Chapter 19: WALKED UPON

Book:MATED TO THE LYCAN Published:2024-6-2

All this while the intense battle between their lips didn’t stop. The pleasure was too intense for DeLorna as she couldn’t help but moan continuously.
By now the bed was already in a mess but the two could care less about it. DeLorna’s clothes were also in a mess but who cares.
During their intense passionate kissing, the door to the ward opened and a man came in.
it was the doctor who was clad in a white coat and froze in shock seeing the scene before him. He didn’t know what to do. Should he quietly turn around and pretend he didn’t see anything or he should interrupt the two? He didn’t know. He racked his brain looking for an answer but didn’t get one.
During this time the two didn’t notice that a third party was with them in the room and continued to kiss passionately and even wanted to take it to the next step.
Seeing this the doctor who was thinking of what to do suddenly coughed. He realized if he didn’t stop the two would end up making out completely right here in the ward and it wasn’t safe. What if a nurse or another person walked in on them? Though what they were doing wasn’t wrong as they were mates and we’re entitled to each other he felt they should stop and shouldn’t take it to the next level.
“Cough!” He coughed slightly.
But the two were so engrossed in what they were doing that they didn’t hear the slight cough of the doctor.
Seeing this the doctor’s face turned red and immediately he coughed louder.
“Cough.”
“Cough.”
He coughed twice but each time was louder than the other.
Immediately the two realized there was a third party in the room who had entered without their knowledge and quickly separated.
Jefferson turned around wanting to scold the intruder but on seeing it was the doctor he didn’t talk and smiled wryly.
Meanwhile, DeLorna’s face turned red in embarrassment.
“I’m sorry for interrupting you two but I have to check up on her.” The doctor said walking towards DeLorna.
“You can go on,” Jefferson replied.
The doctor nodded and walked toward DeLorna checking if she was alright.
After some minutes he smiled and turned to Jefferson. “You can go back with her and continue what you were doing earlier. She’s alright now.” He smiled.
Immediately DeLorna heard his words her face turned red in embarrassment again as she glared at Jefferson. He was the one who lured her into the act.
Jefferson saw DeLorna glaring at him and couldn’t help but smile wryly. Why was she glaring at him? He thought. But well he wasn’t bothered about it anyway.
“Should I help you to lock the door or I should leave it open.” The doctor said as she was going out of the ward making DeLorna’s face already red even become redder.
“Get out!” Jefferson said in embarrassment as he glared at the doctor who had used the situation to make fun of them.
“Want to go back to my room?” Jefferson smiled looking at DeLorna.
“No, you aren’t going to carry me. Have got my legs and I’m gonna walk. Also, you’ve got to give me my room,” DeLorna replied, jumping down from the bed. She could feel strange energy cruising through her body and she felt delightful.
Jefferson sighed and didn’t say anything. He knew his mate was stubborn and wouldn’t listen to any of his arrangements no matter what he said.
“When are you taking me back to see my mum?” DeLorna who had walked to the door suddenly stopped and turned around asking Jefferson.
“she could go now if you wish,” Jefferson smiled.
“But this cloth of mine isn’t good enough,” DeLorna muttered.
“Then go change,” Jefferson replied walking to the door.
DeLorna nodded and walked outside of the hospital.
Immediately she saw the surroundings, she gasped in surprise. The last time she had seen it was at night so seeing it in the daytime was even more breathtaking than the view she saw at night.
“Let’s go don’t forget it’s almost a six hours drive to your place,” Jefferson said, jolting DeLorna out of her thoughts.
He would have taken her in his lycanthrope form but she had insisted on using the pack’s driver.
Also, she had asked him to tag along so he would be able to meet her mother.
Though he wasn’t comfortable with meeting DeLorna’s mother. DeLorna had sworn not to talk to him for a month if he refused to follow her. Considering how stubborn she was he was sure she meant every word of hers so he couldn’t afford to anger her.
Soon they got to Jefferson’s room and DeLorna changed after chasing Jefferson out of the room. Though he had tried to argue that since she was his mate that she could change in his front but DeLorna was hearing none of it and made sure she chased Jefferson out of the room before she changed.
Her actions made Jefferson rather confused as he could only smile wryly at DeLorna’s actions.
Soon DeLorna came out of the room dressed in black jeans and a white top with her hair tied into a bun.
Jefferson couldn’t help but gawk at DeLorna’s hot figure which made DeLorna roll her eyes at him.
“Let’s go,” she said, walking past Jefferson and making him gawk at her even more.
Jefferson sighed and quickly recovered after DeLorna left.
Before going after her he looked toward his sister’s room and sighed. He was sure she wasn’t in at the moment because if she was inside she would have come out to make things difficult for DeLorna.
Jefferson sighed again and followed her. He was looking forward to a boring six hours plus ride to DeLorna’s home at the same time thinking of a way to convince DeLorna to allow him to use his lycanthrope form to take her. He wondered why she was so stubborn.
