This night, Joshua took some time to sit in the wedding room again, looking at Michelle’s picture on the wall for a long time.
He reached out his hand, and touched her face on the picture, her brows, her lips. He has done this uncountable times before, but, it was not as familiar anymore.
Michelle was the only girl he has ever felt anything for in his whole life, but now, she could only appear in front of him as a photograph. Even when Michelle was still around, he was always out with other woman, causing a lot of gossip around him, but Michelle knew, that even when he was with another woman, he was only thinking about her.
His father always kept an eye on him, watching and influencing every single step he took, and to get his business going, he had no other choice but to act as a rich playboy who didn’t care about anything, except for women.
All this was only to get his father’s attention, but he had to hurt Michelle in order to do that, multiple times. He couldn’t tell her what he was doing, because he couldn’t allow his loved one to lose her sense of security or even worry about him before he was able to escape his father’s influence.
There has been numerous rumors, but he always kept Michelle well hidden, no one was ever able to know who she was. Except for the few people he trusted, no one else knew, that he had a girlfriend, who was not alive anymore.
Michelle’s beautiful face looked like a fairy from the tales, giving him no chance to even think about other women, but now, she was already gone, she went back to her fairyland, and he was left on earth all alone.
And all this was Abigail’s fault.
Joshua made a fist and banged against the wall with it, his calm face was now full of anger.
His father knows everything about his life, Abigail must be the one to tell him the news, but, for some reason his father was getting worse and worse in his work, Abigail’s personality was already out in the open, but he still hadn’t asked her to leave. Which game was he playing this time?
It didn’t matter, because now he had all the time in the world to play games with his father, from today on, they will be playing a different kind of game, and he was more than excited to see how it’s going to go. And when the day comes that he finds the evidence he needs, he is going to break it all down to him!

Harry, who was just introduced by Joshua to everyone, came to the villa while a bunch of guards were on her side. She was having a smile on her face that could not be missed, and her high heels were clicking on the floor so that everyone had to hear her, even if they actually wanted to ignore her.
“Go stand somewhere else, I need to rest now.” Harry gestured to the many guards following behind her, then she sat down on the couch in the living room, and waved towards Annie who was also there.
Harry was playing with the 18 carat diamond ring on her finger, and wouldn’t forget to raise her hand once in a while to show it off to Annie.
Annie was so angry, that she was kicking one of the maids that was bringing some tea, “What the hell are you doing here, who the hell do you think you are?”
The maid who got yelled at for no apparent reason was feeling really down, since she had no idea what she did wrong.
Harry went to help the maid, and said laughingly, “Miss Annie, what are you being so angry for, you know anger is not good for your skin, you’ll get pimples, and that’s not pretty!”
She saw that the maid was almost about to cry, so she just waved her to leave, “You can go, it’s alright.”
“What are you doing? I am teaching my maids a lesson, and that’s none of your business!” Annie had to show who she was in the house, and started yelling at Harry, waving her hands around.
But Harry was keeping her calm, checking her nails, raising her diamond ring up high, and started laughing in triumph, “She was innocent, you can’t just randomly yell at people. I know you are angry because of the ring that Joshua bought for me, but, I mean, he likes me.”
Then, both of them saw that Abigail was coming back with Mrs. Caunter.
“You can’t even compete with her, what is the use of you being Joshua’s fiance, if you can’t even compete with a maid.”
Harry has made Annie really angry this time, she stood up and went straight to Abigail to smack her across the face, “Are you blind or what? Where is your head? Are you not afraid that Granny is going to trip over something? You know exactly that she can’t walk properly, why don’t you just support her then?”
Abigail was holding her face in pain, she didn’t understand why Annie was so angry. She never cared about Mrs. Caunter, so it was weird what was happening right now. Abigail looked at Annie, her eyes were showing dissatisfaction with her.
“What are you staring at? If you don’t do your work well this is what you get!” She has almost lost her mind because of Harry, and let all of her anger out on Abigail, she threw a warning look at Harry, that showed that she was the master of this house.
“You bad bad woman, you just hit Abigail!” Mrs. Caunter saw what happened, and started to scratch Annie, and hit her, which made her step away for a bit.
“Oh, no!” Annie was so annoyed that she pushed Mrs. Caunter in return, who fell really hard on the floor.
“Granny!” Abigail immediately forgot about the pain on her own face, and ran towards Mrs. Caunter.
“Go away, you are the reason that she fell!” Annie stepped closer to Abigail, and pushed her away, she didn’t allow her to get close to Mrs. Caunter, and helped her up personally.
“I am going to beat you! So hard!” Mrs. Caunter was hitting Annie while she was holding her back.
