Country R, City H.
“Well, have you found Miss Claudio’s people yet?”
“Not yet, just the car Miss Claudio was in when she went to the airport, it’s scrapped, it was found in a recycling plant.”
Old K sent group after group of men to find Claudio Belles, but still to no avail.
“Go ahead and make sure you find Miss Claudio’s men!”
“Yes.”
Two days had passed and there was no news of Claudio Belles. If Miss Claudio was really in H-Town, how would he explain to President Eduardo Tercero?
…
The Western Frontier.
Eduardo Tercero calls Claudio Belles every other day, not every day, because he said it seemed to him that calling every day to see how he was doing was not like saying hello or missing him, but like checking up on him.
Eduardo Tercero was not the kind of boyfriend who held on too tightly, so they talked once every other day, in perfect harmony.
This time, however, Eduardo Tercero had called three or four times, but was unable to get through.
He had a vague feeling that something was wrong.
In the midst of his thoughts, Eduardo Tercero’s cell phone rang, and it was K.
He picked it up.
“K, what’s wrong?”
“President Eduardo Tercero” … Miss Claudio something may have happened.”
…
It was night and Eduardo Tercero had made the windy trip back to H-Town from the border.
As soon as he got out of the car, it was not to La Villa Real that he returned, but to the Tercero family.
The man bursts into the Tercero family in a stern manner.
At that moment, David Tercero was about to go to sleep and, hearing the commotion, he frowns a little, comes out of his bedroom in his house suit and asks the butler, “What is it?”
“My lord, the prince has returned.”
David the Third’s frown deepened, “He is at the border, why has he returned for no reason?”.
“That … I don’t know.”
As soon as the butler’s words were out of his mouth, Edward Tercero had strided into the main house, all hostile and grim.
“You sent someone to do what happened to Claudio!”
David Tercero spoke with a stern face and a cold, cutting voice, “No sooner had you returned than you burst into the house full of murderous questions, and I didn’t ask you if you had permission to return to H-Town from the border?”
Eduardo Tercero questioned, “Are you being vain, or are you hiding?”
“Eduardo Tercero, is this the way you should talk to your father?”
Eduardo Tercero stared at him and asked, word for word, “First you answer me, whether or not you did or did not do what happened to Claudio!”
David Tercero was furious, his hands clenched into fists behind his back as he answered with contempt: “A woman is worth being absent for, Eduardo Tercero, you are confused!”
Anger, hatred for his son, was in his eyes.
The hostility between father and son was growing.
The old butler could not resist speaking to Eduardo Tercero: “Prince, truly you do not understand your lordship, that Miss Claudio did come to The Tercero family two days ago, but … ”
Before the old butler could say anything, David Tercero interrupted at once and scolded, “Julian!”
indicating to the butler to shut up.
“What is Claudio doing here in The Tercero Family – did you send someone to kidnap her and bring her to H-Town?”
David Tercero turned his back on him, took a deep breath, smoothed the fire in his stomach and said with a frown, “I didn’t send anyone to kidnap her, I asked your two best men to invite her here, she came to see me of her own free will!”
Eduardo Tercero curved his lips mockingly, “What difference does it make?”
“Eduardo Tercero, if you’ve had enough of this, go back to the border right now!”
David Tercero’s blood rushed to the surface, and for a moment, swords were drawn between father and son.
Eduardo Tercero drew his pistol and pointed it at David Tercero.
The butler, alarmed, said, “The prince must not!”
“Don’t stop him, let him shoot! You don’t think it a joke to point a pistol at your own father for a woman!”
Edward Tercero looked at his majestic father with scarlet eyes, his dark eyes were cold, “I ask you once again, did you have anything to do with Claudio’s accident or not?”
David Tercero let out a cold snort of disdain, “If I had wanted to get rid of her, I would have done it openly and honestly, not behind her back.”
With these words, David Tercero turned and walked up the stairs, not once glancing at Eduardo Tercero, who was standing on the first floor.
The butler glanced at David Tercero’s back and said to Eduardo Tercero with a sigh, “My Prince, how can you so misunderstand His Lordship? ”
Eduardo Tercero dropped the arm that held the black pistol.
Care was a mess.
He had returned to H-City overnight from the frontier, his mind full of welfare and life and death of Claudius.
“Prince, although you and His Lordship are different from the usual bond between father and son, how can His Lordship get rid of someone he really likes, Prince?”
Edward the Third raised his eyes to look up and pursed his thin lips, knowing he had gone too far in his party.
“Uncle Julian, help me to … apologize to father.”
When the Julian heard this, he quickly smiled slightly, “Hey! Good. The matter of Miss Claudio, the prince also don’t fret too much, Miss Claudio after all is not an ordinary woman, she won’t be so easily in danger.”
Edward Third nodded, shook her hand cordially and turned to stride away from The Third family.
…
Upstairs, the study.
Julian knocked on the door and entered, “My lord, the prince has left and asked me to apologize for misunderstanding you.”
David Tercero looked down at his papers and growled coldly, tossing the papers in his hands on the desk impatiently.
“In the middle of the night, even though you flew in from the border without permission, didn’t even know how to say hello when you got home, and the moment you entered the house you were interrogating, this boy sure has stiffened his wings, and now he dares to pull a pistol on me.
The prince is also in a hurry, you two have the same temperament, you know what the prince is like. In his eyes, the prince will always be a child, why are you angry with a child?”
“Humph, a child? You’re already in your thirties, and you’re still so angry? Disturbing my dreams in the middle of the night.”
David Tercero frowned, annoyed, and picked up the papers again, glancing at them again, but still feeling angry at the thought of the bastard child who had just pointed a gun at him.
He couldn’t resist spitting again, “Apologize? Didn’t he come to apologize himself and ask you to relay the message?”
Julian: “…”
“Pah,” David Tercero threw the document hard on the table, “Raised for nothing! You’re going to turn your back on me for a woman! If I had really touched that woman of yours that day, Julian, do you think I would have shot myself with a gun tonight to finish the job?”
The Julian smirked, “That’s not possible.”
“It’s not possible? I think it is.”
The more he said, the angrier he got.
“That’s enough, let’s not mention it! What a son, I think he’s a debt collector!”
The Julian couldn’t resist asking, “The prince has returned to H-Town without permission, and I’m sure there will be a barrage of gunfire against the cabinet tomorrow.”
David the Third grimaced angrily and helplessly, “I’m pissed and I have to deal with him! It doesn’t hurt to get him and that woman the hell out of R! Save me the trouble!”
Father and son are bound by blood, and it is difficult to break the bond.
Lao Yu said affectionately, “If the prince really leaves, you won’t see him once or twice a year, you really don’t want to?”.
David the Third raised his eyebrows and said in a cold voice, “What do you want? You want him to come home and have a fight with me.”
Tough talk.
Julian laughed and shook his head.
…
Back to the Villa Real.
Old K was driving and Eduardo Tercero was sitting in the back seat, with a cold and indifferent face, neither sadness nor joy showing.
“President Eduardo Tercero, it is actually good that there is no news from Miss Claudio at this time.”
Eduardo Tercero’s face was slightly downcast, hands in his lap, all ten fingers clenched, knuckles slightly white.
In the dim light of the car, no emotion was visible on his downcast face.
All that could be heard was Eduardo Tercero’s voice, hoarse and gravelly from decay, shouting, “Old K.”
“Well, what happened to President Eduardo Tercero?”
“You know, all this way back to H-City from the frontier, I suddenly realized that I’m not afraid of anything, even if it means losing my position as Master of the Court, but I am afraid of one thing, losing Claudio and having nothing to look forward to for the rest of my life.”
