City F, Country M.
Claudio Belles was trapped in this villa for a whole day.
The day she was trapped, she finally realized what Clement Virgin was.
The maid brought porridge and urged Claudio Belles to eat it, “Miss Nita, you haven’t eaten much all day, eat something, if you don’t, I’m sure the Mr. ito will blame us.”
Claudio Belles took the bowl of porridge and gulped it down at once, wiping the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand.
“Where is your young master? I want to see him.”
“The young master has not yet returned.”
As we were talking, a black Bentley business car pulled up in front of the courtyard.
It was drizzling.
The driver got out of the car first, held up a black umbrella and opened the back seat door.
Clemente Virgen gets out of the back seat with long legs and walks to the villa under the umbrella.
Once at the house, Clemente Virgen saw Claudio Belles guarding the door, apparently waiting for him, and his heart warmed slightly in his mouth.
“Waiting for me?”
Claudio Belles looked at him and said, “I remember who you are, you are Clemente, aren’t you?”
Clemente, the name his mother, the headmistress, gave Clemente Virgen when he was a boy at the orphanage.
Clemente’s name.
Clemente Virgen stood in the doorway of the house with the handle of his umbrella in one hand, staring into her face for a long time.
When he heard her say “Clemente,” his heart skipped a beat.
Clemente Virgen handed the umbrella to the maid and walked straight past Claudio Belles, his back to her, breathing deeply, his face calm and indifferent, “At last you have remembered who I am.”
Claudio Belles pursed the corners of his lips and said, “Thank you for saving me.”
Even after knowing who he was, was that all the thanks he was getting?
Clemente Virgen went straight up the stairs.
Claudio Belles followed him.
When they reached the study, Claudio Belles said, “Clemente Virgen, did you save me just to have me here?”
Clemente Virgen looked at his papers and said casually, “My ultimate goal is not to keep you locked up.”
“Then what do you want before you let me go?”
“Are you that anxious to get back to this Eduardo Tercero?”
Clemente Virgen’s face was cold and his voice suddenly rose with anger.
Claudio Belles was slightly stunned, then smiled faintly, “You seem to have done quite a bit of research on me.”
Clement Virgin stood up, walked over to her, grabbed her wrist, and spoke in a stony voice, “Now that you remember who I am, don’t you have anything to say to me? I thought you would have a lot to tell me after our reunion.”
Claudio Belles smiled slightly, a lighthearted smile, “What happened more than ten years ago is in the past, what is there to say? I thank you very much for saving my life and I’m glad to be with you again, but you really don’t have to think much about me, we’re just passing through each other’s lives.”
Clement Virgin frowned, sulking at his indifferent expression and those overly bland words.
“Do you still blame me for not taking you with me, back then? My grandfather didn’t approve then, and I …”
Before Clement Virgin could finish his sentence, Claudius Belles interrupted, “I don’t blame you, you were young too and you were found by your family to take you home, I only lost a childhood playmate, yes I felt bad at the time, but I didn’t blame you. And, shortly after you left, I was adopted too.”
“To you, I was just a childhood playmate?”
Claudio Belles was stunned and looked at Clemente Virgen’s deep gaze. “You wouldn’t have been looking for me all these years, would you?”
A childhood heartbreak, but a willow in the heart of a man with a heart.
“I love you, no matter who lives in your heart.”
“… But I don’t love him. I have a boyfriend.”
Clement Virgin laughed without anger, “Nowadays you can get divorced while married, from boyfriends, it’s not like you can say you separate.”
“…”
Claudio Belles, surprisingly blocked, didn’t know what to say and asked directly, “When are you going to release me?”
Clement Virgin’s dark eyes looked at her seriously and narrowed slightly, “Until you fall in love with me.”
“…”
Claudio Belles gritted his teeth: “Clemente Virgen, do you think this is an idol show?”.
Clemente Virgen snapped the back of his neck and stepped closer, “Nita, I’ve waited so long for you, I’ve searched for you so long, do you think I would give you up so easily?”
“But getting lost between us is getting lost, I already have someone I love.”
“That doesn’t matter, what matters is that right now, you and I, we need to get along.”
“…”
Pervert! Twisted!
Claudio Belles shoved him away, “Clemente Virgen, listen to me well, no matter how long you keep me in your house, I’m not going to fall in love with you.”
“Then we’ll try and see who can’t stand it first.”
“Try, try, and send someone to watch me all day if you can, or I’ll run away as soon as I get the chance.”
…
City H, night shrouded in darkness.
Edward the Third was sitting in his study, one hand on his forehead, his face weary.
Old K had heard some news and immediately rushed to report: “President Eduardo Tercero”.
Eduardo Tercero’s eyes twitched slightly, he looked up and asked, “Any news from Claudio?”.
Old K swallowed saliva and said, “I found out where the car had gone that day, it must have been to Weihai Cliffs, and then I immediately sent someone to Weihai Cliffs, where I found a bullet.”
Old K handed the bullet to Eduardo Tercero.
On the bullet was a very small symbol, a symbol that was very familiar to him.
Old K said, “The symbol on this bullet represents the Dragon Gate Gangsters in M. But Miss Claudio and the Dragon Gate Gangsters, how could they be involved?”
“Forget about that for now, Old K, first you run a secret mission in M to find out about Claudio.”
“Yes.”
Edward the Third let out a small sigh of relief, now it looked like Claudius at least was alive, as long as he was.
Old K added, “By the way, President Eduardo Tercero, from that junk I found this. It’s probably a gift that Miss Claudio wanted to give to President Eduardo Tercero.”
Old K handed the paper bag to Eduardo Tercero.
Eduardo Tercero opened the gift box and inside was a brand new navy blue striped tie.
A faint smile clouded Eduardo Tercero’s brow. Was this the gift Claudio had chosen for him for his birthday?
He just hadn’t gotten around to it, hoping she would give it to him.
The thought that she might be in danger at that moment made his frown sink in again. “Have you figured out who the suspects are?”
“One is dead, sunk at sea, and there is another, who is being hunted, it will take some time as he has fled out of the country.”
“Make sure you catch that one.”
Old K nodded, “Definitely.”
…
Claudio Belles had been trapped in Villa La familia Virgen for three days and had used every escape option.
He tried to call Eduardo Tercero, but found that all the communication devices in the house were unable to contact the outside world.
It was nighttime.
Clemente Virgen, drunk, walks briskly up the stairs, not to his bedroom or study, but directly to Claudio Belles’ room.
Without knocking, he pushes the door and enters.
Claudio Belles was fixing a communication device that seemed to be undergoing a transformation.
Clemente Virgen’s eyes sparkled, and he walked over to her, snatched the communication device from her hand and threw it to the floor with a thud.
It shattered into pieces with a loud crack, and the sound of the breakage was especially clear in the quiet of the night.
Clemente Virgen grabbed Claudio Belles by the arm and wrapped his arms around her, lowering his head to kiss her.
Clemente Virgen took advantage of her drunken state, while Claudio Belles was sober.
Claudio Belles kicked her with his raised leg: “Clemente Virgen! You are not allowed to touch me.”
