Chapter 51 I Thought We’ve Already Done It

Book:Crush on You Published:2024-5-1

Yaffe helps Wiphy put on his pajamas and takes him into her bed.
Wiphy looks at her sleepily, and then closes his eyes obediently.
Yaffe can’t help but kisses his little cheek, gets up and goes downstairs.
Monismith asks without looking back when she hears the footsteps, “Is Wiphy asleep?”
“Yeah.” Yaffe sits down next to Monismith and watches family ethical dramas with her, “Dad’s situation is getting better, so don’t worry.”
“I am not worried about him. I am more worried about you.”
“Worried about me?” Yaffe is puzzled.
“You and Quinn just got married, and it’s not good to always trouble him. Besides, how many times have you been to the He Mansion after you’ve been married? You have to keep in mind of what you should do as a wife. I used to spoil you and wouldn’t let you learn such trivial things. That’s why you still don’t know how to act like a married woman.”
Yaffe is feeling kind of speechless, “I am too embarrassed to ask if Quinn doesn’t give me an offer. Should I just say ‘well, when shall we go to your house for a meal?’ He will kill me!”
“Then I’ll kill you first!” Monismith stares at her angrily, “In addition to getting acquainted with the He family, you should think about having your own child. Judging by Wiphy’s situation, you can’t have my own baby in at least two or three years, maybe even longer. You will be a woman with advanced maternal age by then.”
“Mom, I’m begging you. Can you stop worrying about me? I’ve just gotten married. Can you not mention having my own child?”
“If you are concerned about your own stuff, I won’t bother to worry about you.”
“You can just wander around with dad like you used to.”
“Stop joking! Think about it by yourself. If you get kicked out one day, don’t blame me for not reminding you.”
“Got it. If I’m kicked out by them, I will take you to the street to beg for food.”
Monismith doesn’t want to chat with her anymore but goes upstairs to rest.
Yaffe watches TV for a while, and suddenly realizes that her recent life is truly a little bit boring.
Since she got married, she has spent all her time at home besides the hospital, and she hasn’t even had time to go shopping.
This kind of life is too distorted.
Yaffe takes out her cell phone and wants to call Rowie, but she sees Quinn’s WeChat message first.
Quinn: How is Wiphy?
Yaffe checks the time when he has sent the message, which was ten minutes ago.
So she replies, “He’s fine. He is taking a break now.”
As soon as Yaffe sends the message, Quinn calls.
Yaffe answers the phone, “Hello.”
“Would you like to come down? I’m downstairs.”
“Why don’t you come upstairs? Will Wiphy be angry if he wakes up to find nobody around?”
“He is not so vulnerable, come down.”
“As you wish.”
Yaffe takes a coat from the hanger in the hallway and puts it on before going downstairs.
As soon as she gets downstairs, she sees Quinn leaning against the car door, looking at something.
The elderly in the neighborhood and the young girls who don’t have to go to work on weekends are watching him.
When Yaffe walks out of the door, Quinn opens the passenger door for her.
Yaffe gets in the car with everybody watching her.
The car quickly gets away from the neighborhood and arrives at the City Park near Yaffe’s home.
Yaffe doesn’t know what Quinn wants, and looks at him suspiciously.
Quinn keeps his hand on the steering wheel without making a sound.
Yaffe waits for a while, knowing that she can never be as calm as Quinn does.
So she says first, “Rich guy, what’s wrong with you? Your ex-girlfriend has come to your door, and you want to divorce me? I can divorce you if that’s what you want, but I won’t give you back the two hundred million Yuan.”
Quinn is speechless, “That two hundred million Yuan is more important than me to you? You will have more money if you stay with me.”
“Isn’t that the bottom line? It would be nice to have two hundred million Yuan without you.”
Quinn snorts and doesn’t want to talk to her anymore.
Yaffe is used to that kind of attitude, and she doesn’t care about it. She just turns around and looks at the lake outside the car window.
There is still some snow by the lake, and the lotus leaves on the surface of the lake are withered and yellow, looking rather dull in winter.
Yaffe finds that she is looking at a deserted lake and suddenly feels that her life is so miserable.
How empty her soul is!
Quinn glances at Yaffe, and finds that her profile is very delicate.
Her eyes are especially beautiful..
She has clear and agile eyes with childlike innocence inside.
Yaffe notices Quinn’s peeping, and glances at him.
“I’ll charge you one hundred million Yuan for a peep, thanks.”
“Does your family know you are so funny?”
“I know. That’s how they raised me.” Yaffe put a smile on her face, “Well, rich guy, thank you for helping my dad.”
“You are my wife. How can I let others bully my father-in-law?”
“I think so too, so I just express my gratitude verbally”
Quinn, “…”
Yaffe looks at his speechless expression and can’t help laughing, “Let’s go. I’m going to cook tonight and treat you. Even my mother hasn’t eaten the dishes I cook for years. .”
“So, I should feel moved.”
“Absolutely.”
Quinn rubs her head and doesn’t want to talk to this little woman anymore.
Yaffe is puzzled, “Rich guy, tell me your real purpose today. Do you suddenly think that I am beautiful and cute, and decide to sleep with me?”
“I thought we’ve already done it.” Quinn replies slowly.
Yaffe is speechless and wants to bite off his tongue.
“So what are you here for?”
“See if you have taken my son away.”
“You’ve been worrying too much; I don’t have the gut to do it yet.”
Quinn glances at his watch, “Let’s go grocery shopping.”
“I’m not coming with you!”
“What did you say a few minutes ago?”
Yaffe said with a serious face, “If I go to the supermarket with you, all the people will stare at me.”
“Sounds like you think you have the right to say no.” Quinn starts the car directly and parks it in the parking lot of a large supermarket nearby.
Yaffe says hopelessly, “Rich guy, wait in the car. Buying food is trivial and boring, just leave it to me.”
Quinn doesn’t reply but gets off the car, goes to Yaffe’s side, and opens the door for her.
Yaffe has no choice but to get out of the car.
Sure enough, as Yaffe has expected.
As soon as she and Quinn appear in the supermarket, they attract everyone’s attention.
Of course, those eyes basically fix on Quinn.
Occasionally, some people would lay their eyes on her, and move away within a second.
Perhaps those young girls are thinking to themselves, “What a waste for such a good-looking man to be with an ordinary woman like her. It would be better if I’m the one to stand beside him.”
