Lifting my thighs my knees touching my chest and my back pressed deeper into the wall he pushes his hips into mine. “You are very sick, my female. I have been trying my best to keep away from your flesh yet here you are easily crumbling my composure.” He continues.
“Fuck you upon this wall? If I wanted I would have taken you raw on that sink right where you were sitting. And no matter how much you cried or begged I wouldn’t have stopped. I would have fucked you over and over again until all you could do was scream my name. I would have done it like hard. Like the beast you wish for.” He utters tone dominant reigning in his desires.
Letting of me, my feet land upon the ground he fixes my towel securing it properly around my chest. “Remember this, the pictures you have in your head is nothing compared to what I can do to you in reality. Do not test me, Lumina.”
With those words left in the air, we get dressed. He arranges my meal on the small table so I can eat comfortably. Taking the soup-filled spoon he blows upon it feeding it to me gently. I told him I could eat on my own but he stressed he wants to feed his female.
“Now?” I question munching on the soft bread which he tears apart into bite sizes for me.
“Yes you need to be checked, I hope it is not a severe illness.” He says feeding me the last of my meal.
“No need to stress about it, I am strong. It will pass.” I say as he shakes his head.
“I know but it is safer to do so. It is the first time you have felt this way so I want to make sure. The healer is waiting.” He says whilst cleaning up.
The trip to Gio’s pack was excruciating with every bump along the way I wanted to heave out the contents in my stomach. Deimos held me tightly to his chest the entire ride with soothing words and encouragement. He wanted the food kept in my stomach so every time I was at the edge of vomiting he held a slice of lemon to my nose to reduce nausea as much as possible.
“We are here. My female is strong.” He whispers with a soft kiss to my sweat coated forehead. My eyes are closed my mouth clamped shut as I take deep breaths.
The car comes to a complete stop and a sigh of relief passes my lips. He opens the door getting out first. Leaning inside he prepares to carry me.
“I can w-walk.” I say.
“I know you can but I want to carry you.” He utters holding me gently walking straight to the pack clinic. My arms around his neck nose pressed into his flesh my nausea takes a breather. “I am here, my female.” He whispers.
The smell of herbs and medicine makes me gag and he immediately brings the slice of lemon to my nose squeezing a few drops into my mouth.
“Alpha.” Guaritrice greets her eyes on me. She scans me from head to toe searching for the root of the problem.
My male places me softly onto the bed shifting the hair gently from my face. “She couldn’t handle the drive here but she pulled through.” He tells her keeping his eyes on me.
The healer nods preparing her instruments for a check-up. Returning with green fluid in a small wooden cup she instructs me. “Drink it.” It possesses no smell making it easier for me to swallow. As soon as it hit the walls of my stomach my nausea calms.
“Anything else other than what you told me on the phone, Alpha?” She questions.
“Yes… she smells different. Her scent has been changing for the past few weeks.” He replies as the shrill ringtone of his phone erupts cutting into calm silence.
He immediately picks up, “Speak.” He commands. The wolf on the other side runs with his words speaking fast fueled by anxiety and confusion. Deimos sighs deeply running his fingers through his hair frustrated.
The healer looks at me calmly as if she is already sure of this sickness I possess. A minute is what takes my male to end the conversation. “Something has come up that requires my presence.” He says looking upset.
“Go, my male.” I whisper.
“I can stay, Lumina.” He says. Even if he did I know his mind would be disturbed.
“Deimos I am not dying. I will wait here for you, okay?” A forced chuckle leaves my lips.
A quick kiss to my temple, “I will return as fast as the wind.” He nods in question.
“As fast as the wind.” I whisper back with a nod. He leaves quickly taking big steps rushing out the door so he can get back sooner.
“Say it. I know you know what is wrong with me. So say it.” I speak to the healer not looking at her.
“I will after I make sure of my theory.” She replies bringing the instrument hidden behind the curtain. It is sort of a flat stick not pointy but round-edged with a soft pad upon the tip.
Making me spread my legs, she inserts the stick inside my core without any hesitation or warning. I flinch strongly eyes wide as a frown takes over. Why is that object inside me? Why is she checking my core instead of my throat?
She shifts it side to side sweeping across my walls. As quick as she went in she exited swiftly with a curt nod of conclusion. Throwing the stick in the garbage she turns around cleansing her hands.
Questions filled with fear consume my mind. Why is she quiet? Am I really sick? Am I… am I going to die? Oh Goddess, how will my male survive? My females? I haven’t even seen them yet. How many months do I have left? What if it is days or merely hours or what if-
She turns to me swiftly head bowed deep palm placed upon her chest, “Congratulations Luna. May your heir bring prosperity, wealth, and joy to the pack.”
I look at her dumbfounded unable to say anything but ask a question, “What?”
“You are pregnant.” She whispers a gentle look in her eyes.
My heart stops, mouth opens wide palm clamped over my mouth. Eyes wide tears leaking without control. I gasp again and again hand immediately going to my stomach. Heavy gut-wrenching sobs shake my entire being. I try to take shaky breaths between my loud wails yet it feels stuck within a barrier in the depths of my throat.
“H-How long?” I question between my choked sobs.
“Five weeks, Luna.” She replies instantly.
“Thank you. Thank you!” I thank the goddess over and over again for the fear that something happened because of the birth pill I consumed dying. Everything is blurry around me as I clench my chest and weep with immense happiness.
The door bangs open and Deimos rushes in hair ruffled up breathing heavily, he carries the scent of sweat. He ran here. Finding me weeping on the floor has him running to me gathering me in his arms. Clutching onto his shirt wailing loud sobs erupting from my chest.
His heart clenches, not knowing the reason. He looks at the healer’s eyes filled with fury. He wishes to question her but she bows and exits the room immediately giving us the privacy we need.
“Look at me, my light. What is wrong? You are scaring me.” He whispers eyes drowning with anxiety. His heart pumps louder.
“Deimos,” I call his name urgently whimpers leaving my lips.
“Hush now. I am here, aren’t I? I am here!” He urges bringing me closer to his trembling flesh trying to ease my soul, making me look at him. “Tell me please.” He begs.
“I-I… I have something inside me.” Calming my sobs so I can deliver the truth clearly, I whine hiccups leaving my lips. His heartbeat increases with pace and sound. I can hear it clearly, the harsh continuous pound of it.
“What is it?” He questions his body shaking, hands trembling heart skipping beats for his body sways with anxious anticipation.
“A life,” I whisper peering into his eyes that shows the cracks of his soul stitching back together. Silence consumes us for I cannot hear anything. My male’s heart had stopped.
