That night, they slept on the same bed, cuddling tightly.
The next day by dusk, he left after dinner, promising to come back very soon. After all, he couldn’t stay away from her for long, Kyle won’t let him rest. He kissed her in the woods and transformed and left.
Two days later, an Eastern messenger arrived in the southern territory. Mikel was dead. He never got the northern territory, he died in the woods. The Eastern pack went for a hunt and stumbled upon his body. He died with a silver arrow buried deep into his heart. Alexia fainted. When she woke up, she was in her room, alone. She cried her eyes out. Who had done such a thing to her? Just when she was given another chance to love again. Were all the men who loved her cursed to die? She arrived at the Eastern territory and met the Betas fighting over which one of them was going to become the Alpha. They even appointed a day for a duel among themselves to determine who was stronger. She arrived and showed them her mating mark. They were disappointed and she declared herself the Alpha female of the pack.
After the usual seven days of mourning, she appointed a Beta as ruler in her stead. Vincent was his name. She then left for the southern territory.
Two months later, Alexia fell sick. She had grieved and mourned for a long time and she fell sick. That morning, she woke up but didn’t come out of her room. No one bothered to check up on her because it has been that way since Mikel died. Crying and locking herself up in her room. Esmeralda came into her room after dinner to bring her dinner when she noticed that Alexia’s temperature had gone up.
Esmeralda took care of Alexia that night. The next morning, Alexia woke up and Esmeralda was sitting on her bed. The witch asked her how she was feeling but she responded by asking her what she was doing in her room. The witch broke the news to her.
“You are pregnant my Queen,” Esmeralda said with a smile on her face. The room went silent. Dead silence evolved the room.

She couldn’t explain how she felt when the witch told her she was pregnant. She wanted to be happy and laugh, this was what she wanted all along but she couldn’t. She stood up from her bed and ordered the witch out of her room. She freshened up and wore a casual dress and stood by the window. She wasn’t ready to face anyone. She thought about how happy Mikel would have been to know that their little one was on the way. She thought about the baby. She will bring the child up with an iron fist. She will teach him or her never to let anyone trample on him or her. Her child will be as domineering as she is.
The next few weeks, she spent her time sorting the southern territory out. She appointed a Beta to oversee things while she will be away. Levi. The tall and not handsome man caught the witch in the woods. Richard trusted him and she did too. She told the pack why she was going away for a while and where she will be, the northern territory, her birthplace. She told Esmeralda that she’ll be coming along with her.
After everything was sorted, she left for the northern territory with Esmeralda. She had already sent a messenger to announce her arrival to Zoe. She arrived at the northern territory and everything looked very good. The fast-growing pack meant a lot of armies. The pack welcomed her warmly with everyone congratulating her. They looked at the witch strangely, the first time they all will be seeing a witch.
For nine months, Alexia stayed in the northern territory. Her baby bump grew big and she and Hertha even added a lot of weight. A lot changed. She ran in the woods every full moon, so she won’t turn out a worn-out pregnant Alpha female.
The next morning they were born, she had finished eating breakfast as usual and she stood up to go take her morning walk when the pain from last night got stronger, she summoned Zoe immediately and helped her to her room. The contractions getting stronger by the minute. The female omega midwives arrived and went to work immediately.
