“Pardon me Alphas. But are you certain that you don’t want us in your territory?. I know that you are mated to her, but then again, Have you thought about what everyone might say about you?. You need an equally strong companion to be with. Yes, we are willing to let you keep the girl as your breeder because all we are asking is for is a chance to prove our worth. A week is all we are asking.” The one with a beauty spot said.
I clenched my hands in anger. My wolf was trying to take over but I stopped her and shut her out. No matter how upset we were. The two women were Alphas. But then again how dare she spit such crap. Yes I was angry with my mates. And I didn’t know what to do around them. Brandon suggested to start over as my boyfriend and my heart flustered. My wolf was way out of line. Howling and moving back and forth in joy. I immediately agreed without a second thought. They not only apologized but confessed how they felt about me. I too loved them with my whole heart.
“You must be kidding me. There is no way they would want you. They are…..”
“We agree,” Landon answered softly cutting me off and shocking me.
The words that came out of his mouth were like a sharp sword. They instantly hurt and broke my heart. I bite my lower lip to swallow a whimper that was about to escape me. My wolf was crying out to them but they couldn’t hear or feel any of our feelings. We weren’t mated or connected in any way. I looked at Brandon sadly who was staring at Landon with widened eyes.
I was hoping he would look at me and see the pain in my eyes. He was the only one who seemed easy to talk to. He was the only one who could make his brother take back his words.
I angrily faced the two female Alphas when they giggled happily and stood up with a low bow.
“What the fuck are you doing?” Brandon asked.
I was shocked to hear his words clearly. They weren’t using the packs’ link and I wasn’t yet mated to them but I could hear him.
“You can’t tell me that you don’t feel attracted to them. You even know that your wolf is okay keeping them with us for a week.” Landon answered back.
I couldn’t believe his words at all.
“But still, look at our mate?” Brandon whispered as Landon did. My eyes were getting blurry with tears that were threatening to fall.
How could they do that to me?. Weren’t mates suppose to love and protect each other?. Everything I believed in was shattered because of them.
“Mia….” He called softly
“Don’t talk to me murderer!. Gosh, I feel stupid for thinking you were something more than a cold bloody killer.” I spat furiously then rushed back to the pack house.
Tears couldn’t stop rolling from my eyes as I rushed into my room. I was hurt and in pain. My wolf’s whimper were louder that I couldn’t hold them in.
“Father take me too.” I cried out.
I wished for death because the pain was killing me, it wasn’t a direct rejection, but it still was rejection. If they really loved and wanted me, they couldn’t have accepted other women to serve them. I longed for the impossible. I wished to stop the pain and for my wolf to not go through the hell of my life. I was tired of everything.
A knock on my door made me stop crying. I sat upright on the bed and kept quiet.
I knew it weren’t any of my mates because they usually walked in without knocking. After all, it was their freaking pack house.
“Luna.” Christophers voice came through.
I wiped off my tears and rushed to the door.
I opened it with a forced smile. He stood there looking down at me sadly.
“I’m sorry, I was making the bed. That’s why I took time to respond to you.” I lied.
He sighed softly then pat my head a few times.
“A Luna is a symbol of strength to both her mates and her pack. She goes through a lot, but always stands strong beside her Alphas.” He whispered softly.
I wanted to ask him if he was telling me to fight for the twins when they made it clear that they didn’t want me. He dropped his hand and cleared his throat.
“I was sent here by the Alphas. They have told our warriors to gather everyone outside. It seems they have an announcement to make.” He said with a sad expression.
I understood his words clearly. They were about to announce that they were going to take the two female Alphas in their pack. And I was suppose to stand there by their side and swallow my pain as well as my pride.
“Thank you Chris. Let’s go then.” I answered.
We walked silently downstairs and came out of the pack house. We found everyone standing quietly facing the Alphas. My mates stood in front of them. And on each of their side stood the female Alphas.
I stood in the crowd waiting for them to give their announcement.
Christopher went to them and whispered something in Landon’s ear. When his eyes met mine, I knew that he was telling him about me. He nodded then looked at Brandon for a second before facing the pack members.
“My brother and I have decided to take these two female Alphas in our pack. They will be our partners and get the same respect you show us.” He said coldly as I chuckled loudly.
“The same respect that you can’t even give your own fucking mate. How stupid can you be.” I spat furiously then met his eyes.
Murmurs and gasps broke out in the crowd.
I knew the consequences of my own words and actions. But I was ready to pay the price.
He smirked then slowly approached me. His strong aura was being omitted while his eyes were slowly changing into a dark shade of red.
My wolf was no longer whimpering in pain but fear. She was begging me to submit to the dominant male that was approaching us, but I chose not to give in.
Everyone moved from his way in fear until I was the only one left in front of him standing.
When his hand went on my neck choking me. I stood there not fighting or struggling.
“Are you desperate to die?” He growled loudly.
I held his hand and tried pushing it away but he wouldn’t badge while I began to struggle for air.
“Ar.. e you des… perate to lose a m.. ate?” I asked back while choking.
“Landon,” Brandon called loudly in warning.
He lifted his brow then dropped his hand. I fell to the ground weakly and inhaled air quickly as I tried to calm myself down.
He squat beside me and leaned in.
“Just because you are our mate, it doesn’t make you any special. You are just a lowly omega that we chose to breed.” He spat as tears rolled on my cheeks.
I wasn’t going to pretend anymore. I was better off without them.
“No.” My wolf growled at me when she knew what I was about to do.

I swallowed my words when he crushed his lips on mine roughly.
I was shocked and wanted to push him back to continue my rejection. Sadly my body was already submitting to him. I shamelessly clinged on to him and kissed him back desperately.
Without thinking about the pack members eyes on us. He was what I wanted and needed at that very moment.
