She sat beside him on the bed and took his hand into hers. His eyes widened a little bit and he was surprised at the action. She looked him deep in the eyes and dropped her head after a while. She rose again and made to leave but stopped at the door but she didn’t turn around.
“You’ve been unconscious for three days now and it will be better if you rest. An omega will bring your food and make sure to eat it.”
She opened the door and left. He laid back on the bed and breakfast was brought soon and he eat everything on the plate. He was starving already.
For three days, he slept in her bed, only getting out of bed to freshen up. The aftermath of going berserk was terrible, his whole body ached for three days and he ate more than usual.
*** ALEXIA’S POV ***
When she went back into the woods, she wrapped him up with the cloak and made to carry him but he was a big and heavy man and she could not carry him at first but she was strong too and she lifted him up after several attempts and walked all the way back to her house with him in her arms.
She got into her room and laid him on the bed. She sighed deeply and fell on him, she was tired and was panting heavily. She looked at him and he was looking terrible. He was a dirty sight. She called on an omega to clean him up but when they touched him, her heart squeezed and Hertha growled. She sent the omega away and cleaned him up herself. She lay on the bed beside him and spent her night there, she spent the night every day by his side on the bed.
The next day, she called on Vincent to check on him, Vincent was an old werewolf, he had lived for a hundred years and he would know what it was that was wrong with Lucian.
After checking the man, Vincent informed her that the Lycan had gone berserk, but he didn’t know why. She thanked him and dismissed him.
For three days, the Lycan prince was unconscious and she sat by his side watching over him every day. She didn’t know why she was so attached to the man but she convinced herself that it was because of his help. On the day he finally woke up, she was happy and had a lot of questions to ask but she hide her excitement and questions, he just woke up and needed to rest.
The man lay in bed for the next three days, having his meals in bed and only getting up when he needed to freshen up. She slept in the guest room for three days after he regained consciousness.

On the fourth day. He came out of her room for dinner and they ate in silence. After dinner, he asked to speak with her in private and they both left for her room. She got into her room and went to stand by the window, her favourite spot. He stood at the door and the room was silent.
“I’m sorry.” He finally spoke up. She didn’t turn around and still had her back on him.
“About what?” Her voice came out soft and low. He barely heard her.
“About everything, I attacked you in the woods and had to inconvenience you here too. But I really need to tell you something.”
She turned around this time and looked at him. Then she nodded for him to continue and he did. He took a deep breath in and out.
“I found out the day you walked through my door with your baby and asked for my help that you are my mate.”
He paused. Looked at her but he could not read her emotions. Her face was blank and void of any emotions. He rubbed his nape and dropped his head. He was expecting rejection, she was ambitious and would not take him.
“And just to be clear Alexia, I wasn’t attacking you in the woods. I went berserk because I was away from you for too long and only you could calm me down.”
She didn’t say anything. He was getting impatient and curious.
“Talk to me, Alexia.”
She started walking towards him, she stopped in front of him and looked him in the eyes. She cupped his face in her hands.
“Good night Lucian.”
She let go of him and walked to the door. She stood at the door and turned around.
“Get some sleep and more rest. You need it.” She opened the door and left.
He collapsed on the bed and covered his face with his hands. He wasn’t expecting her to jump on him and kiss him like it was no big deal. They had a lot of thinking to do. But he was not going to give up on her no matter what, he will win her over.
*** ALEXIA’S POV ***
She got into the guest room after the talk with Lucian and sat on the bed, she had a lot of thinking to do.
She was not surprised at his confession. She could feel it too. The connection, Hertha was already in love. But she had four packs to rule, she knew what would happen if she were to mate with him. She would become a full Lycan and a Lycan can not rule werewolves.
She was scared too. All the men she ever loved were dead and she was extremely scared this time around. Damian had betrayed her and the love they shared and killed her in her past life. Mikel died a day after marking her. She kept losing the men she loves and the moon goddess kept sending more her way.
She freshened up and slept off.
