Sung has been in the royal palace for a few days, due to the Queen’s sickness. She’s getting worse day after day. The King used to suggest Wengela to treat her, while she refuses. Worse, she couldn’t see things clearly recently, after she has fallen to the ground by accident last year. She tries to pretend she can see stuff, in order to make everyone less concern. However, it doesn’t work at all. She keeps falling down time after time when she goes out. Then her gentle character becomes aggressive this year. She’s pissed with everything and everyone. She doesn’t allow anyone to touch or treat her, she knows she’s goner sooner or later.
The King knows her mother’s character well, and he used to order the doctor to treat her secretly when she’s asleep. But she wakes up every time, cause she has a good hearing still. “Can you please let me rest in peace?! I don’t want to cure myself, it’s too late and wasting my time. If you want then just cure my eyes! I want to see my beautiful Charlie before I die.” She says then cries a lot. Sometimes she dreams of her father, the royal King, “Father, please take me away, don’t let me suffer anymore! I’m tired.” She talks to herself like this in the night… Knowing this from her maids, the King has given up. He only gives her some medicines which are good for her eyes, and that’s it. Later on, her body becomes weaker and weaker, her whole body starts to ache when it’s raining. One day, she tried to suicide by throwing herself to the wall, then her maid found it and stopped her at once! They hugged together and cried in the room. The King saw them and decided to follow her wish since then. He won’t push her anymore.
A few days later, her condition gets really bad. She can’t move at all, so she stays on bed day and night. The King has no choice to bring Wendy to her. It’s been raining for two days, you can smell the humid only in the dim light of the room. The King sighs near the windowsill, “Dan, go bring Division for me!” Dan nods. Very soon, Division comes, the King brings him to the library, “What’s new? When the rain will stop and how’s my future? Do you know? It’s been rained like half a month, all the crops are damaged, how are my people going to survive?! And the Queen, she’s getting weaker and weaker, I worry about… I can give you money if you can solve the problems.” The King says in agony.
“My King, as I said, it was the Purple Star crossed the sky, that’s why all the bad things happen. I just suggest you to be nice to Prince Jun, he will help you one day! Besides, you must marry that doctor, then she could save our country, and the Queen!” Division says. The King looks up to the dark sky, “But it’s not easy to marry her, she doesn’t give me any chance or feedback! Do you have other way to cure the Queen? That’s the most important thing for now.” The King requests. “Wait, do you think this all related to Wendy? I remembered you said if I gave Wendy a brand, she would be happy and solved all our problems.”
Division shakes his head, “My King, I never said the royal princess was a ghost or something bad, she was a good soul. Same as that doctor, she was meant to send to you, by Royal Princess Yasmin! If she can be here, then all our problems will solve.” The King gets pissed all of a sudden, “Without that doctor, we can’t do nothing, is that what you mean?! Even I’m the King of this country?! What about my power then?!” Division bends down immediately, explaining, “My King, of course you are the one who has the most power here, for our country! It’s just your power gets a little ruined by this special star. It’s not good for you to fight this year, that’s why I suggested that doctor to help. We can use her while she’s here, then you will be less stressed. How about we ask her to stay here with the Queen until she recovers, then we can tarp her here. It’s good for the Queen as well.”
His words give the King some hopes, “For real? And how about my catastrophe?!” Division shakes his head, he doesn’t know about it. “I’m sorry, my King. About your catastrophe, no one knows at the moment. We can ask Prince Jun to stay near you, then wait for that day to come… The King nods, making sense, “Dan, bring Doctor Wen and Prince Jun here, tell them they can’t leave without my permission!” Dan nods then runs out.
Sung knew this terrible news, and waited for Wendy in the royal palace. It’s raining again, like his heart. He asks San to welcome her outside. Soon, he sees Wendy and Prince Jun walk from the main gate together. The big drops of rain run down from Wendy’s cheek, she’s freezing now. She forgot to bring her warm clothes with her. Sung desires to hug her, while he can’t.
“Dan! How could you let the doctor and Uncle Jun come without an umbrella?! Go bring two stoves and two coats for them! Why you are so dumb today?!” The King yells to Dan. He also feels bad for Wengela. Such a poor girl, she must be cold. The King thinks.
The Queen hears something then turns her face towards outside, “Oh, Uncle Jun came?” She asks then searches him with her blind eyes. Jun and Wendy come to the center of the hall, greeting everyone. “Very pleasure to meet you, my dear King, my dear Queen, my dear empresses, and my dear princess and princes.” Empress Ron smiles to Jun, “I’m very happy to see you again, Uncle Jun, we haven’t been met around five years. And look at you, you still look very stunning in such an age!”
Jun laughs, “My dear sister in law, that’s very nice of you to say that. But it’s not properly to say here, I’m afraid someone would get jealous.” The King laughs, “I won’t, no worry!” Empress Ron teases back, “When are you gonna have a family, handsome Jun?” June replies, “Not now, my sister in law. I must find the best one for myself, or I won’t waste my lifetime on someone randomly.” After his words, Dan brings two small hand stoves and coats for Wendy and Jun. Wendy holds the stove tight, she doesn’t dare to check on Sung though she wants to. The strong wind blows to the hall, like a ghostly whispering, and blows the yellow curtains up.
Wendy feels weird, why they put the Queen here with others? They should let her rest well right? And why the people here seem so calm?! She smells cheating here, she hopes the Queen’s sickness wouldn’t be a lie to bring her here. She understands well how much the King wants to trap her in his place. She also has a feeling, Jun will be killed by the King sooner or later. While, she can’t have much heart to others now. All her heart is on Sung. They peek to each other from time to time, then their glares drop to the cold white stone ground.
Zack, Zena and small Charlie come later, they put Charlie down gently. Wendy checks on him, Charlie is really cute, he looks like her mother, with big eyes and pretty face. He wears a cyan padded jacket and a pair of cute red leather shoes. He strides forwards to greet everyone. “Welcome to meet you, my dear Royal grandma, and my dear grandma and grandpa, and all other brothers and sisters…” He talks like a little angel, with his baby voice, too adorable. Wendy wants to hug him if there’s a chance. The King is very happy to see him, “Come to me, Charlie.” He hugs Charlie up onto his laps, kissing his tiny pink cheek, “Wow, our Charlie is more handsome now!”
Empress Ron laughs with him, “My King, he’s just three years old. So he is just cute, right? My Charlie?” Charlie turns his little head to Ron, “No, I am handsome! My mom said I am handsome, just like my royal grandpa.” His funny words make everyone laugh, they all adore this little angel. Wendy watches him with a sweet smile, that’s her godson, indeed. She saved him and brought him back to this world. Her smile touches the King, come to think one day, Wengela will bring him a cute child as Carlie to this country. How wonderful!! Sung stays aside, and watches his sick smile to Wendy, he would kill him at once!!
“Whopper…” The Queen coughs inside, makes the King worry. “Charlie, let’s go to see the royal grandma, okay?” Charlie laughs out loud, “Yay, go to see, go to see!” When he and Charlie go inside, his face turns to gloomy. “Wengela, come!” Wendy nods then comes inside. Sung wants to join her, but stops by the Royal Empress.
