Will’s p. o. v
In all my years, this was the first time I was seeing my sister get furious over some stranger. Since yesterday’s encounter with that guy, she’s had been moving back and forth in the house with no rest or reason.
“So is anyone going to tell me anything?” Ron asked after a few minutes of observing us.
“It’s not my place to tell you anything, its hers.” I answered while sitting on a couch.
“Kat?” He called.
“It’s nothing Ron.” She answered then glared at me.
“It is not nothing when you can’t settle down or relax. Did you encounter any hunters yesterday in the forest. Or perhaps some unknown creatures?” He asked.
“Ron calm down,” I whispered, knowing very well he could end up angering Katrina even more than she already was.
“I don’t want to fucking calm down, I want some answers. So its either you spill or I make you.” He growled loudly while pointing a finger at us.
“Just fucking shut up already or make me.” Katrina yelled on top of her voice.
Ron’s expression instantly turned cold. Everything was going in the wrong direction.
His eyes turned golden yellow and his claws were extended. He was completely pissed off.
“Fuck this, Katrina has a crush on a werewolf boy.” I said quickly to calm him down.
Katrina moved in a flash and pulled me up from the couch, squeezing my neck tightly.
I let her do as she pleased despite it being very painful.
If I was to hit her back, it would only cause a violent fight between the three of us.
“You damn snitch, you just had to open your rotten mouth.” She spat then hissed in warning.
“That’s it. You liked some guy?. Why didn’t you bring him here by force and make him yours. You could have compelled him. Have you forgotten that you are a fucking vampire for crying out loud.” Ron said surprising me.
“Finally, someone with sense.” She answered then let me go as I took in a deep breath and released it.
“What the hell Ron!. You are not suppose to encourage her. Did you miss the part I said he was a werewolf?” I yelled angrily.
“I want what’s best for her. so if the damn boy makes her happy, then let her have what she wants.” He answered lazily then moved to sit down.
Ever since I could remember, Ron treated Kat like a fucking princess, she was totally spoiled by him and over praised. I too loved her dearly but spoiling her too much wasn’t an option.
“You always do this Ron. She’s a thousand years old, one of the original immortals on earth, yet you treat her like a child.” I said loudly.
“She’s still our little sister no matter how old she is. Moreover, we both know she has never sired anyone before when it’s in every vampire’s nature to sire someone they feel attached to.” He answered in his most calmest tone.
I understood well what he meant. But the problem was that he wasn’t seeing the harm he would cause us all if she would go for him.
“What if that boy is a werewolf’s mate. Perhaps a warrior’s mate. It would bring war on us.” I said seriously as I looked at her.
“What’s wrong with you Will. Are you scared of some little dogs?. You love danger remember. Why are you so against it all?” She asked.
“I’m not scared!. Think genius, most werewolves live in packs. I know what they are capable of and yes we can take them down but we will end up hurting many innocent lives, they might even lead the hunters here.” I screamed on top of my voice.
“Really, which supernatural side of yours is speaking right now?. The vampire side or the werewolf side?” Ron asked as I growled loudly at him in anger.
“I’m a hybrid asshole, so both are speaking right now.” I spat.
I could feel my wolf pulling through to take over. I was sure my eyes were now a pure red.
“Enough!” Katrina screamed.
We both looked at her quietly.
“Fine!. I won’t try anything, so could you tone down with the fucking noise?. Gosh, it’s giving me a fucking headache.” She said loudly then turned and went upstairs.
“It’s all your fault.” Ron whispered.
“My fault. Really?. You put fuel on fire by encouraging her on her bullshit. You wanted a damn answer right. There, you got one. I hope you are happy now.” I spat then walked out of the house.
I was beyond pissed.
