“Tell us what you mean or do you want to suffer some more.” One of the hunters pointed his gun at the figure.
“Even if you don’t force me I’ll tell you.” The figure lying on the floor said, groaning in pain.
“You are about to be attacked by the two most powerful beings in our world. They are practically invincible. So once you encounter them you are bound to die. There’s no escape for you.” The figure coughed out blood as he managed to say.
“Wow that’ll be nice, I would be looking forward to a fight.” One of the hunters said.
“And you’ll get one.” A voice suddenly drifted over to their ears.
Immediately the hunters became high on alert as they cocked their guns.
Abigail and Jefferson who had followed the figure had transformed back to their human form watching the scene unfolding.
But on hearing one of the hunter’s replies after the explanation of the figure who they had captured Jefferson’s pride was hurt and he was forced to reply transforming back to his lycanthrope while walking out of the bushes.
Immediately the hunters saw Jefferson in his lycanthrope form they all raised their cocked guns and pointed them at Jefferson who smiled while in his lycanthrope form. A smile etched on the face of the big creature.
Do you think those toys are enough to take him down?
Abigail suddenly laughed waking out of her hiding place with the robe wrapped around her body.
“Who are you?” The hunters immediately pointed their guns at Abigail.
“I’m his elder sister. I’m here just to watch the fun, I’m not here to partake in it. Though he’s a lot stronger than me,” Abigail said.
“Hey, you! Haven’t I said I’ll remove your intestines and feed them to you,” Abigail continued with a smirk facing the hunter who had run away earlier.
“Just shoot them, there’s no way they wouldn’t become weak if the bullet touched them.” One of the hunters said to the others as they cocked their guns and shot.
But immediately Jefferson and Abigail disappeared scaring the shit out of the hunters.
Soon shouts and screams were heard everywhere as a gruesome scene followed. Blood spattered, head and another part of the human body rolled on the floor.
Some of the bodies were mutilated beyond description as they were bloody marks and all others on it.
Jefferson in his lycanthrope form was rather relieved that DeLorna wasn’t here to witness the scene.
The gruesome scene was even more terrifying than the first one.
After killing all the hunters Abigail and Jefferson disappeared without saying a word to the figure lying in pain on the floor.
Soon they got back to where DeLorna was.
Jefferson, who hadn’t transformed back to his human form, took her with his huge paws and sped back to the pack with Abigail.
Getting to the pack he took his mate straight to the hospital in the packing.
After handing her to a doctor who would take care of her wounds he disappeared again.
The pack members already knew Jefferson in his lycanthrope form. So they already knew who it was when they saw him in his lycanthrope form.
Jefferson sped back to his room. After changing back to human he entered the bathroom to shower Washing off the smell of blood as he was reeking of blood.
Coming out of the bathroom he liked his wardrobe and looked for something to wear.
This was the second time he was changing his clothes because he had ripped them off while transforming.
After dressing, he went back to the hospital.
Getting there the doctors had already started taking care of DeLorna and assured him that she would be well and that her unconscious state was a result of loss of blood and that she would wake up once the blood had been replenished.
Jefferson sighed in relief hearing this. He thought something might have happened to his mate as he had left her for quite some time.
He sat near her bed holding her hands while looking at her face. He was still mesmerized by her beauty.
She was sure beautiful and she would always be in his eyes.
The leaders of the other packs saw Jefferson in this state of his they wouldn’t believe their eyes.
They knew Jefferson to be someone cold and had no compassion. But here he was, his gazing was loving and full of compassion.

Abigail went to her room when she got back to the pack not bothering to go check up on Jefferson.
Entering her room she threw the robe she was wearing aside revealing the endowed scenes.
If men were here they were sure to have a nosebleed as they wouldn’t be able to take their eyes off her body.
Entering the bathroom Abigail showered, washing off the blood that had been splattered on her body.
Coming out of the bathroom she searched the wardrobe looking for nightwear.
After some minutes of searching, she found nightwear and put it on before lying on the bed glancing at the ceiling.
she hadn’t expected something like that to happen. She had been looking forward to a night full of sleep but she couldn’t get to sleep.
All thanks to her brother who had suddenly said he found his mate and had brought her back to the pack and also to the hunters who had attacked a member of their pack.
The issues were so much that it was almost daybreak now.
She had to sleep even if it was just a little.
Though there was nothing she was doing even if she didn’t wake up early, the thought of missing the planned party made her want to sleep.
She could not afford to miss the party as it was very important.
Also, she had to plan how to make Jefferson’s mate leave Jefferson as she didn’t want to see them together.
she didn’t know if it was jealousy or something else. She could only sigh as she closed her eyes waiting for sleep to take her away.
