“I know. Don’t be afraid,” Cristofer said, gently patting Estelle’s back to comfort her. “Did he do anything else to you before I arrived at the clinic?”
“No,” Estelle said in a low voice.
“Really?”
“He… put his arm around me, but I broke free.”
“Which arm?” Cristofer suddenly asked coldly.
“What?”
“Which hand did he touch you with?” Cristofer asked. Then he sneered and said grimly, “I’ll chop his hand.”
Estelle stared at him with her eyes widening in surprise.
“What’s wrong? Are you scared by my words?” Cristofer asked when seeing her expression.
Shaking her head, Estelle said, “No…”
She was not scared. She just remembered Mr. Mysterious had asked the same question on the golf course three years ago. At that time, after she answered his question, he hit Mr. Klein’s arm hard with the golf club.
Sighing slightly, Cristofer said, “Sorry. I shouldn’t have said such words in front of you. Estelle, I’ll avenge what you have suffered today. As for York, I’ll make him sign the donation agreement whether he is willing to do that or not.”
“What are you going to do?” Estelle couldn’t help asking nervously.
“That’s not important. I’ll take care of it. I’ll send the donation agreement and York to the hospital the day after tomorrow. You just need to arrange for someone to get Christina back here. She needs to have the liver transplant as soon as possible,” Cristofer suggested.
“Do you do this to repay me for cooperating with you and acting in front of Grandpa Gary?” Estelle asked.
Hearing this, Cristofer looked into her eyes and said, “No. I do this for you to compensate for the sufferings I caused you before.”

Estelle surprisingly found that York disappeared. She called York many times, but his phone was powered off, and she couldn’t get through. About two days had passed, and she hadn’t got any news about York.
In the afternoon, two men in police uniforms came to the Hudson Group.
One of them showed Estelle his officer card and then asked, “Excuse me, are you Estelle Hudson? We are the police from the police station nearby. Someone called us and said that he suffered from violence and was threatened. We need you to cooperate with the investigation. May we have a talk with you?”
Hearing that, Estelle nodded at the police and asked her assistant to serve them a coffee. Then she led the police to the reception room.
“Miss Hudson, do you know Jimmy Klein?” one of the police asked.
“Yes, he is a regular customer of our company,” Estelle answered calmly.
“The day before yesterday, we received a call from him. He said that when he went to the hospital to visit his friend, you and a young man violently attacked him and then escaped. Is that true?”
Estelle then told the police everything that had happened in the hospital on the previous day.

“… That’s all. He took many of his subordinates with him and wanted to hurt me first. His subordinates blocked the door of the ward, and I couldn’t escape at all in that situation. I grabbed his knife just out of self-defense.”
One of the policemen nodded and said, “Don’t worry, Miss Hudson. We’ve reviewed the surveillance video. The footage confirms that Jimmy intended to harass you sexually, but it also shows a man in a helmet arriving at the clinic, saving you, and subduing Jimmy.”
Hearing this, Estelle asked with concern, “Is Jimmy badly hurt?”
“He suffered a concussion and a mild fracture. While not life-threatening, he’ll need several months to recover,” the policeman replied. “Miss Hudson, as law enforcement officers, we’ll uphold justice. We will take action against Jimmy for his actions towards you. Additionally, since he was injured by the young man who came to your help, we need to identify and speak with that young man about his actions.”
Biting her lower lip, Estelle contemplated for a moment before saying, “I’ll cover Jimmy’s medical bills and compensate him for the damages.”
“Miss Hudson, you must compensate him, but we must locate the young man first before addressing the compensation matters. He is connected to the case and is vital to our investigation. Without finding him, we won’t be able to close the case.”
At that moment, a knock at the door interrupted their conversation. Estelle’s secretary, Lucy, entered the room and said, “Miss Hudson, Mr. Hans is here. He mentioned he has a document to deliver to you.”
‘What?! Cristofer is here?’ Estelle thought in shock. She quickly rose to her feet and said, “Tell him to leave the document with you and inform him that I’m occupied today and cannot meet with him.”
“Understood.”
“No need to trouble yourself. I’d like to hand you the document personally,” Cristofer declared as he entered the reception area. Upon spotting the two policemen nearby, he swiftly grasped the situation, understanding why Estelle wanted him to depart.
“Miss Hudson, you and Mr. Hans…” The policeman began, but Estelle hurriedly threw herself into Cristofer’s embrace before he could get a clear view of Cristofer’s left hand. She held his hands swiftly and wrapped his arms around her waist.
Today, she wore a long windbreaker, a white shirt, and black trousers. And the long windbreaker covered Cristofer’s hands.
“Why are you here?” To avoid arousing suspicion and create the appearance of a couple, Estelle embraced Cristofer intimately, wrapping her arms around his neck. “You’re always so busy, and you could have had your secretary deliver the document. Why did you come in person for such a small matter?” While speaking, she subtly winked at him, turning her back to the police.
Having known each other for many years, Estelle and Cristofer shared a silent understanding. Seeing her signals, Cristofer promptly caught on.
With a warm smile, he held her close in his arms, his grip secure around her waist. He replied, “I missed you, so I used delivering the document as an excuse to see you. Am I disturbing you?”
Estelle felt a wave of relief, knowing that he had picked up on her cues swiftly.
“No, not at all. The police are here to inquire about the incident at the clinic,” Estelle said, maintaining her suggestive body language.
Cristofer nodded and said, “They should gather more information about that. Jimmy had the audacity to harm you. He should face the consequences,” he added gravely.
“The police mentioned that the clinic’s surveillance cameras captured Jimmy’s inappropriate behavior. They’re pursuing legal action against him,” Estelle informed him.
“That’s good,” Cristofer said, turning to address the police. “Thank you, officers. My wife has been frightened by what Jimmy did to her and has had trouble sleeping these past two days. Please ensure that justice is served swiftly.”
