Paula Rouco asks, “Tell me, what brand is this sweater and how much does it cost?”.
Buena’s eyes panicked, but she quickly rationalized, “Why are you asking that question, why should I tell you?”
“Because I have exactly the same sweater, and precisely on the days I’m not in residence, that sweater disappears.”
At these words, Buena became irritated and said, “What do you mean, Paula Rouco, are you saying that I stole from you?”.
The burns she received earlier were accidental and she left in a hurry, so the locker was unlocked for the approximately ten days she was gone.
And before he left, the closet was clean and tidy, but now it was a mess.
Paula Rouco said with a sullen little face, “I want to fix this internally, but if you insist on being so unrepentant, then I’ll have to call the…. Police.”
Buena gritted her teeth: “Paula Rouco! So what if I used it to wear it! I’ll give it back to you.”
In a huff, Buena made peace with the situation and let her escape.
“So now you admit you took this sweater from my locker?”
Buena bit her tongue, her face was blue and white with embarrassment, but she was brazen to the end, “So what if I borrowed your clothes for a few days? We’re housemates, don’t you have any classy love?”.
“Indeed we are housemates, but only if you have treated me as a friend and have the slightest respect for me, if you don’t have even the most basic respect for me, why should I have any classmate love for you?”.
Buena bit her lip and glared fiercely at Paula Rouco, “Then this is all off the table, isn’t it?”
Buena pulled her sweater off her body and threw it over Paula Rouco, “Back to you! It’s fine like that!”
The jumper fell to the floor and Paula Rouco did not bend down to pick it up, nor did she go back to face Buena.
Instead, she turned around and went to the closet, fetched a few items of clothing she always wears and put them in the suitcase, and stuffed her usual skin care products and cosmetic lipsticks in the case.
Rio saw this and asked, “Paulita, are you moving? Buena got confused for a moment, don’t get mad at her, we have lived together for a long time at least, just talk it over, you don’t have to move out.”
Paula Rouco packed her bags and walked out of the bedroom without looking at the sweater on the floor, dragging her suitcase and books without looking back.
Buena clenched her fists, glanced at the sweater on the floor and asked between clenched teeth, “What do you mean, Paula Rouco, you don’t want to throw my clothes away even if you think they’re dirty?
Rio frowned and glared at her, “Buena, this is your fault, find a chance to apologize properly to Paulita later!”.
Buena was so proud of herself that she refused, “I don’t want it! Is she the only girl in the world, who am I to look at her?”
Rio couldn’t look away and made an extra comment, “Paulita has been out lately and you say you don’t use her skin care products or her lipstick any mornings? If I were Paulita, I’d be mad too because you touch people’s things without saying hello.”
Buena’s eyes were red with anger and she yelled at Rio, “Since Paula Rouco’s family is doing well and doing you guys little favors, now you and Analeigh are on her side too, right?”
Rio was speechless and sighed, “Don’t bother talking to you.”

Severo Laris was in court today, and after the afternoon session, he returned to the firm and took care of some more work-related business.
It was 8:30 p. m. when we were ready to go home.
Sliding her phone over to check her contacts and Facebook, it was a rarity that the little thing hadn’t messaged her all day.
I don’t know if the kids have eaten yet.
Severo Laris returned home and opened the door entering the code, when suddenly a little Claudio thingy jumped into his arms and wrapped around his neck tightly.
“Surprise!”
Severo Laris thought the house had been burglarized and reached for the little one in his arms, asking with downcast eyes, “I thought you were staying at the shelter tonight, why are you here again?”
Paula Rouco looked up into his handsome face, “You’re not welcome, I thought I’d surprise you.”
Severo Laris lost his smile and joked, “No surprise, just a scare. I thought there had been a burglar in the house.”
“Hmm.”
Severo Laris raised his hand and turned on the hall light and the room brightened.
When the lights came on, Severo Laris saw the silver suitcase he had placed in the foyer.
A large hand squeezed his small waist, and in a low voice he asked, “Is this a long-term presence?”
“And are you welcome?”
“You have half of this house, so what right do I have not to be welcome.”
Paula Rouco froze: “What do you mean, half of me?”
They are not married, not to mention that matrimonial law now states that premarital property is not considered community property.
“The deed to the property has your name on it.”
“…” Paula Rouco was a little confused.
Severo Laris didn’t say much, he looked at her dumbfounded, his long fingers cupped her little face, “Have you had dinner yet?”
Paula Rouco shook her head, not having eaten, having dragged her suitcase after her morning classes, and still ordering take-out for lunch.
When Severo Laris enters the house, he sees the boxes of untouched fast food on the open kitchen counter.
The man raised a hand and pinched his forehead, “That’s all you’ve had for lunch?”
Paula Rouco stumbled over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist from behind. “Yeah, it’s not like I can cook.”
Severo Laris returned her gaze, cold and downward, and she shrank back and said pitifully, “I’d starve without you.”
“…”
Sticky, can’t do anything with her.
Severo Laris picked up the fast food boxes from the corridor and threw them in the garbage can, then went to open the fridge and scanned it, there were tomatoes, eggs and also ham and some pasta, no problem to make a simple dinner.
“Tomato and egg noodles, would you like some?”
“Eat!”
Severo Laris worked quickly, and in fifteen minutes, two steaming bowls of tomato and egg noodles were ready.
The two sit at the corridor table, facing each other and eating a simple dinner.
Paula Rouco ate it all and finished with the compliment, “My boyfriend’s noodles with tomato and egg, also very good!”.
Severo Laris pinched her little nose: “Tell me, why did you suddenly move your luggage?”.
“… Can’t I miss you?”
Severo Laris looked at her piercingly, “But someone said yesterday that you were going to stay in the school dormitory for the week and that you were going to study hard.”
Paula Rouco was uncomfortable with his stare and tugged at his sleeve with her small hand, “Not that good studying has anything to do with thinking about you.”
Severo Laris removed the china from the counter, lifted her by the small of her back and led her to sit on the counter, with the man’s long, strong arms resting on either side of her body.
Surrounding her, he looked down at her and asked patiently, like a father, “Did you get into a fight with your roommate?”
“I … um.” I wanted to explain something, but in the end I didn’t know what to say, so Lita admitted.
“It’s normal for kids to fight with each other, don’t worry.”
Paula Rouco nudged her little mouth, “I’m not a little kid.”
“You’re still not a little kid? Kicking the sheets in bed, not being able to cook, having little tantrums when you’re ignored, that’s not being a toddler.”
“…” Paula Rouco was speechless.
After a moment, suddenly thinking of something, the girl glowered at him and replied, “If I were a little girl, then you’d still be looking for a little girl to be your girlfriend!”
Severus Laris smiled slightly with his eyebrows and raised his hand to give her a chestnut smack on the forehead, “Defeated.”
