That night, Jonathan Tasis sat at the top of the stairs until dawn, repeatedly scrolling through the blog, but Eleanora Lozada did not respond to the unknown bead’s message.
The New Year arrived with the sound of firecrackers, but for Jonathan Tasis it was like any other New Year, with little to look forward to.
The relationship between The Tasis family and their son is on the rocks. When Analena Lozada was alive, Jonathan Tasis didn’t feel so lonely, but now that Jonathan Tasis has lost the only person he cares about, he’s even colder.
For Jonathan Tasis, the hustle and bustle of Chinese New Year is even lonelier.
…
Chinese New Year is over and spring has finally arrived in the Holy City.
For the past two months, Jonathan Tasis has been quietly following Eleanora Lozada’s blog as a stranger, his soy sauce account, to leave messages for Eleanora Lozada, and eventually, Eleanora Lozada started to respond to this account called “Mr. Tasis”.
Some time later, Eleanora Lozada found out that this Mr. J had friendzoned her on his blog, and Eleanora Lozada mistakenly agreed.
Eleanora Lozada sensed something familiar about this Mr. J, but couldn’t pinpoint what it was, so she clicked on the online chat bar and sent a message.
“Do you know me…?”
But for a long time no response was received from this Mr. J.
Jonathan Tasis left the conference room after the meeting, only to see a blog message from Eleanora Lozada that had been sent to him an hour earlier.
Fearing Eleanora Lozada’s suspicions and the risk of blowing his cover, Jonathan Tasis replied, “I don’t know you, I just liked the pictures you took and the location Mountain City. ”
After Jonathan Tasis sent this message, he remained on the online chat screen and did not log off, but Eleanora Lozada probably logged off long ago and did not respond to him.
…
Alquezar, Alquezar School.
In March, in the Mountain City, everything comes back to life, although there is still a bit of spring chill in the morning and evening.
Eleanora Lozada leaves the classroom with her books in her arms after teaching her last class.
In the next class, a student handed Eleanora Lozada a beautiful bouquet of wildflowers.
“Professor Eleanora, this is from Professor Tomas. ”
Eleanora Lozada was a bit taken aback and after accepting the bouquet, the student added, “Professor Eleanora, I’m sure Professor Tomas likes it!”
Eleanora Lozada, somewhat embarrassed, feigned a glare at the student and said, “Don’t talk nonsense being a child, pack your backpack and go home for dinner.”
The boy finished his homework and ran back to class jumping and skipping.
Eleanora Lozada looked at the bouquet of flowers in her hands and, clutching her books, was about to return to the staff dormitory when she was called by a male voice behind her.
“Professor Eleanora.”
Tomas Salcedo walked up, smiled and asked, “Professor Eleanora, you haven’t had dinner either, shall we eat together?”
Eleanora Lozada meekly refused, “No, I would like to take my books to the dormitory and rest for a while, I am not hungry yet. By the way, thank you for the flowers, they are very nice.”
Tomas Salcedo, a teacher who arrived around the same time as Eleanora Lozada, is quiet, polite and gets along well with Eleanora Lozada.
Eleanora Lozada could also tell that he was interested in her. It’s not that she didn’t want to accept a new relationship, it’s just that … she wasn’t in a position to accept someone new right now.
Tomas Salcedo scratched his head and laughed, “It’s not a rose, it’s just a wildflower picked in the bush and I was afraid you would hate it.”
“Well yes, wildflowers are flowers too, and they are no less wild than hillside roses.”
Tomas Salcedo follows Eleanora Lozada, heading to the faculty residence.
Tomas Salcedo looked at Eleanora Lozada’s kind, clear face and plucked up the courage to ask, “Professor Eleanora, I don’t suppose you … have a boyfriend yet.”
Eleanora Lozada shook her head and said with sincerity, “No, I’m alone now.”
“So … can you be my girlfriend?”
Eleanora Lozada paused and turned to look seriously at Tomas Salcedo, “Professor Tomas, I am single now yes, but … I am pregnant.”
