The city lights illuminated the water beautifully. The reflection of the moon also, like a polished ball of silver ready to throw across the big boat. The water looked dark blue as far as they could see in every direction, with peaceful and soothing air. They couldn’t both wish for a more perfect night to make love.
The yacht was moored to the pier and bobbed slowly on an incoming tide, like a tooth waiting for a tug of the tongue and the smooth scrape of enamel, waiting for them. As soon as they got on board, it set out.
Frederick and Anthonia experienced one of the most romantic moments in their lives that night, all thanks to the thoughtful gift he had given her. If he was looking for a way to give himself an unforgettable experience, the mall visit truly did just that! He had managed not only show his love to her with a present, but also create memories they could cherish together forever.
Their next adventure was planned and they flew out of the country for a week vacation while Frederick had laid up piles of lies to his wife to explain some business summit he was travelling for.
They entered the elevator of the Hotel Sheraton in Dubai. The elevator door closed behind them cutting off the distinctive sound of the Arabic language, the frenzy at the hotel front desk, the chatter and laughter of families in the lobby, and the gleam of late December sunlight from the windows.
And then the doors opened again onto a floor of the hotel that was strangely empty, silent, and dark. It was a mid-week lull that only occurred between 10pm and 2am in Dubai and the room was quiet, dimly lit, and unoccupied. That was the perfect ambience they needed for the surging lust erupting within them already. The sexual energy was high and the tension between them exploded right after they shut the door after them in the room.
Frederick embraced her from behind and started to kiss the back of her neck lightly. He caressed around down to Anthonia’s stomach, grabbing it through the tight dress she was wearing that night before finally unzipping it swiftly with one hand while still holding onto her waist.
Kisses grew in intensity and caresses became more frequent as they explored each other’s bodies. His other hand grabbed both of hers, placing them on top of each headboard. She was taken aback at his sudden aggressiveness , yet couldn’t resist it all! She loved how he took charge and worked her body like a true expert. His hands dove into her hair, lips moved against each other passionately sending waves of pleasure through them both, frantically exploring every inch of their bodies against the sheets. Their rhythm intensified until finally with one last push from him, his body collapsed onto hers sending shockwaves through every cell of his being; trembling together for what seemed an eternity but could only have been minutes later.
They were lost in their moment – consumed by fiery love and unbridled passion that seemed to never run out. Eventually bowing out exhausted and felt completely drained physically yet, rejuvenated emotionally by having been able share such incomparable intimacy with each other, and contented after such an intense encounter satisfied beyond measure.
Anthonia looked up into his piercing eyes and she felt nothing less than pure blissful joy emanating within her heart, knowing that some things are simply meant to be treasured forever regardless if shared or not.
They kept on relishing each moments spent together at various places around the world. This gave them moments full of joy ensuring they keep good memories no one can take away from either one of them.

Frederick had been slowly but surely vanishing from Octavia’s life, his days and nights filled with a secret double life. Suspicion slowly crept into his wife’s heart like a snake slithering through the tall grass. She began to feel her world start to unravel from the stitching of her blind faith. She had noticed the smallest of changes in him that pointed to some form of deceit. Despite her attempts to convince herself otherwise, things didn’t add up; her husband was gone longer in the evening. He woke up earlier, returned home later, and his clothing reeked of a foreign womanly perfume. Octavia knew Frederick was hiding something; she could feel it in her core like a deep cold chill.
Her suspicions festered for months on end, and reached their peak one fateful day when she found confirmation in the most unlikely of places – deep within Frederick’s car. Tucked away was a scrap of paper containing a love note, freshly penned by Anthonia, his mistress; its words brimming with admiration and passionate declarations of secret love. In that moment, all of her fears had been realized; her husband had been unfaithful.
Octavia’s voice shrieked in fury as she hurled the incriminating letter at Frederick, her face filled with anguish. He caught the letter in his hand.
“What is this?” she cried out in outrage, her voice brimming with indignation.
“This doesn’t mean anything, I can explain,” Frederick said calmly.
“Explain what? That you’ve been lying to me for months about where you go each night? Or that you’ve been seeing someone else behind my back?” Octavia shouted.
Frederick was taken aback by the intensity of her anger, but he knew he had to face it head on. Every question cut through him like a knife as he  squirmed in his chair, feeling the heat of her anger wash over him. He tugged on the collar of his shirt, avoiding his wife’s gaze.
As much as he wanted to proclaim an innocence, he couldn’t deny his affair with Anthonia. His throat constricted and his cheeks burned with shame and guilt as he tried to deny the affair he had with her. He kept his eyes glued to the ground, desperately trying to untangle the knotted web of lies he had woven for himself. He stammered out a lie.
“Yes, I have been spending time with someone else, but I swear it isn’t the way you think it is,” he admitted.
Octavia scoffed in disbelief.
“Then what is it supposed to be? How could you do this to me after all we’ve been through together? After all our promises?” she asked, her voice shaking with emotion.
Frederick sighed and looked away for a moment before taking a deep breath and meeting her gaze again.
“I understand why you’re angry,” he began cautiously, “but I hope you’ll give me time to explain without jumping to conclusions.” He paused and waited for her to respond, but all she did was stare at him with a mixture of hurt and anger. He took this as his cue to continue.
“The person I’ve been seeing isn’t a romantic partner; she’s actually my therapist. For months I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety, and I just couldn’t bring myself to tell you because I was afraid of how you’d react.”
Octavia looked away, her eyes glassy with tears.
But she could see the truth in his eyes, the signs of an all-consuming infatuation that threatened to tear apart her marriage. She knew he had no intention of ending whatever affair it was. Her husband was consumed by it.
What she didn’t see was the truth that Frederick was deeply infatuated with Anthonia. She had given him something that his marriage hadn’t been able to-a spark of joy and contentment that he hadn’t felt in what seemed like a lifetime. The type that had been absent for years in his marriage. He had become so obsessed with her that he no longer cared about the consequences of his actions. His entire mind and body were engulfed by this clandestine romance.
