Samson heard a feminine laugh come from the right, and he recognized the voice immediately… Maddison, he thought. She usually spent a lot of time with Jacob.
He turned around, and behold he was right. Maddison sat on a stool laughing at some silly shit the man beside her had just whispered in her ear. Samson’s eyes settled on the man beside her. It was the man he had come to find, and he would be dammed if he didn’t complete his mission.
He headed straight for Jacob Saunders, who looked up and grinned mischievously when he saw Samson approaching.
“Hey man” Jacob said, “I seem to be seeing you almost every where I go lately. If I didn’t know better, I would say you were stalking me. You’re not developing feelings for me or anything like that right, are you?”
He laughed and Maddison and some other of the vampires who heard him laughed too.
The laughter ceased immediately Samson got to Jacob, because he didn’t give him a chance to speak, but he gave him a hard punch that sent him flying out of his stool. Maddison screamed and stepped aside but Samson ignored her as she scrambled for safety. He went after Jacob again and gave him another blow which landed on his jaw
This time some of Jacob’s friends tried to get involved, but in a few seconds, Mark and Raymond blocked their path.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you” Raymond said calmly to them. There was a look in his eyes that made the other guys step back. Everyone knew Raymond was quiet. But they also knew how deadly and fatal a fight with him could get. Raymond sometimes acted like he had no emotions, and none of them wanted to get in his way.
“They clearly have some unfinished business” Mark added, “So let us allow them fix it in their own way, shall we?”
The other guys stepped back, and Mark turned around just in time to see Samson charge at Jacob again, but this time, Jacob fought back. His blow caught Samson in the head. But Samson seemed to be so charged and he lunged at Jacob again, almost as if he could feel nothing. What ever Jacob did, it must have pissed the hell out of Samson, Mark thought, as he realized that it had been a while since saw Samson get that angry towards anyone or anything. Lately Samson seemed not to care much about anything, and Mark couldn’t quite understand this delevopment. The fight was getting heated, as both men clawed at each other. The other vampire’s were clearly enjoying the fight as they could be heard laughing and spuring them on.
Samson grabbed a stool which he slammed on one of the pillars, breaking the stool, which fell to a few pieces, then he grabbed one of wooden pieces which had formed a sharp edge and could be used as a stake.
Mark immediately knew what Samson’s intention was, and he knew that this was no longer just a fight. He was going to kill Jacob. Now that was too far. Samson didn’t kill people, and he definitely wasn’t thinking straight. He had to stop his friend
Using his vamp speed, he rushed to Samson, blocking his path and lifting a hand to stop him.
Samson paused so as not to Hurt his friend, but he still looked determined to fulfill his mission. “Get out of my way, Mark.” he said. His eyes had turned red, and his nostrils flared. There were veins around him eyes and a visible vein throb on his forehead. His fangs were protruding from his mouth. Pointy, sharp fangs like those of an animal. Like a Sabertooth tiger. Giving him a deadly, monstrous look.
“Get out of my way Mark!” Samson repeated. The tightness in the face stretched into a snarl but Mark would let him pass.
“You have to put down the stake, man” Mark replied, “Trust me, you do not want to do this”
Samson gritted his teeth. “You see, Mark, that’s where you are wrong. I do want to do this. I want to kill him. I have been wanting to kill him for a very long time, and we both know that that world would be a much better place without him”
Mark put a hand forward, trying his best to calm Samson down. “I know man. I know. But you don’t want to do this. Give me the stake.”
Samson did calm down, but he didn’t hand over the weapon. His fangs slid back inside his mouth, and his eyes returned back to their normal color. He moved past Mark and took a few steps towards Jacob who was wiping the blood from his mouth, but the grin remained on his face, irritating Samson even more.
“You have been wanting to pick fights with me for a while now” Jacob said, “Do I really get under your skin that much? I bet you loose a lot of sleep just thinking about me”
Samson ignored that comment and pointed the stake he was still holding at him. “This is the first and the last time I’m going to say this, Saunders. Stay away from her”
“Stay the hell away from who, you bastard?” Jacob thundered. “I have no idea who you are talking about. And all this shit was over a woman? I don’t rate you much, Samson, but even this is below you. At least I thought so. Who the fuck are you talking about anyway?”
“The waitress from the bar yesterday. The one you followed and attacked.” Samson replied, and nodded his head as he registered the look on Jacob’s face. “Yes, that one” he continued. “Stay the hell away from her. I will not warn you again. If any harm comes to her because of your stupidity, I will kill you and I mean it, Saunders. I will kill you and I won’t think twice about it.”
Jacob scoffed, “All this drama for a fragile human. Come on, Samson, she’s a goddamn human”
“Yes she is, and you are not worth a single hair on her head” Samson cut in.
“I will do what ever I want to. I will feed on her if I want to. Probably kill her even now that I know exactly how it’s going to make you feel” Jacob replied.
