“I -“she gagged and covered her mouth with her hands, her eyes bulging.
She’s going to puke.
I picked her up ran to our bathroom, on the way there, I slammed a fist against the bell that was connected to the servant quarters, my legs not faltering for a second. The moment I entered the bathroom, she gagged again and then vomit erupted out of her mouth before she could control herself.
She tried to get away from me, almost falling in the process but I held her tight and gently placed her down in front of the toilet. Her knees hit the ground and she clutched the toilet seat before she puked more.
I too, kneeled by her side and held her thick, long hair back. I patted and rubbing her back in hopes of making her feel better.
Tears were streaming down her face as she puked her guts out.
I’ve never heard about an adult supernatural who has puked in his entire lifetime.
She finally settled down after she puked all the contents of her stomach out. I flushed the toilet.
I released her hair and cupped her face, gently wiping the tears dry with the pads of my thumb.
Her eyes fell on my chest-more specifically on the puke that decorated it.
“I’m sor-”
“Don’t.” I cut her off softly. “You’re sick, you don’t need to apologise for it.” And then I asked her. “Are you feeling better now?”
She nodded before whispering. “I need to wash up.” She brought her hands up, they had puke on them too.
“Here, Mistress.” Tessa, who had come some time during Ava was puking. Still sleepy and in her nightgown, Tessa was kneeling on her other side. She wiped Ava’s mouth with a wet wash cloth and then her hands.
She gave me a fresh wash cloth too and I wiped the puke off my chest before tossing it away.
Eliyah brought in a glass of water that Ava gladly necked.
But then her eyes widened and she turned to the toilet and puked. Again.
But this time, it had blood. My eyes bulged.
Worry slithered in my heart. What the fuck is happening to her?
There was blood in her puke after she drank the water Eliyah had brought.
What did he mix in it?
My eyes snapped to his in anger.
He looked terrified at the sight of blood too. And then his eyes slid to me and he grew more terrified at the sight of my angry face.
Good.
I motioned Tessa to hold Ava’s hair. She quickly did as told and took my place. I took up and grabbed Eliyah by his throat and dragged him out.
I growled lowly, not wanting Ava to worry. For some reason, she liked him. So I should try to keep him alive. I tossed him on the floor. “What did you do to her?” I snarled.
He was holding his throat, breathing hard. “N-nothing.”
“What did you put in he water?” I hissed.
“N-nothing.” He croaked. It was the truth, but I didn’t believe my senses right now.
“Tell me the fucking truth! Or else I’ll kill you right here, right now!” I hissed before I stalked inside the bathroom and picked up the glass of water Ava had drank from. It was still half full.
I brought it under my nose and took a whiff.
Nothing.
I took a sip.
It tasted normal.
