Mia’s p. o. v
Ungrateful wolf, how dare she ignores me while she sits comfortably on our mates’ lap. That was suppose to be me in Landon’s arms.
“I am talking to you, you damn wolf.” I spat furiously.
” Let me out!” I exclaimed.
She leaned her head against his chest and closed her eyes still ignoring me.
“I know you can hear me you damn dog!” I spat furiously. It was a little too much and very disrespectful, but she wasn’t giving me any choice of holding back.
She opened her eyes and sat upright seriously.
Finally, I was getting a reaction from her.
She stood up and walked out of the bedroom without a word. The twins quickly followed her behind.
“Ayira,” Brandon called softly as she kept on walking.
Her footsteps at first were slow then she picked up her pace and rushed to my bedroom.
She walked in and came face to face with the two female alphas.
They were both facing us and had smiles across their faces. They looked suspicious yet so beautiful putting on bearless dresses with their hair tied up. I hated to admit it but they really were pretty.
I was surprised to see them so soon after one was almost killed, but what the hell were they doing in my room which was suppose to be fixed and cleaned.
They bowed low immediately the twins walked in.
“Alphas.” They greeted together.
“What exactly are you doing in our mate’s room?” Landon asked seriously.
“We wanted to help with….”.
“What were you about to plant in this room?” Ayira asked in a cold, strong serious voice.
Her playful and flirtatious character was gone. She was emitting a different kind of aura, not deadly yet not friendly either.
“What the hell are you insinuating Omega?” One of the female Alphas’ asked sarcastically.
“Last time I checked omega wasn’t a name but a rank.” Ayira whispered under her breath.
“That’s when you have realized!. How dumb can you be?” The other alpha spat
“You treated Mia the same way and told her horrible words, that’s the reason why I’m here.” She said seriously as the two female alpha’s looked at each other for a minute then burst out laughing. Ayira stood there looking calm on the outside.
But in the inside I could feel her true emotions, she was getting very angry.
“I will say this the last time omega. By now you should know your place. You can be the alphas mate and their Luna, but we are still alphas, way above you, as higher ranks we demand total respect.” One growled in warning making sure her dominance was behest through her voice. If I was the one facing them I could have backed away in respect or submission. But Ayira stood tall and unfazed by their words.
Brandon was about to move when Ayira moved her hand to stop him.
She slowly walked towards them, her every step carried dominance. The female alphas looked at each other then back at Ayira in shock.
She stood in front of them and pressed each of her hands on their shoulders then leaned in.
“I would like to see the both of you decorate your body red using silver knives.” She whispered, her words seemed simple, but they had a hint of an order as the ring around her pupil glowed.
She pulled back and smirked then turned and faced the twins.
“Mia called me a dog.” She reported surprising me.
What the hell was she trying to do. Her character was different a few seconds ago.
Even when the twins were mistreating us, she was always whimpering and begging me to stay by their side. Same as that day I decided to leave them, she was asking me to go back and seemed to be in pain. Then now a few minutes ago she was like this crazy flirtatious, disrespectful bitch. What exactly was her true character between the three, and why was she switching anyhow.
“Ayira, we will talk about that later. For now, we have to talk to the ….”
Brandon cut his sentence short when the alpha female walked past him and went downstairs.
“Did they just fucking ignore us?” Brandon asked seriously.
“Of course,” Ayira whispered with a lifted brow.
Brandon turned and walked out. Ayira followed and beside her was Landon.
We followed him in the kitchen where he stood at the entrance.
He glanced at us with a surprised expression then looked back.
We moved closer and walked in. I too was in shock with what I was seeing.
They both had silver knives in their hands.
Were they trying to kill me or hurt my mates?. I was panicking.
They both faced each other and lifted the knives in mid-air.
“Do it.” I heard Ayira say in our mind as the two female alphas stabbed each other on the shoulder. Then screamed out in pain.
A grin of satisfaction formed on Ayira’s face.
The twins stood there without a word as they pulled out the knives and lifted them again.
“Hey, are you doing this to them?” I asked loudly.
“Mmmm.” Was her response.
The female alphas were trembling and their eyes filled with tears as they brought down the knives and pierced each other’s stomach.
“Hey if you are doing this stop, you are killing them!” I screamed on top of my voice.
“Death is part of life. A few have to die for the others to be reborn.” She answered coldly.
“Ayira are you doing this?” Brandon asked in a whisper then looked at her.
“I just want them to know their place.” She answered softly.
“Stop it.” I yelled.
“I will.” She answered then folded her arms watching as the ladies pulled out the knives and stabbed each other near their hearts as tears rolled on their cheeks.
They were badly bleeding and their feet were wobbly.
One fell on the ground with a loud thud as she choked and gagged.
The other was struggling to breathe, her breath was in short pants.
“Ayira,” Landon called loudly.
“Fine.” She answered then dropped her hand.
“Stop.” She whispered as the ring glowed again.
The female alphas dropped the knives to the ground powerlessly.
“That’s all I wanted to do today. I knew they were going to try something on you. In your room, there is a hidden charm. I could sense it but I’m not sure if you can. It might be harmful to both of us, so get rid of it as soon as possible. Those two alphas aren’t dead, I just gave them a taste of what they wanted to inflict on you with that charm. That’s why you should always remember this, all I do, I do it to protect you.” She whispered silently then pulled back and allowed me to take over.
