She was walking faster and furiously to her room. She met with Lucian before she got to the room, he was coming from their room too and they met on the way. She had tears in her eyes and she crashed into him in a hug, sobbing profusely. He held her tight, not knowing what was going on and not knowing what to say. He just stood there with her in his arms, caressing her back gently. She cried a flood of tears and his night robe was wet with her tears. She finally stopped crying and he cupped her face in his hands and drew their faces closer so that they were looking at each other.
“What happened? Talk to me.” He asked curiously.
She opened her mouth to say it but she could not, she broke down again, crying. He held her bridal style and he took her to their room. He did not know or understand what was happening, he only woke up because of her screaming. He thought she was in danger and he ran out to see what it was. He took her to the bed and laid her down, by the time they were in the room, she had stopped crying and she was only sobbing silently. He laid her down and went to the other side of the bed and lay next to her and he took his hands and wrapped them around her body. She slowly stopped sobbing too and just laid there silently.
“She is missing.” She finally said.
Lucian was puzzled. He did not speak.
“Kiara is missing.” She said again.
Realization dawned on him. He had so many questions to ask but he did not, he just lay there quietly, listening to her. She did not speak again, she stood up from the bed and went into the closet to get her things. She started to pack up and Lucian came in to help her. They finished packing after a while and she went back to bed and lay there, quietly. She slowly drifted off to sleep.

She was in a dark room. The darkness was so thick that she could see nothing. The room was silent too and she wondered why. She looked around but she could not see anything, it was too dark. She did not know what happened or how it happened but she began to call out her daughter’s name. She shouted it and each time she called there would be a response. A moan, like someone, was in pain. She continued calling out and she got the same response each time. A moan.
Suddenly, she could see the room begin to light up. No, it was not the whole room. The part where she stood was still in darkness and the other side began to light up. She could see what was there on the other side of the room now. It was Kiara. She was bonded in chains and she knelt down. Her face and body were full of bruises and cuts. She hung her head down and when she raised it, Alexia could see blood trickling down the sides of her mouth. She looked pale and tired.
Alexia scream at the sight that her eyes befell and she fell to her knees.
“Kiara!!” She shouted.
She got the same response from the girl. A moan. Alexia stood up and made to walk to where Kiara was but there was an invincible barrier and Alexia could not access Kiara. Alexia started crying and then suddenly, a lady came behind Kiara where she was kneeling. The woman wore a black flowing dress just like Alexia but her face could not be seen. It was covered with darkness. Alexia stood up when she saw the woman.
“Who are you? Release my daughter at once!” Alexia asked and commanded.
The woman laughed mockingly.
“We meet again, dear Alexia.” The woman said and laughed again.
When the woman spoke, she raised her hand and Alexia could see a sword. A bright, sparkling, sharp sword. Alexia’s heart skipped a beat. She silently prayed that it should not be what she was thinking. Her eyes acted on their own and tears began to run down her cheeks. Alexia had no choice and she knelt down.
“Please, don’t. Please.” Alexia begged.
At once, the woman raised the sword and in a split second, she brought it down. Blood splattered everywhere and Kiara’s head came rolling on the ground. Alexia gave out a shriek and then, a wail. Her heart broke into pieces as she saw her daughter’s head severed from her body and on the ground. She growled loudly and Hertha howled.

She woke up with a scream on her lips. Lucian jumped up too. She looked around the room and it was their room back at the Lycans clan. It was only a dream. But she knew she had to find her, Kiara was in danger and she knew she needed to do something. Anything. She buried her face in her palms and wept again. Lucian stroked her back gently for comfort. She stopped crying and she stood up and walked out to the window and opened it, it was night already and the cool breeze brushed past her face, into the room. Lucian stood up from the bed too and walked to where she stood he rested his hands on her shoulder and massaged it for a little while. Alexia closed her eyes, she was enjoying the massage. She needed it.
“I need to find her.” She whispered.
“I know.” He replied.
Alexia felt weak and tired. She had already lost Gladys.
“I will be going back to the werewolf territory to look for her. She might be there.” She whispered again.
Lucian bent down and gave her a kiss on her neck.
“Come to bed.” He whispered back.
She walked reluctantly to the bed and lay on it. She could not sleep, she kept thinking about Kiara. The girl needed her. She did not sleep that night and when she was sure that it was dawn and she could travel, she took her luggage and left.
