The next day, Wendy goes to the Royal Palace for the acupuncture routine. It’s the last day of the King’s procedure. “My King, how do you feel these days?” Wendy massages him after the acupuncture. “It’s good! I feel less pain these days. Besides, I used to have pain on my neck, then it’s magically disappeared. It’s all your credit!” The King bursts into laughter.
“Of course, if your arteries and veins are stuck, the pain will come to you. But look at you now, so full of energy, like a young man!” Wendy says. “All my doctors here, can not compare to you, Doctor Wen!” The King is too happy to speak his mind.
Wendy gets flattered by his praise, it’s too much for her. Strangely, she feels teasing from the King, that’s why it made Sung mad that day. Wendy steps back a little and answers, “I’m just a normal doctor, my King. I’m sure the doctors here are better than me. Besides, every doctor is different, I’m good at with acupuncture. While if you ask me for something else, like how to use medicine on different patients, the other doctors here know more than me.”
The King nods, stares at her seriously, “Very modest! I heard you helped Zoe this time. She woke up all because of you!” Wendy feels shy at the point, “Well, I helped her with Doctor Zhuge together, we both helped her this time, my King.”
“I will praise him too, not to worry!” The King lowers his voice, “I need to ask you a question, you must tell me the truth.” Wendy nods. The King stands up then walks to her closer, Wendy steps back a little, “You seem to scare of me.” He says. “No, just admire, my King. You are the King and the most important person for this country.” Wendy replies.
“Hah, good answer.” He walks closer to her. He walks closer and closer, like a male peacock, trying to get his lover! Wendy feels tense and steps back, until she’s against the wall, she has nowhere to go now. Suddenly, someone knocks the door, “You King! The Division asks to see you!” He ignores outside, “Let him wait!” Wendy finds a chance to slip away, she bows and says, “My King, I think the division finds you for something important. I better leave now.” She runs out fast. The King laughs inside, feels funny, “Hah, so cute!”
Wendy runs out towards the main door. She passes the division then sees Sung awaiting outside. “What happened?” He asks. Wendy looks back, whispering, “Let’s talk at home.” Sung nods, he feels something worse happens, because he never sees her that anxious before…
“What happened?” Sung grabs Wendy’s hand and asks. Wendy calms her down then tells him what happened inside. “My god, he’s forty or something, how he gonna?!” Sung holds his fist tight, then he asks coldly, “Wait, did you do something that make him misunderstand?”
Wendy shocks, “You mean I flirt him?” Sung nods, “If not then, why he could…”
Wendy breaks out, “You made me so disappointed, Sung. I never know you think of me like that! You need to cool off man!” Wendy turns and walks away. Sung grabs her, begins to apologize, “Don’t, I, I’m sorry. I just lost my mind that time… But, did you really not do something to misunderstand him?”
Wendy replies in despair, “I am only a doctor for your father. I never think of other things in my head. If you don’t believe me then I’ll leave.” Sung hugs her fast, “No, you won’t! Don’t you say that!” Wendy sighs, “Sung, we love each other. If you don’t trust me, then we shouldn’t be together…”
Sung keeps in deep quiet, Wendy’s words scare him. Losing her, is another scary thing for him now. “I am wrong, I shouldn’t do this to you. I apologize, and please forgive me, Wendy.” Sung looks at her with stern, “Wait, my father won’t let you go I know him. How about let’s go to tell him now, that we are going to marry?! Then he won’t bother you anymore!” Wendy is lost, she doesn’t know what to do. If she goes with Sung, the relationship between Sung and his father will be worse. Suddenly, a carriage runs from afar, Wendy lets him go. The carriage belongs to Zack.
Zack opens the curtain, and teases, “Oh, my brother, why you have the mood to hang out today?” Sung replies, “Same as you! Why are you here?” Zack ignores him and peeks at Wendy, “Is that the doctor called Wen or something? She looks normal, and she can’t compare with the previous one.” He closes his curtain and yells inside, “Move!” His carriage runs in.
After he left, Sung notices he can’t show Wendy’s identity now. Otherwise, Zack would find more troubles for him. Wendy shocks by Zack’s gesture today, he used to be very nice to Sung. What happened to make him like this? But it is understandable, possibly, Zack’s family pushed him behind to win the King’s position. Never forget that people can change with power!
In the carriage, Princess Zena and Prince Charlie with him too. “Hey, why you say like that? You knew he’s been sad for three years about Wendy…” Zena complains a little, holding his hand. Zack sneers, “Don’t be fool by him, Zena! He is just pretending. Have you seen how he held that doctor’s hand? Wendy just left for three years, and he has found someone else! Despite her family name is Wen, and she’s a doctor. While, she can’t compare with our Wendy! They made me sick!”
Little Charlie looks at them arguing, he doesn’t understand the reason, “Father, who’s Wendy?”
“Wendy is your godmother, without her, without us!” Zack hugs Charlie and answers. “Then what’s she looks like?” Charlie asks, blinking his big dark eyes.
“She is the most beautiful woman in this country.” Zena laughs. “More beautiful than mommy?” Charlie keeps asking and rubs Zena’s clothes. Zena nods with a smile, “One hundred times beautiful than mommy! Charlie, remember, we see people’s beauty not from the looking, but the heart, do you understand?” Charlie shakes his tiny head, “No, mom. If people look pretty then they are pretty, if not then they are ugly.” Zena and Zack smile to each other, they cherish their lives more than anything.
Back to Sung’s place, Cooper is here, with Coral and Donkey. “Why are you here?” Sung asks with a donkey face. He doesn’t like Cooper all because he’s very close to Wendy. He is always jealous of him. “Oh, Coral gets sick, so I bring to Wendy.” Cooper replies gently. He doesn’t mind of Sung at all.
“Coral? Who’s that?” Sung asks. “It’s her! So cute right?” Wendy points to her dog, says with a warm smile. Then she turns to Cooper, “Why she gets sick again? You must bring her to swim, aren’t you?! Find a woman, Cooper!!” Sung looks down to Coral, feeling disgusting, “You call her Coral?” Wendy nods, “Do you like her?” Sung sneers then goes back with anger.
“Why he’s pissed? What’s wrong with him again?” Cooper asks. Wendy shakes her head, “I have no fucking clue… All men from this country are kind of weirdo.”
Soon, they lock their eyes on Coral, “He doesn’t like dogs!!”