“You old witch, if you don’t stop, I am going to pinch you again!” Annie couldn’t hold back anymore and said that to Mrs. Caunter, but only loud enough for her to hear.
Abigail was very worried about Mrs. Caunter’s condition, and tried to get closer to her, but Annie was in between. She was pushed really hard by her before, and she felt that she had hit her stomach, and not it was bothering her, but because of her baby, she couldn’t take any risks.
She could only say to Annie, “Miss Annie, I think Granny is hurt, let me check her please.”
“Who the fuck are you to even talk to me.” Annie replied, she didn’t care at all about Mrs. Caunter, and pulled her behind herself.
Harry was watching this whole scene from the near far, and even checked her make up while doing so.
“Well, you guys continue, I am going to get changed, later me and Joshua are going for dinner.” She got up and took her little LV bag, then she went to the stairs, but said to her guards, “You guy just need to make sure I am safe, everything else is none of your business, did you hear me?”

Mrs. Caunter was admitted to the hospital because of an injury on her back, and Abigail was with her, waiting for the doctors to update her on the condition, only when they told her that nothing major happened, she felt a little better.
“I know that she did this on purpose, to get Granny hurt!” Stacy was standing right next to Annie, and showed that she was with her, while pushing all the blame on Abigail.
Joshua’s expression was very serious, and his eyes were looking towards Abigail, while Abigail shook her head innocently, “It wasn’t me, you can ask Granny, I didn’t push her.”
“Ask Granny? You already have her wrapped around your fingers, who knows what is going on in her head, she will say anything you tell her to!” Stacy replied to her immediately, and Annie was smiling in triumph, showing that Abigail was defeated.
“But…” Abigail’s eyes looked around and saw Harry who was standing on the side.
“I didn’t see anything, it was too messy, I have no idea what happened to Granny.” Harry talked her way out of the situation, and looked at Annie for a long time.
“You…” Abigail couldn’t help herself anymore, Joshua’s expression was clear enough, showing her that he believed everything Annie told him.
“I am Joshua’s fiance, and Granny’s granddaughter in law, I would never do anything to hurt my family.” Annie added, and quickly got the confirmation from Stacy.
“You, get out with me!” Joshua demanded form Abigail, and turned to leave the room.
Abigail was feeling really bad, she decided that she would tell Joshua about what happened, so she followed him out.
“It really wasn’t me.” She said to his back, trying to explain.
Joshua turned and stared at her for more than a minute, then he humphed, “Do you think I will believe you?”
“But…” Abigail felt the sky falling down on her, and the whole world was dragged into darkness. Why was no one willing to listen to the truth she was telling, but everyone was believing the shit that Annie was telling?
“You got someone who has a mental disability to believe you, and that is really something you have gained. What is it that my father has planned this time? To hit me using his own mother?”
His fists were clenched in his pocket, while his voice was calm, as if he was just having a chat with her.
“What your father is doing has nothing to do with me!” She was really angry now, she had no idea why Joshua always tried to put her and his father in a relation, and she wanted to defend herself.
Abigail’s angry voice made Joshua’s eyes lit up, he never expected the docile Abigail to actually get angry.
Joshua looked towards the ceiling, and gave her a chance to explain herself.
“I didn’t push Granny.” Abigail said again, her eyes were determined, and nodded her head, making it hard for anyone not to believe her words.
But, Joshua wasn’t planning on believing her, there were too many woman who tried to trick him, and they all used the same trying to convince him, just like Abigail, they all had a warm appearance.
He took her as a joke, but nodded his head, making her think he believed her, then he took her little hand, and pulled her towards himself.
“And now, why don’t you just admit that this was all a conspiracy, just say it, maybe I will forgive you!”
Bamm.
Joshua’s big hand slapped Abigail across the face, and quickly, there were the marks of five fingers swelling up on her cheek.
Annie and Stacy who were listening on the side quickly stepped back, and Harry who was sitting on a bed in the ward started to smile.
“If Joshua knew the truth, god only knows what would happen.”
Stacy looked at her in disdain, and said between her teeth, “Oh you just shut up, I am already fed up with you. Get the hell out of here.”
Annie didn’t say anything this time, but she was staring at Harry with her sharp eyes, communicating with her. Harry was right, if Joshua knew that it was Annie, he would punish her without even thinking about it. She was scared but at the same time also surprised that Harry didn’t say anything.
“Okay, I am really busy, you guys stay here and keep an eye on Granny.” Harry said and took her bag, leaving the ward.
“Stupid!” Stacy humphed, and turned her body towards Joshua, “I really wanna see how he is going to punish her today.”
Because of her pushing Mrs. Caunter and not having the guts to admit it, Abigail was locked up in the backyard. It was a dark place, and she could only grope with her hands that she was in a cage.
