He was hungry and starved, as he had only been given a tiny glass of blood for a week. He felt like a dog. He had been tortured for days by his captors. He had been beaten, shot and forced to drink juniper which weakened him even more as his captors forced him to name other vampire, which he refused to do.
Samson would come for him. That had been his hope and prayer for days. But the days turned into nights and nights turned into days and George was loosing hope. The heavy metal door opened, and his captors came in, both of them carrying guns and sharp knives, and George knew it was time for another round of torture. He couldn’t take it anymore.
A bucket of water was poured on him and he shivered. He lifted his battered face to face the man whom he had come to know as Jeremiah.
“Are you going to speak now, or would you like to endure more of this?” Jeremiah said and he grabbed a chunk of George’s hair and pulled his head up. “honestly, I don’t think that you can take more of this. Just tell me what I need to know and this will be quick. No one is coming for you. No one knows where you are. Quit the stalling and talk to me. Give me the names of your vampire buddies. All of them! Now!”
George remained quiet, and Jeremiah got angrier. He stepped back and aimed his gun at George, then emptied juniper soaked bullets into his stomach and hands, making George yell in pain.
The other hunter grabbed Jeremiah’s shoulder.”Slow down” he said, “You are going to kill him before he tells us anything, and all this would be a waste”
“The damn blood sucker is wasting our time, and I’m tired of his stalling” Jeremiah roared. He suddenly dropped his gun and pulled out a small knife out of his pocket. “Fine” he said, “If you won’t talk to me, then I’m going gouge out your eyes, then cut off your fingers one by one. After that I’m going to cut you open and take out your organs one by one. I hear the only way kill you vampire’s is to cut off your heads or drive a stake through your heart. You will still live. I’m sure it will fun taking you apart one by one and having you grow those parts back only for me to cut them off again.”
The man was crazy, but George had been tortured by him long enough to know that he was not bluffing. As soon as he felt the cold metal of the blade on his eye lids, he shouted.
“Fine. Fine. I will tell you” he gasped, “But you have to promise to let me go if I tell you. I will do anything you want. I will leave town if you want, and never return but please just let me go”
“Fine. You have my word” Jeremiah said, “I will let live if you give me their names. Especially the name of one who killed my son, Evan Desmond”
George had known about Evan’s death and he had been at the meeting when Samson and Jacob Saunders had fought. He now understand that these Men were not just vampire hunters, but Men who also wanted revenge.
Jeremiah’s hand gripped his hair tighter. “Speak, damn it” he yelled.
Tears rolled out of George’s eyes as he began to speak, hoping that his friends would forgive him for betraying them. “Samson Perry… Vanessa Cox… Mark David… Raymond Hudgens… Darrell Bing… Maddison Green… Ross Templeton… Jacob Saunders… He killed your son”
Jeremiah let go of his hair and stepped back. He turned to Travis, who was making a voice recording of the whole thing.
“Did you get that?” Jeremiah asked and Travis nodded.
“Yeah I got it”
George watched as Jeremiah picked up a sharp Matchet and began to move towards him. He understood now. They were never going to let him go. He panicked.
“No please. I told you everything you wanted” he yelled. “You said you would let me go!”
“Well, what can I say…. I lied” Jeremiah said, as he lifted and swung the Matchet with all his strength.
Blood splashed on the walls and all over Jeremiah’s shirt as George’s head fell from his neck.

“So you live here now?” Emily asked Isabella as she sipped the wine Isabella offered them. They were at Samson’s balcony,. Isabella had invited them over when they kept asking why she hadn’t shown up at work and she was tired of putting them off.
The truth was that she liked living with Samson. He was caring and sensitive. Passionate and loving. He was everything she wanted in a man. But the problem was that he wasn’t a man. He was a vampire, and she was actually getting used to the idea of him being one.
She had even started to give the blood bonding thing some thought. Samson hadn’t mentioned it to her again and he seemed content with just having her around. But she didn’t stop thinking about it and the thought of becoming a vampire and living happily with the love of her life was becoming appealing every day.
She didn’t fail to remember the disadvantages too. Leaving her friends was going to be hard, and so when she saw that the idea of letting Samson turn her into a vampire was getting even more appealing, she decided that she had better begin to spend more time with friends. After all, what mattered was the time and memories they made together.
“I don’t live here yet” Isabella replied, “But I’m considering it. What do you guys think?”
“I think it’s fast. You have to slow down” Vivian said
Emily and Isabella gave her a weird look. Since when did Vivian worry about things moving too fast with a guy. Emily didn’t hesitate to ask and Vivian just rolled her eyes as she turned to Isabella.
“Well, if you would really like to know, your new best friend, Raymond dumped me a few days ago after ghosting me?”
“Were you guys even dating at all all?” Emily cut in.
“Shut up” Vivian said and turned back to Isabella. “Its not my fault that I thought that night after the party would turn to something more. Anyways I ran into him at the bar and he said it was just a fling and he had no interest in starting anything serious. Anyways it doesn’t matter. I really don’t care. I’m just telling you because birds of a feather flock together, and you just gotta be careful. Because one minute you might be moving in with Samson and making all these big plans and decisions together, and he will just wake up one morning, and to hell with everything. You can’t trust these Men nowadays “
