Ron’s p. o. v
There was something wrong with Kat and Will. They were acting all cool in front of me when I could tell they were not as happy as they were weeks ago.
It had been fucking weeks since the argument yet all they could do was sigh and lock themselves up in their room. There was no longer fun in the house and it was getting boring.
We had gone through a lot together that’s why I wasn’t going to let them continue touring themselves.
“Why are we here?” Rhoyda asked lazily.
She sat next to Will on the couch opposite me.
“Can anyone tell me what’s going on with the both of you?” I asked in my most calmest tone ignoring her question.
“I recently discovered a werewolf pack nearby. How about we go and visit it. Let’s have some fun?” Kat said with a dark smile.
Oh no. I knew that smile all too well. She was losing her mind, luckily Will was here.
“I agree. A little fun wouldn’t hurt at all.” Will answered coldly shocking me.
“Will” I yelled in a warning tone.
“What?” He asked simply.
“Weren’t you against the idea at first?” I asked back.
“I was but not anymore.” He answered with a smirk.
Both of them were losing their minds.
He stood up and hit the table, startling me as It broke in half.
“What the hell, not cool man. Not cool.” I spat loudly.
I was so used to having fun, drinking, and partying. Not babysitting two angry adults.
“Fine!. We will go there, just let me sort out something. Give me an hour okay!” I asked on top of my voice while looking at them.
This was very bad and going way out of hand. They were submitting to their instinct and acting up.
“Fine, not a minute more or less. Only one hour.” Kat answered as she stood up.
“Cool,” Will responded as well then went upstairs as she followed behind.
I stood up quickly and went out of the house.
I knew an old friend of mine who was a warlock. I was so positive he could have some answer on what was really happening to them.
Immediately I walked away from the house I heard low voices coming my way.
I quickly hid behind a tree masking my scent. It was an easy trick I learnt. One of the peaks for staying a lot of years.
“I’m scared Damon, we shouldn’t be here. What if she’s not alone?” A girl’s voice came through.
“I don’t care. All I know is that my wolf hasn’t settled down or let me be since I met that lady. You can go back before the monster knows we are missing, as for me. I’ll continue searching for her.” The guy answered.
“No, I can’t leave you. We are in this together, okay?. I just want you to rest, you have been searching for her for days now. Are you sure that she was real?” She asked.
“Yes she was and I’m not crazy.” He answered seriously.
So the guy was who Kat was talking about. If I could get him back at the mansion, Kat would get back to her usual self.
I stepped out from my hiding place and stood in front of them.
“Hi, I can take you to her.” I said as the guy pushed the girl behind him and growled at me.
“Who are you and what do you want?” He asked loudly.
“I am called so many things. But for now, you can call me Ron. I really just want to help you?” I answered honestly.
“Why should we trust you?” He asked with emphasis.
“Because I’m the only one who knows where that lady is. It’s either you trust me or just go back.” I answered simply.
I knew too well how easily one was influenced by the pull they felt towards a mate. If his words were really the truth then that meant Kat was his mate.
“Damon, he could be telling the truth.” The girl whispered.
I took this chance to look at the guy carefully. His eyes were covered by a clothe and his built wasn’t bad at all.
“But what if he’s lying. I might put you in danger.” He answered.
“Its alright with me. I will be okay as long as we are together.” She answered.
“Fine, we will go with you.” He said as I smiled.
“Excellent choice,” I answered happily.

Will’s p. o. v
I sat on my bed talking on phone with my friend Cole.
Cole and I met way back when he was just moving around in search of something. He was an alpha wolf who had a very cold attitude and too much pride.
Our first encounter was fatal because we fought to exercise dominance. We both couldn’t back down and it was getting the worst of us. But from nowhere he chose to back away from the fight.
That’s why I went on telling him how the whole area was claimed by me and my siblings as we had possessed the place for a very long time.
He apologized and decided to go his own way. After a few years we met again, and this time we talked and exchanged our phone numbers. Since then we had been friends.
“How could I act like that towards my own brother?. I had no idea what came over me. I even sided with Kat for some reason I couldn’t make sense of.” I said sadly.
“Will you even said it yourself. That girl is your mate. No matter how much you try to push her away it won’t work. Mates are bound to be together, you avoiding her will only hurt you and your wolf.” He answered seriously.
I brushed my hand through my hair and sighed loudly.
“But I don’t want her with me. You know how dangerous this place is. Hunters may find us. If they were to hurt her because of me I would never forgive myself.” I said honestly.
“That won’t happen so stop worrying.” He answered.
