“How dare you beat me? I will call the police!” Martin bursts with shame and anger. He raises himself from the ground and takes out his phone.
Lawrence slightly blinks and sneers, “I didn’t sue you for interrupting our marriage. I don’t know how you have the nerve to call the police.”
“Nancy, you still love me, right? Your marriage with this guy is just a trick to rile me; you just want me to punish me by letting me experience the same sufferings, right?”
Lawrence walks over and reaches out his hand to block Martin, while Nancy stands still and looks at Martin. She loved him so much before that she even lost her head, but now it turns out he is such a scum.
The feelings of bitter disappointment and sadness surge forward at her heart.
Actually, she didn’t love him long time ago. But she didn’t expect that he would have gone too far.
“Martin Evans, I don’t mind the things happened in the past. You can regard me as a fool. But this fool will not have the same mistake again. Just give you and us an out and stop messing up. It’s good for all of us.” Nancy looks at Martin. She says it out bluntly. If he keeps pestering them, he is doomed to suffer.
“No, Nancy, I know I was wrong. Please come back to me. Please!” Martin shouts emotionally, casting off Lawrence’s hand and reaching it to Nancy.
Lawrence is completely flared up and gives him another overarm throw as well as some fierce pounds. Martin falls on the ground and keeps yowling.
Nancy is stunned. All she can see is this handsome and brave knight Lawrence. He gets angry because of her and hits Martin to take revenge for her. Damn, he looks so attracting at this moment.
As she seeing him beating Martin and then turns around and walks towards her, her cheeks are flushed and her heart thuds madly against her ribs.
Lawrence slowly holds up her hand and takes her to the reception table, and then says to the dumbfounded working staff, “I am willing to marry Nancy Moore and will never leave or forsake her in the rest of my life!”
Nancy smiles and says, “So do I.”
Martin, who is lying on the ground behind them, yowls in pain, “I don’t agree, I don’t agree.”
The working staff hands the sealed marriage certificates to them, “Congratulations! I declare that you two are legitimate couple now.
“Nancy, bitch! I will not let you off easily. You can just wait!” Martin raises himself from the ground, cursing with black-and-blue face.
Nancy and Lawrence totally ignore Martin. They take the marriage certificates and walk out of the Civil Affair’s Bureau hand in hand, smiling.
When they walk out of the door, they can still hear the wailing of Martin from behind.
They get into the car. Lawrence leans over and helps her to wear the seat belt. Nancy is so nervous and dares not to move. She can smell the faint smell of green grass from him. And then she suddenly recalls the thinks happened that night, her face suddenly gets red.
Lawrence just finishes fastening Nancy’s seat belts. When he looks up, he knocks into her perplexed and dodging eyes. He can’t help smiling and gently leans over to touch her nose with his.
Nancy feels that her heart is thudding madly against her ribs. She subconsciously closes her eyes to greet his kiss.
However, after waiting for a long time, she finally finds that Lawrence doesn’t have any movement. She opens his eyes and finds that he is smiling. “Are you waiting for my kiss?” asks Lawrence.
“No. How could…Hmm…Hmm…” The rest words die in her mouth because of the kiss. Nancy feels speechless. This guy is enjoying paying jokes on her; he would only let go of her until she is extremely embarrassed.
He also likes to kiss her with her permission and watch her changing from resisting to enjoying. Maybe that would give him a sense of achievement?
