Chapter 41 Rich Man, You’re Seducing Me

Book:Crush on You Published:2024-5-1

Her family has always compared Yaffe’s grades with hers. Yaffe had been a straight A student and mostly in the top five of her grade during school.
Technically, Yaffe had been a winner in the first 20 years of her life.
It wasn’t until she gave up the chance to go abroad for Zeow that her reputation was ruined.
Her parents often secretly said that Yaffe was a stupid bookworm at that time.
But Yannick and Monismith had never complained about Yaffe’s choice. When their relatives asked about it, they only passed it and did not blame Yaffe at all.
Now, Yaffe marries Quinn. Quinn is so kind to the Qin family and the Lo family. People must envy Yaffe’s good fortune.
Why can Yaffe be so lucky?
She is also good looking and even has a better figure than Yaffe does.
Why does Quinn marry a woman like Yaffe?
Jarre looks at Quinn and wonders if Quinn will still be with Yaffe if he knows about Yaffe and Zeow.
Jarre freezes as the thought crosses her mind.
She doesn’t expect that she will have such a thought.
Seeing that Jarre is silent, Yaffe pushes her, “What is wrong? Are you tired?”
“A little.”
“Then go rest in the guest room. I’ll call you later for dinner.”
“Alright. Then enjoy your chat.”
After saying that, Jarre stands up and walks to the guest room.
The guest room is at the very back. Jarre pauses as she passes by Yaffe’s room.
She hesitates for a while. Then, she gently opens the door and walks into Yaffe’s room.
In the room, Wiphy is sleeping on the bed.
His small body trembles and he opens his eyes alertly after hearing the noise. He looks very serious.
Jarre doesn’t expect that she will see such a scene when she walks in. She has thought that Wiphy has fallen asleep.
Wiphy stares straight at her with black eyes. He does not look like a five year old.
Jarre is speechless and does not know what to say now.
Wiphy looks at the panic which flickers over Jarre’s face and gives a scornful smile that doesn’t match his actual age.
Jarre is scared and says in a trembling voice, “Sorry, I’m in the wrong room.”
After saying that, she runs out.
Wiphy gets out of the bed and closes the door.
With such a little nerve, how dare she play tricks in front of him? This woman is really stupid.
Thinking of that Yaffe is related to such a woman, Wiphy thinks that Yaffe is so great. It is a miracle that she is still so clever after spending for a long time with a fool.
Since there are almost forty relatives, they don’t have lunch at home.
This time, Yannick and Monismith treats them to lunch at a nearby five-star hotel. Quinn is still the focus during time.
Wiphy clings to Yaffe. He refills Yaffe’s bowl and feeds her.
He is so enthusiastic that people who don’t know them may think that he is Yaffe’s biological son.
Yaffe eats a few bites of the food Wiphy gives her. Then, she stops him.
Wiphy is still a little kid and is not very skillful with chopsticks. So, it’s a bit difficult for him to use chopsticks.
It is enough that she feels his kindness.
Yannick and Monismith are pleased when they see Yaffe’s interaction with Wiphy.
They have pitied Wiphy after hearing about his origins. Now, seeing that he is so sensible, they are more satisfied with him.
If it isn’t for the fact that Wiphy isn’t close to anyone other than Quinn and Yaffe, Monismith will have rushed to hug and kiss him.
What a cute and sensible child!
They don’t finish lunch until three o’clock in the afternoon. The men all have drunk a lot.
Quinn is the focus of the crowd and it is the first time he officially meets the member of the Qin family and Lo family. So, many people drank a toast to him.
But he doesn’t look drunk.
It isn’t until all the people are sent out of the box that Quinn leans on Yaffe’s shoulder.
Yaffe can smell alcohol on him, “Do you want to get a room here to rest?”
“No. Just let me lean on it for a while. I can sleep after getting home.”
“Are you always so tired while discussing business, Rich Man?”
“Are you distressed?”
“Just a little.” Yaffe is a bit embarrassed after saying that and adds, “Rich Man, you must take care of yourself so that I can be well provided for.”
Quinn chuckles after hearing this, “People of my level are rarely drunk in business. I can refuse most of the toast. It is up to me to drink or not.”
“Then you’ve had a long day.”
“I married you. How hard can it be to occasionally deal with your relatives?”
Hearing Quinn’s words, Yaffe laughs and thinks that Quinn is reasonable.
It seems that she has to learn some business etiquette and table manner. She can’t be too rude while meeting Quinn’s family later.
After they sit for a while, Yannick and Monismith finish sending off the last group of guests.
Quinn straightens up and smiles, “The guests have all gone back?”
“Yes. Quinn, are you okay? Would you like to order a glass of sobering soup from the hotel?” Monismith is concerned.
“No. A short walk will sober me up.”
“Then, let’s walk back slowly. The two families are too happy to drink a toast nonstop. If you feel bothered, I’ll remind them.”
“It’s all right. They’re also happy about our marriage.”
They walk home from the hotel slowly.
When they get home, Quinn goes upstairs to Yaffe’s room to wash up.
Monismith goes to the kitchen and cooks two portions of wake-up soup for them.
One for Yannick and one for Quinn. Monismith asks Yaffe to take it upstairs to Quinn.
When Yaffe pushes the door into the room, Quinn is coming out of the bathroom with only a bath towel around his entire body.
Yaffe feels bashful and coughs slightly, “Rich Man, are you seducing me?”
“Or what?”
“After we’re more familiar, I’ll definitely jump on you when you do this.” Yaffe says with a smile, putting the sobering soup on the bedside table, “Mom made it for you. Drink it and get some sleep. I’ll call you when it’s time for dinner.”
“Where’s Wiphy?” Quinn takes the bowl of soup and drinks it.
“He’s playing in the little living room on the second floor.”
“Well, his adaptability is better than I have thought.”
“That must be because I’m too kind.” Yaffe says proudly.
“Since you say so, I cannot refute that.” Quinn drinks the sobering soup.
Yaffe puts away the bowl after Quinn finishes the soup, “Have a good rest.”
After saying that, she takes the empty bowl and goes out.
Quinn changes into his pajamas, lifts the blanket and lies down.
