Lena heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that Emily already looked calm and didn’t look as angry as she looked a few minutes ago… Then she was looking at her like she wanted to stab her.
She slowly walked to Emily when she received no response. “Sister… I know I was wrong. I’m sorry, okay? I just wanted to make you happy and make you forget that scumbag,” She spoke softly, making Emily look at her.
Emily nodded but she still protested, “But it still doesn’t mean you have to go on an online dating site and look for a match for me.”
“Sister… Just go this one time, if you don’t like him. Don’t go again and I won’t bother you anymore,” Lena quickly stopped her as she was raising her phone to obviously send a rejection message to whoever Steve is.
Emily hesitated for a minute but then, she nodded. Lena squealed happily and hugged her excitedly.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself… I might not like him. He must probably look ugly and unlike the picture, he must have posted on the dating site,” Emily warned her.
Lena shook her head sideways and chuckled, “Sister, you haven’t even seen his picture before and you are already jumping to a conclusion.”
“Then…,” Emily paused for a while to think of what to say. Lena waited patiently to hear the excuse she wants to give in order to avoid going on the date.
“Yes!,” Emily suddenly thought of something. “Then he must be a boring person. I will probably get bored to death before the date even begins.”
Lena rolled her eyes and assured her, “Sister, relax… Everything go just fine as we planned.” Emily gasped and tried to deny herself, “Who said I am panicking?”
Lena didn’t even bother to reply to her, she just snatched off her phone and sent a reply to Steve. It says,’ I’ll be there.’ Then she returned the phone back to Emily and immediately ran away before Emily could read it.
Sure enough, when Emily saw the reply, she let out a loud “Argggh!!!” and ran after Lena.

Two days later, Emily walked out to put away the trash bag in the house. She wasn’t yet familiar with the place since they are still new there and she has barely even set foot out of the house since the grocery shopping thing.
She stood on the pavement and looked around for a trash can… You know all those huge trash cans that are always placed in front of houses but she didn’t see anyone.
She scrunched her nose up in disgust. Where the heck is she supposed to put this trash bag now? There is no way she is taking the stinking thing back to the house.
Just when she was thinking of what to do, she saw a trash can that was placed miles away from the house. The trash can wasn’t exactly placed in front of any house. It was only placed in between the houses so she figured out it’d be okay to put the trash bag in her hands in it.
So she walked to it slowly, checking out houses on her way. Soon she got to the trash can and opened it. Just as she was about to throw the trash in it, someone suddenly poured trash into it and most of it fell on her hands which were already in the trash can.
She watched in disgust as spoilt food items and many more things stained her hands even though she was practically wearing gloves.
She immediately cussed without even looking up to see the person, “Are you fucking blind!?” On normal occasions, she wouldn’t cuss like this and her mother will probably be surprised to see her cussing but she just couldn’t help it.
But she has OCD and she literally can’t accept the fact that her gloves had just been stained with trash!!! Huh? Don’t y’all also think she has something in common with someone?
“Miss, you don’t have to get so worked up. It’s just trash and moreover, you are wearing gloves.” Emily immediately looked up when she heard this.
She stared at the black-haired man in front of him with a look of disbelief like he had just said the most stupid thing on earth. It’s just trash!
So she can also open up her trash bag now and empty the contents in it on his hands then tell him it’s just trash, it’ll be acceptable right!
Her face turned red like a ripe tomato with so much anger. “You have absolutely no manners,” She chose to say this instead of what she had in mind to say to him.
“Instead of apologizing, you are telling me it’s just trash. Why am I even wasting my time with immature, senseless youth like you?,” She mumbled the last part to herself and angrily threw the trash bag into the trash can.
The man obviously heard her last statement cause he raised an eyebrow and informed her, “Miss… The last time I checked… This trash can belongs to my house so I don’t get why a stranger would just pick up an argument with me over my trash can.”
Emily glared at him. She hadn’t envisioned that the early moments of her Monday would be spent arguing with someone over a trash can. She shook her head and forced back the angry words she wanted to say.
“Then you should place it directly in front of your house well and let people know that it’s taken. No worries… I won’t even touch or come close to your trash can again now that I have taken note of it,” She said and turned away without saying any more words.
The man watched her leave and his lips curved up in an amused smile. How can she say she has taken note of his trash can? Didn’t she notice that all the trash cans on the streets are exactly the same so how will she be able to tell the difference?
He chuckled, closed the trash can and turned around to walk back to the house he had come out from. What a funny lady!
