Wiphy smiles slightly and uses a knife to slowly cut open the gift box.
It is a small soccer field with two rows of players standing in different uniforms.
Those players can run.
Wiphy looks at the soccer field, and his eye lights up, full of joy.
“Baby, those players can all compete. Dad and I will play with you when we have time going forward, okay?”
Wiphy nods heavily.
Yaffe sighs in relief.
The gift to Wiphy is the most expensive item that she bought today. After paying, she is still perturbed, fearing that Wiphy may not like it.
Perhaps after playing a game or participating in an event together, Wiphy will be willing to talk occasionally.
Quinn opens the paper bag and smiles after seeing the tie inside.

After the family happily finishes their meal and chats for a while, Quinn takes Yaffe and Wiphy back to the mansion.
They also put Wiphy’s soccer field into the trunk.
After Yaffe sits on Quinn’s new Bentley Continental, she says in hindsight, “Rich Man, sorry, I forgot to buy gifts for your parents today.”
“There are sour food and pastries from mother-in-law in the trunk. These gifts are more unique than anything else.”
“But I didn’t make those.”
“You have plenty of opportunities in the future. You don’t need to rush this time.”
Yaffe hums.
After the car starts, Wiphy climbs onto Yaffe’s lap and puts his head on her neck.
Yaffe pats his small back gently, letting him lean against her.
**
After driving for more than an hour, the car heads to Mt. Bright.
When approaching home, Yaffe glances out the window and notices a figure in a pink coat and white skirt on the side of the road.
The outfit is very familiar, as if she is the woman that Yaffe saw on wedding day.
Yaffe turns to Quinn.
There is no expression on Quinn’s face. He steps on the accelerator and speeds past Molly.
Yaffe sees Molly’s freeze and turns her head, no longer looking out the window.
Molly looks at the disappearing Bentley Continental. She clenches her trembling hands into fists and continues walking towards the He family’s place.
**
When the car drives into the yard, Karmier and Roi are waiting for them in the yard like last time.
Quinn gets out of the car and helps Yaffe open the door. Karmier and Roi are very happy to see Wiphy sitting on Yaffe’s lap.
“Is your family in good health?”
“Thanks for your concern. They are all in good health,” Yaffe replies. She then says with embarrassment, “I should have brought gifts this time, but I accidentally forgot.”
“It’s fine as long as you came. We don’t need anything.”
Wiphy takes out the tablet and writes on it, “The gift that mommy bought for me is too big for her to buy anything else.”
Seeing Wiphy take the initiative to explain for Yaffe, Karmier smiles and says, “Grandpa and grandma didn’t mean to blame your mommy. We don’t lack anything. We are satisfied as long as the three of you come back and stay here frequently.”
Quinn opens the trunk and says, “Dad and mom, Yaffe’s parents prepared gifts for both of you. The pastries were made by mother-in-law today. They are still warm.”
Roi cannot help but complain after hearing him, “Why would you put pastries in the trunk? Won’t they smell of gasoline?”
“They are boxed, so should be fine,” Quinn says indifferently and takes all of the large boxes out of the trunk.
Wiphy runs to the side to protect his soccer field.
It took two trips for the servants of the He family to move everything into the house.
Yaffe asks Roi, “Mom, have you started preparing dinner?”
“Don’t worry about dinner. Let Quinn and his father prepare. We women will accompany the children and chat.”
Yaffe smiles and says, “Mom, tell me how you tamed them. I’d like to gain some insight.”
“The two of them are people who are used to dinner parties, so they love to spend time in the kitchen when they come back. It works for me and gives me time to relax. This is also our luck. Don’t be uncomfortable, just get used to it.”
Yaffe nods.
Roi takes Yaffe’s hand. “The plum blossoms that were planted last year have bloomed. I’ll take you there and show you.”
“Okay.” Yaffe turns to Wiphy, who is circling around the soccer field, and says, “Baby, do you want to go to see the plum blossoms with mommy and grandma?”
Wiphy tilts his head for a moment, runs to Yaffe’s side, and puts his chubby little hand into Yaffe’s hand. He looks at Yaffe with dark yet shining eyes.
Yaffe squeezes his little chubby hand lightly, “Mom, please lead the way.”
Roi is very happy as she watches the interaction between the two.
Wiphy’s affection for Yaffe completely exceeds their expectations.
When the three of them walk out of the main house and are about to head to the backyard, Molly arrives at the gate of the yard.
Molly shouts, “Aunt Roi.”
Roi pauses. She glances at Yaffe with some embarrassment, and then turns to Molly. “Molly, why are you here?”
Molly does not look at Yaffe but walks directly to Roi. “My parents planted some fresh fungi and wanted me to bring you and uncle some to try.”
Roi doesn’t reach out to take it. “Your uncle and I have also planted some, so I won’t trouble you guys with delivering them going forward. Plus, walking back and forth isn’t good for your health.”
The basket that Molly is handing over froze in the air. She can neither continue handing it over nor take it back.
The atmosphere is awkward for a while.
Seeing the tears in Molly’s eyes, Yaffe feels that Molly’s personality is a bit like Rowie’s and doesn’t want to embarrass her. She takes the basket in Molly’s hand. “Thank you for bringing it here. Mom, Wiphy and I will go to the backyard first. You can chat with this young lady.”
After speaking, Yaffe brings the basket with fresh fungi back to the hall and heads to the backyard from the side door.
Roi sighs and looks at Molly helplessly. “Dear, Quinn has made a choice. What’s the point of you doing this?”
“Aunt Roi, I don’t want to give up.”
“I don’t say who was right or wrong before. Now that things have come to this point, I will stand on my son’s side. I will be biased towards whoever he chose.”
Molly’s face is livid and pale. Her lips tremble violently.
She wishes she could disappear from the world at this moment.
Roi continues, “You don’t have to worry that we will stop cooperating with your family because of Quinn’s marriage. You saved me and Wiphy. Quinn will give priority to your family when it comes to work.”
“I’m not afraid of this. I just…”
Roi pats her shoulder gently. “Aunt Roi didn’t mean to blame you; I like you very much. But Quinn has already made a choice. I hope you can stop being fixated on the past. You are still young, and you still have a future ahead of you. Don’t ruin your future. Quinn’s life is basically set. You still have a choice. It’s never too late as long as you can forget about Quinn.”