“Will you have a visitor!” Ron called downstairs.
“Cole, thank you for chatting with me. You are the only one I can talk to since I have no friends and my siblings are different from me.” I said softly.
“Call me anytime man and I would gladly answer.” He answered.
I stood up lazily and disconnected the call.
“If its fucking hoes and boos count me out. I’m not up for a f*ck.” I said loudly when I came out of my room and went downstairs.
I inhale the same vanilla rose scent that instantly made my heart pick up.
Was what I was inhaling real?.
I quickly rushed into the living room and came face to face with the girl. She stood next to the guy Rhoyda was going crazy for.
The girl happily smiled and run into my arms.
I tensed as the beautiful tingles spread through out my body. I grabbed her shoulder and slightly pushed her away.
“How on earth did they find this place?” I asked Ron seriously, who was sitting on the couch.
“They didn’t. Although they were very close, I found them. This guy over here was looking for his mate which by the look of things it’s Kat. Then as we were coming here the girl confessed being mated as well to this good-looking mysterious man who dissapeard the same way I had come from.” He answered with detest in his tone.
“Brother, I wanted to tell you. believe me.” I said softly.
“You and I will talk later. Right now, go to your room and decide what you really want to do. But dont take a long time to think things through.” He said as I nodded.
“Come with me.” I said while I grabbed her hand.
“Wait for me here brother.” She said to the guy happily.
“But Leah, you just can’t leave me here.” The guy complained.
What was wrong with this guy?. Although he was blind he still had his wolf. That meant he wasn’t that valnaruble.
“Kat. Kat!.” I called out loudly.
“What!” She yelled.
Her grumpy mood was really pissing me off.
“Your werewolf crush is here.” I said loudly.
She came out of her room and rushed past me in a flush and stood next to the guy.
She quickly brushed her hair backwards and laughed nervously.
“Hey, remember me. In the forest a few weeks ago. We talked a bit.” She said softly.
The man extended his hand and touched her face slowly.
“Oh wow. What are those?” She asked in a suprised tone.
“Those are tingles.” He answered with a smile.
Ron stood up and walked to the guy.
“Hey what’s with the clothe?” He asked as he lifted his hand to touch it when Kat pushed him away making him stumble.
“Back off. He’s not comfortable with men!” She warned with her fangs showing.
“F*ck you.” Ron spat then went to sit down again.
“If you may excuse me. I have something to discuss with her ( my mate.” I said in a lower tone then walked out of the room and went upstairs to my bedroom.
“She’s a vampire, that girl.” She whispered in a low tone.
“Yes.” I answered then walked into my bedroom.
“Why don’t you want me. Is it because I’m a werewolf ?” She asked loudly surprising me.
She wouldn’t even give me time to say a damn thing.
“I’m flexible to all supernaturals. I even find humans attractive.” I answered honestly.
“Then whats wrong. Why are you treating me like this?” She asked Seriously.
“Let me Guess. Your dream is to one day be happily married and mated to me. Maybe even bear me some pups right?” I asked coldly.
“Whats wrong with that. We are mates after all. It is normal to have such a dream, I really want that.” She answered.
“Look kid. All I can tell you is this. We don’t stay long at one place, there are much more vicious beings after us that you don’t even know of. So, I’m sorry that I can’t grant you that wish because my life is full of danger.” I said seriously.
“Then please take me with you.” She answered pleadingly.
“No and that’s my finale answer. Just go back home kid.” I said then slightly pulled her out of my way.
I went downstairs and into the living room where I found Kat chatting to the guy happily.
How dare they relax and have a good time while I was having a hard time convincing my mate to live without me.
“No I won’t leave you. We cant go back, we aren’t safe there. So you just have to accept me.” The girl said loudly getting everyone’s attention when she walked in.
“Leah was it?. Get the guy and leave!” I said seriously as she moved closer and stood in front of me.
“No.” She answered firmly.
“Ron.” I called as he smiled at me .
“Sure brother, but I think its too cruel of you to choose this method.” He answered understanding what I meant.
“You cant do this.” Kat yelled loudly then stood up with the guy.
“Too late.” Ron answered as his bones began to crack and rearrange themselves.
Leah’s eyes widened in shock as she watched Ron shift into his Lycan.
His Lycan was dark grey, very tall and huge. It was a proud beast that was very dangerous.
Leah quickly moved and grabbed the guys hand.
“What’s go…”
“Run.” She screamed then ran out of the house with him.
“Cut it out already!. You just had to chase them away. I hate you guys.” Kat yelled angrily then ran upstairs.
Shit. Was the only word I could say.
