The large room is decorated beautifully and has a soothing fragrance. A big king-sized bed is in the middle of the room. The closet is big and looks sparkling clean with no trace of dust on it. The chandelier light hanging on the ceiling makes the room more beautiful.
Dean is sitting on the edge of the bed with all his attention on the laptop sitting on the center table before him. He has been working on the laptop for over two hours, and it’s almost daybreak. He almost didn’t sleep all through the night. It’s Monday today, and he had to take care of some of his works over the weekend.
Suddenly, he sighs softly as his face drops sadly. Thinking about his past makes him feel horrible and always sad. He has always tried not to think about it, and move on with his life, but no matter how much he tried to be strong, the pain is always there. Maybe this is how losing a close family is. Ever since the death of his mom, his life has never remained the same. He was still trying to get over her death over the years, but then the death of his father added to it.
He and his mother were the closest, while Damien was closer to their father. They were living happily like the happy family they were. Even after so many years, it’s still hard to get over her death and move on.
A drop of tears slid down the corner of his eyes, and his heart wrenches in pain. Over the years, he has been pretending to be fine, he just wanted to be strong for the sake of the only family he has left (Damien), but nothing is working. He can’t get over this, and maybe he should just stop trying to do it.
‘Dean, Damien… You two should always be by each other’s side. Never turn against each other, no matter the challenges. Remember you’re all you’ve got on earth’ those were his father’s words before he passed away. Recalling how sad and pained the man looked, how broken he was that he was leaving them behind, and the painful smile on his face that day, just to make them see that he was strong, each time he recall the scene, it’s always heartbreaking.
Although he wasn’t so close with their father, he was the best father anyone would pray to have. He gave them all the happiness in the whole world and brought them up to love each other. He wasn’t just a good father, but the perfect leader anyone would pray to have. Their father was the best alpha that ever got recorded in the history of the Blue Moon pack.
‘It hurts! I can’t breathe’ tears slowly streams down his cheeks as his cries echo in his head. His father suffered from the poison so much before he died. Recalling how teary he looked, how he tried to fight for his life and be here for his sons, breaks his heart into a million pieces that can’t be fixed back together. Even after so many years, the pain in his eyes before he passed away was something he couldn’t have forgotten so soon.
‘I don’t want to leave you two, I want to be with you… But I have to go’ more tears find their way out of his eyes as he stares into space with anger and pain written all over his face. Thinking about how he cried in pain, how his father tried to stay alive for them, thinking about all that, fill his heart with nothing, but hatred and vengeance. No matter what, he’s never going to let go of the culprit that killed his father, he’ll never forgive the person that did that to his father.
He sighs briefly and wipes the tears from his eyes, after which he picks up his phone from the bed and unlocks it. Clicking on the ‘dial’ icon, he scrolls through it for some seconds before he finally stops and clicks it one more time, taking the phone to his ear as it rings.
“Good morning, Sir,” a feminine voice sounds through the phone as soon as the call is answered.
“Lydia, morning. What’s my schedule over the month, and when will I be free?” He questions.
“About that, we would have to discuss it when you get to the office. I need to check through the schedule book thoroughly, as to not make mistakes. I’ll let you know when we see in the office,” she explains over the phone.
He sighs briefly and drops the call. He drops his phone beside him on the bed and runs his fingers through his hair. He has been away from home for so long, and he has missed his brother a lot. Maybe going back home to spend some time with his brother will ease his painful heart and make him feel relaxed.
He finally switches off the laptop, then stands up and strides into the bathroom to have his bath and get ready for work.
Barely thirty minutes that he went inside the bathroom, the bathroom door suddenly opens with a light creak, revealing the hot creature that just stepped out. Dean has the perfect body shape. His skin is light and smooth, his thick black hair is clinging to his head and dripping wet. He has a white towel wrapping around his waist. He’s super cute.
One hour later…
He glances at his reflection in the mirror for the last time, and with that, he picks up his briefcase from the dressing chair and ambles out of the room.
Almost an hour later, he arrives at the company and heads straight to his office. His secretary stands up to greet him as soon as he steps into the office.
“Good morning, Sir,” she greets him politely.
“Good morning. Get me my schedule for the whole month,” he says to her before walking into his office.
He throws himself tiredly on his chair as soon as he steps into his office. He stares up at the ceiling. Today is not a good day for him. His day was ruined.
The knock on the door pulls his attention back to reality, and he ushers the person in, after confirming that it’s his secretary.
The door opens slightly and she peeks in her head, before she finally walks in, holding a file in her hand. She strides elegantly down to his desk and stops just behind the chair that’s across his desk.
“Sir, here’s your schedule for the month. You are having appointments with not less than fifteen companies within this month and the next three months, and they’re all important. You’re going to be a spokesman at Mr. Louis’s conference, which will be hosted in less than seventy-two hours,” she explains, and he sighs briefly.
“Also, the appointment between you and Mr. Wyatt Knight is tomorrow night. He sent the address, which I already forwarded to your email,” she further says, and he nods his head.
“Alright. Thank you. You may leave now,” he dismisses her, and she ambles out of the office.
The sound of his ringing phone pulls his attention, and he picks up the phone upon seeing his assistant name displayed on the screen of the phone.
“Hello, Sir. I have searched through your schedule, and you’ll be free in five months. You have so many things to attend to this month,” she explains over the phone, and he sighs softly. Seems like he still has five or six months more to spend here without going home to see his brother. That’s sad.
“Alright,” he replies sadly.
“Uhm, Sir. I’m sorry, but I don’t think that I’ll be able to come to the office. Something urgent came up, and it needs my attention,” she says over the phone.
“Alright, take your time,” he replies to her and drops the call…
