“What!” Both Delorna and Alpha Jefferson were surprised.
“What bad timing, I told you not to ever show up in my life.” Emily spat.
“I’m sorry I know but I just couldn’t help it, I fall so deeply in love with you after the nightstand and since from there I started searching for you everywhere, I owned a lot of companies around the state so it wasn’t hard for me to trace your friend.” The guy answered.
“So are you telling me you are rich? Such a brat, what’s even your name?” Emily asked.
“Woah, you both don’t know each other’s name? Great.” Delorna chuckled.
“I’m Liam, but I already knew your name because your friend told me, she also told me you were pregnant,” Liam said.
“I was, but I just gave birth,” Emily replied.
“Really? That’s even greater, where is the baby? I want to hug her I want to give her the best gift in life I will be the best father.” Liam exclaimed anxiously.

“Okay, but I will have to be in this palace till Delorna give birth and I will have to stay here till her baby grow so he will get used to me,” Emily replied.

“No no, I will have to give birth first lover boy, Emily, haven’t I told you, a wedding will happen soon, I never thought it will come this fast,” Delorna replied and everyone laughed.
“Baby, I think we should allow them to do some catching and you Abigail, you are the only single soul here, go get a man.”
Alpha Jefferson chuckled, she frowned.
“Don’t you worry, when I will bring my man, he will be million times more handsome than you all?” Abigail replied.
“Are you sure a million is not too much?”
Delorna laughed.
“Okay, a thousand,” Abigail said and they all laughed.
They all left the room leaving Emily and Liam alone.
“I’m sorry for not being there for you throughout your pregnancy and I’m sorry we lost our baby,” Liam said.
“It’s okay, Delorna took good care of me and I’m glad the baby is gone, I want to hearty love my next baby because I love her dad not because I want to use her to blackmail someone,” Emily replied.
“You really do have a good heart.”
Liam said.
“It’s because you have no idea what I did in the past, I’m sure you won’t want to look at my face again,” Emily replied.
Liam held her hand.
“I do not care about your past, and I won’t judge you with your past, all I care about is the bright future we have together,” Liam said and kissed her, and she kissed him back.
“I love you so much,” Liam added.
“I… I love you too.” Emily replied.
“Really? You love me?” Liam asked excitedly.
“Yeah I do, I mean you are not badly looking.” Emily chuckled.
“So if I was ugly You won’t have loved me?”
Liam asked.
“Not sure but I definitely love handsome guys, I’m not ugly too so why should I love someone that is ugly?” Emily answered.
“You are funny but in a good way,” Liam said and embraced Emily.
For the first time ever, she feel wanted and loved without blackmailing or forcing anyone to love her, she felt so good.

4 MONTHS LATER
Liam and Emily already had gotten married and as she promised, she still lives in the palace taking care of Delorna who is very heavy now.
She will give birth in some weeks’ time, Alpha Jefferson took really good care of her, and Liam is just like the best godfather coz he couldn’t stop showering gifts on Delorna’s unborn baby, Emily had told him how much Delorna took care of her ignoring all her conspiracies and he felt the only way to pay her back was to show unconditional love to her baby, which Emily is always supporting.

Delorna was asleep when she started smelling smoke, Alpha Jefferson was in his study room as sometimes Delorna’s got crazy mood swings that Won’t want him in her room with her.
Delorna opened her mouth and saw herself trapped in the middle of the fire.
“Jeff! Jeff! Help!” She screamed but a Shadow appeared wearing a hoodie a very black hoodie.
“Who are you!” Delorna yelled.
He didn’t reply rather he started walking closer to her.
“Help me, please help me.” Delorna pleaded.
“Shiii, no one will help you and I’m not here to help you, I’m here to make your husband pay for the past mistakes he made.” The hoodie man said.
“Who are you? And why do you want to hurt me? Can’t you see I’m pregnant?”
Delorna asked.
“You been pregnant for Jefferson is what makes to enjoy killing you because killing you and this bastard is like killing Jefferson himself, don’t bother to scream because you will definitely not survive.”
The hoodie man answered.
Delorna started coughing really hard.
“Moon goddess please protect my baby.”
Delorna prayed inside her before she started feeling dizzy, her eyes turning blurry and she fall on the floor and her eyes closed.
The hoodie man carried her on his shoulder and climbed the rope he fixed through her window.
