“I want us to talk.” She said firmly.
He opened his eyes and sat properly. He turned to Alexia and stared lazily at her. His eyes reminded her of Lucian’s eyes.
“To talk about what?” He asked calmly.
“First things first, let’s start with this fine wine.” She whispered to him.
She took the bottle from the table and popped it open. It made a loud noise and Alexia cheered loudly.
“Does your husband know you are here?” He asked.
She laughed.
“Don’t worry Kai, he’s sleeping.”
She took a glass from the table and poured in the wine from the bottle. She took another glass and did the same, then she handed one of the glasses to Kai and he hesitated.
“Don’t worry. It’s not poisoned.” She said and laughed again.
He stretched his hands and collected the glass of wine from her.
“About your mother…” She started but he cut her off.
“What you did to her wasn’t cool and you must not do it again.” He growled at her.
Alexia raised her hands up in a sign of surrender and laughed.
“Okay. Okay. I would not do that to the Queen mother.” She said sarcastically and laughed.
“I wanted to actually apologize for my behaviour towards her. I apologize.” She said and sipped her wine.
“I will convey your message to her but you must not do that again.” He said sternly.
Alexia took her right hand up and kept the left hand on her chest.
“Never ever again,” she said sarcastically again and laughed.
“Why did you come again?” He said and took a sip of his own drink.
“I want us to iron things out.” She said and sipped her wine again.
“What things.” He sipped too.
“Why you came back.”
“I don’t owe you any explanation.” He sipped again.
She was watching him. He will soon doze off.
“You don’t deserve the throne.”
“And Lucian does?”
He scoffed mockingly.
“He killed his father…”
“To liberate the people. He didn’t do it for the throne”
“He is supposed to be there.”
“But I am.”
“What if he challenges you to a duel?”
He scoffed again and rolled his eyes.
“I would love to see him try.”
“You don’t think he will win?”
He drew closer to her face and squinted his eyes at her.
“He is weak!”
“And maybe I need a stronger man.”
She winked and took her bare foot to his shaft and pressed her foot on it gently. She could feel it bounce. She didn’t take her silver eyes off his dark ones all the while, she didn’t take her foot away either. He looked down at her beautiful long smooth legs and swallowed, his bulge began to form under Alexia’s foot.
“You could have him.” He whispered.
She licked her lips.
“Close your eyes.”
His brows knotted together suspiciously.
“Why?”
“I want to make your fantasy come through.”
He hesitated but he did.
“Don’t open them till I say so.”
She dipped her hands in her dress pocket and remove the bottle. A drop in his win. Another drop. She hurriedly kept it back and pulled her dress down. Exposing her breasts.
“Open them” she whispered and he did.
He looked at the two breasts in front of him and his eyes went wide with shock. He swallowed.
“Drink up let’s have fun.” She whispered again.
He took his glass of wine and gulped it all in. He stood up to walk towards her but, a thud. He fell on the ground with his face flat to the ground.
“That was quick.” She sounded impressed.
She wore her dress and stood up and walked out of the room to Lucian’s room. She opened the door and came in. He sat up when the door opened. He knew who it was. Alexia. And it was she.
“Is it done?” He asked curiously.
“Yes, your Majesty.” She said seductively.
Lucian smiled and motioned for her to come to him. She did and he pulled her in for a deep, fierce and aggressive kiss. When the kiss was broken, Lucian spoke.
“Who’s your king now?” He whispered.
“You are.” Alexia moaned and whispered.
They both laughed.
They both lay on the bed, hands wrapped around each other and they slept off. Cuddling.
The next morning, Lucian and Alexia woke up late. They woke up and took turns bathing and dressing up. When they were done, they went downstairs, expecting to be blown away by the news of the death of the lycan king. Kai. But the whole palace seemed to be busy and normal as usual. Alexia was puzzled, and so was Lucian.
What was happening?
They ignored everyone and went ahead to the dining room and when they got there, Alexia almost fell on Lucian. She held Lucian’s hands for support. She was shocked to the marrow. Even Lucian was. Lucian aided her to the seat and he sat next to her.
When they got to the dining room, he was there. Kai was sitting on the first chair, already eating breakfast. By his side sat Selene, his mother. He was supposed to be dead. Alexia sat down for the meal but could not eat, she was playing with her food. She lost her appetite. So did Lucian.
“Hello baby brother, you finally decided to crawl out of your denial and dark hole,” Kai spoke after a while and the duo sat down.
Alexia looked at him. He spoke too. It was a big sign that he was still alive. He was well and kicking. She wondered if Amanda lied to her and gave her something less potent. Her heart sank into her stomach and she became extremely nervous. Lucian did not reply to Kai. He stood up to leave and Alexia stood up too and followed him. They walked till they got into their room. Lucian sat on the bed when he entered. He turned to look at Alexia.
“What happened?” He asked.
“I don’t know,” Alexia said sharply.
“Burt he is still alive.” Lucian’s voice rose.
“Keep your voice down.” Alexia hushed him.
