It was another lonely and silent journey.
Fay away was Kepler 55 from Epsilon Eridani, and humans had to pass by several systems, so they had to be alert.
People were all depressed and tired by being forced to run away again and again.
That was just why people were calm as the water drop was about to kill them all.
Now, they didn’t care much about if they could survive.
Chase and other top leaders had investigated, but they had no ideas.
The hopelessness of finding a new planet made people upset so much.
Chase could use robots to replace ordinary people to do some easy works, but Chase had no idea about the leaders’ low spirits.
That was just what Chase worried much.
Chase and some scientists preferred to develop humans by robbing other civilizations and were willing to sacrifice their generations to build a highly advanced civilization.
Only civilization at level six had the right to negotiate with others and asked for a place to live.
But ordinary people liked living on the ground.
What was more, humans had experienced a new planet but was forced to run away from there.
The most sensitive matter was just they lost the thing that they made much effort to get it.
People were hopeless because they couldn’t make sure if they could live on a new planet even it was suitable.
Chase was anxious, but he had no idea.
Such a situation couldn’t be changed by words unless something could distract people’s attention.
No one knew if Kepler 55 was a suitable planet, and humans could really live on it at no risk.
Chase always pondered as he looked at the dark space outside.
Suddenly, some workers ran over in a hurry. Chase was nervous. “What’s up? Is there any problem with our ships?”
The worker was excited. “No! Mr. President. It’s a message! We received some strange messages, and through the decoding, it’s from another civilization!”
Chase hurriedly followed those workers to find Dasin.
Dasin told Chase the details.
Most scientists were devoted to studying Luca’s technologies, so no one could decode the messages.
The computer could only analyze the structures, but it couldn’t finger out the meanings.
“Mr. President! The origin of the messages is approaching us! Their speed…”
“Their speed is at least twice faster than the light.”
“They may be at the same level as us, or higher.” Dasin analyzed.
Human speed was the fastest at this stage. The wormhole technologies were too strict, so they couldn’t develop it in a short time.
At least, only the civilization at level five could develop such technologies.
“So, civilization keeping the same power as ours is speeding to us, right?” Chase asked.
“Yes, we don’t know if it’s a friend or enemy, and how exactly great their power is, so we have to prepare for the worst,” Dasin suggested.
“You’re right. Keep detecting that civilization, and try to send them some messages to warn them.” Then Chase contacted Phil and asked him to make preparation for the war.
