“Shall we?,” He asked, the sooner he gets this over with, the faster he can go back to sleep even though he doubts if he’d ever get another wink of sleep tonight.
“This way,” Gracie led them out. As she walked to where they were supposed to shift, she informed them happily, “Jeff spent tons of funds to get these acres so we would be able to shift.”
Jeff looked shy as others thanked him. They soon got to where Gracie was talking about. Even though it is filled with only grasses and trees, it’s beautiful.
Ryan inhaled the cool scent of the wet soil and this sent Ray into a frenzy. The wolf was practically leaping up and down in Ryan’s head.
How long has it been since he got the chance to run? Ryan fulfilled his request and removed his shirt, exposing his smooth chest hair.
He moved to remove his shorts when gasps stopped him. He turned around to see that the ladies were staring at him with his eyes round as saucers. Pearl’s facial expression was the worst of all.
Her eyes were even on his crotch. “What?” He asked, feeling confused at their reactions. “Kral… You don’t want to make our wives corrupt-minded, do you? Besides, Pearl is here. Do you really want to undress in front of them?” Jeff winked at him.
Ryan frowned and walked away, holding his shirt in one hand. Wolves normally wouldn’t care about their fellow wolves’ nudity or nakedness so he doesn’t understand why they are making it sound like it’s a big deal.
He found an empty spot and stripped off his shorts. He hadn’t even bothered to wear underwear since he heard that they were going to shift. He loves them so much to shred them in the process of shifting.
As soon as he was naked, he breathed in deeply and let Ray take over. The latter was too happy to oblige. Hair grew on his body at an alarming rate and most of his body was covered up with black furs as his paws slowly appear.
Bones cracked and disjointed. A few minutes later, a huge black wolf was standing on the spot Ryan had been standing earlier. He howled loudly and gave a signal to the rest.
The wolf trailed their location with their scent and a frown seems to appear on his face when he noticed that some of them haven’t shifted yet.
Some like Pearl, Gracie and Derrick. Others have already shifted. So many different coloured wolves surrounding the rest.
‘ What are you guys still waiting for?’ Ryan snapped, using the mind-link. ‘Chris is at the front door. He’ll be here soon and then we can shift together. He’s challenged us to another duel of hunting,’ Gracie sounded excited.
Only Jeff knows her obsession with hunting and blood-clotted animals. Ray almost rolled his eyes but he couldn’t. He just stood there, trying to force himself from jumping around.
He’s having mixed feelings right now and it’s because of the dummy that’s still feeling upset that his sleep had been ruined. He is torn between showing excitement at being able to shift and feeling pissed off for Ryan.
But he chose to push Ryan’s feelings aside and focused on his. He laid on the floor and rolled on his back.
Pearl walked closer to him with a smile. She reached out to pat him but was caught off by a loud growl. She immediately withdrew her hands in fear as Ray whimpered.
He doesn’t like having this lady around him. He would have preferred if it was his mate instead. No one except her is allowed to pat him.
‘I’m sorry Pearl. Ray is not in a good mood that’s why he reacted like that,’ Ryan immediately gave an excuse for Ray’s behaviour even though he is also surprised as to why the wolf acted that way.
Pearl nodded and moved back. Her mind filled with doubt as she scrutinized Ray. What does Ryan mean that he is not in a good mood? The wolf in front of her is clearly happy so why did he act that way?
She didn’t have much time to dwell on her thoughts cause Chris walked in just then. “Hello. I thought you’d already started before me,” he said, hugging Gracie, Mia and Vanessa tightly.
Ray’s nose perked up at the offensive scent of the strong cologne. He moved away and reminded then,’ Can we go now? We’d leave y’all that still hasn’t undressed behind.’
Ryan was stunned when Pearl suddenly pulled off her top and others followed suit. He cleared his throat and turned away. Pearl frowned. Why did he look away!? She was only getting started. She hadn’t even removed her underwear yet!
‘Catch up with me if you can,’ Nico made the first move and ran away. The other wolves immediately followed chase…
A few hours had passed and the moon was already out fully. The wolves had already tired themselves out cause they were either laying on the floor or sitting while panting hard for air.
‘I can’t believe Gracie caught the most games! How does she manage to do that every time!?,’ Vanessa sounded unhappy.
‘That’s because she has Jeff on her side. Jeff’s always helping her. Ask your husband to be more responsible,’ Scott nudged her while giving Nico a side glance.
I’m sure if it were possible for wolves to laugh. They would have burst into laughter. Nico’s wolf cowered away and whined when Vanessa look at him.
Everyone had no other choice but to chuckle inwardly. ‘Are we still going to the club?’ Chris asked and the wolves turned to him.
‘This is why you and Scott are still single. You two don’t know anything else than chase skirts,’ Gracie chided.
‘Hey! Face him okay, he is the one that asked the question. Not me,’ Scott whined.
‘What about our dear Ryan? Did you forget to mention him? At least, we still manage to get laid but ask Ryan, how many skirts has he opened?’ Chris retorted.
