Before leaving, Edward said something to Leo. Leo was so angry, his arms akimbo, threatening to withhold Edward’s salary for one month.
Edward left the crowd of people behind, leading Susan to the underground parking lot.
At about 8 o’clock, Edward drove her to the bus station.
“Next week is my holiday, I’m gonna come to Shanghai again.”
“Okay.”
“You’re not allowed to look at other female fans.”
“Alright.”
“After going back, you must train harder, get up on time, eat on time and go to bed on time.”
“Okay.”

“Tsk.” Susan showered a lot of words on Edward, but he didn’t even turn over his head giving a glance to her. She found it boring, but suddenly the more she thought about it, the more she felt annoying.
Getting out of the car, Susan already kept a straight face.
Edward stopped the car, he just spent a little time taking something from the boot, but Susan had already left him far behind.
“Hey,” Edward called her.
Susan stopped, turning around and she said pettishly, “Why!”
She saw Edward move step by step closer to her, he looked at her with a warm smile as usual, but she got irritated at him suddenly. “It’s ok! I can go back myself.”
Unexpectedly, Edward didn’t take his steps to stop as he passed her, but he just went straight ahead.
“Hey!” Susan trotted to catch up with him. “I told you that I can walk myself, you can just go back to your base.”
Lowering his head, Edward suddenly reached for Susan’s hand and they walked toward the ticket office, hand in hand.
Susan saw a snicker play around the corners of his mouth. This man didn’t say a word along the way, what was he snickering about?
He walked toward the automatic ticket vending machine, standing in front of it for a while.
When Susan saw Edward clip a bus ticket between his two slender fingers, she opened her eyes wide in surprise.
Edward only spoke his first words right now, “I’ve bought the ticket, you can’t drive me back.”
“You…?” Susan gaped her mouth in surprise for a moment, understanding that Edward felt like returning to Black City with her.
“We’re about to check in, don’t you take out your ticket?” Edward looked at Susan who was in a daze, tapping her softly on her forehead.
“Do you really want to go back with me?” Susan confirmed with him again.
The corners of Edward’s mouth curved up, he beamed at Susan as if he was saying, ‘Well duh!’
Susan threw herself into Edward’s arm so vigorously that he was knocked to take a couple of steps backward. The people around exclaimed, but he just smiled, raising his hand and patting Susan’s back gently.
Susan hugged Edward tightly just like an octopus. Before she left his bosom, she rubbed her nasal mucus and her tears on Edward.
“Let’s go,” Edward gazed at her.
In the old days, Susan always felt that it would take a long time when she sat in the bus; a few days ago, when she sat in the bus heading to Shanghai, her heart was even filled with mixed feelings.
If two years ago, Shanghai was a scar on Susan’s heart. She didn’t want to think about it or touch it, and seldom set foot on the land of this place.
But now, she had been reunited with Edward while Shanghai was also traced with the special marks.
A hand pushed Susan’s head toward his shoulder.
Edward touched her forehead with his lips softly, said, “I’ve hated you before.”
His voice came from the top of her head, the word of ‘Hate’ like a heavy stone pressed down heavily on her, inhibiting her from speaking.
“I hate you for not having a trace of nostalgia for me. You deleted all the contact information among us, even blocked me as your friend in the game,” Edward looked at the night view outside the car window, so Black City was also his sore point.
“I didn’t expect you to leave me without any hesitation, your resolution makes me wonder if you have never loved me.” Edward said in a muffled voice, lowering his eyes, and the thick shade almost overwhelmed his eyes. “But I’m the one who leave first, so I told myself that I have no right to hate you.”