Tomas Salcedo blurted out, “You, what did you say?”.
Eleanora Lozada reached out unconsciously and touched her not yet swollen belly, dropping her watery eyes with a hint of tenderness in them, and said, “I broke up with the father of my child, but after doing so, I found out I was pregnant.”
“…”
A silence ensued.
Eleanora Lozada stretched her lips into a smile, “Did she seem especially opinionated to you? And you think I’m not exactly what you thought I was?”
Tomas Salcedo, surprised by the news, raised his hand and scratched his hair, saying in a slightly slurred voice, “I just didn’t expect … I would think so badly of you. I thought it was unexpected.”
“I’m probably not the same as the girl you think is a good family man, I’ve had less than stellar relationships and now I have a little life in my belly, so we’re not quite right for each other, I’m not good enough for you, you don’t have to feel guilty.”
“Professor Eleanora, I… I didn’t mean that, I like you very much. By the way, does the baby’s father know about your pregnancy?”
Eleanora Lozada smiled weakly and shook her head, “He doesn’t know.”
“So … you’re not going to tell him?”
“I’m done with him, the baby is mine, it has nothing to do with him, he doesn’t have to know.”
Under Tomas Salcedo’s eyes flickered a certain startle, which Eleanora Lozada noted matter-of-factly, “Did I startle you?”
“I didn’t expect you to look like a weak woman with so much courage and determination, it’s hard being a single mother.”
“I know.”
Tomas Salcedo was silent for a moment and then asked, “Why did you come to teach if you were pregnant?”
Eleanora Lozada looked at her lower back and said, “I didn’t know it existed until I got here.”
…
Upon returning to the hostel, Eleanora Lozada had to connect to the wireless network for half a day. The network here is very slow and goes down often, it’s not very stable, so Eleanora Lozada doesn’t connect much, she just reads blogs and stuff every night and connects for a very short time.
She opened her laptop and had just logged into her blog when she got a message from that Mr. J.
Mr. J said he just liked the pictures she took and that’s why he was following her.
Out of politeness, Eleanora Lozada responded with two words, “Thank you.”
Eleanora Lozada did not wait for a response, thinking the conversation was over, and was about to leave the online chat box when she returned in almost seconds.
Mr. J: “Looking at the location of your picture, I’m guessing it’s a mountainous area, your school and your children, I’m guessing they need financial help as well.”
Eleanora Lozada was stunned, was this Mr. J trying to be charitable?
“Yes, our side of the country is Mountain City, communications and transportation are not very well developed and the children’s families are not very well off, and because it is Mountain City, the school district often has to be rebuilt when there is the occasional natural disaster, such as a landslide.”
Eleanora Lozada said this casually, and Mr. J behind the computer screen had already responded with a quick “I can help you.”
Eleanora Lozada thought the other person was joking, after all, doing charity is not so casual, and said no more than two words, “Thank you.”
Mr. J replied again, “It’s not very convenient to talk here, add my personal contact details and we’ll talk about it.”
Eleanora Lozada: …
This Mr. J didn’t even know her school, he just saw some pictures she took, and even though they showed the scenery of Mountain City and pictures of the kids on a spring trip, they just chatted online, and based on that, this Mr. J wanted to donate money to them. Eleanora Lozada doesn’t understand if this Mr. J is very caring or if he is just very rich.
When other people run charities, they usually do it through government channels because, if they do, not only will they not be cheated, but they also satisfy the donor’s sense of accomplishment.
This Mr. J, with his private donation, is not the high-profile style of charity, he is a little too discreet.
Mr. J quickly sent his personal contact details, which was a micro signal.
Eleanora Lozada was genuinely trying to get some funding for the school and the children, after all it is a godsend, and out of the most instinctive human curiosity to know if this Mr. J was having a good time or really wanted to donate money.
Eleanora Lozada added this Mr. J to her personal WeChat.

The Holy City, Film and Television Company Yahua Building, inside the President’s office.
Tulio Moralez was a bit puzzled as to why BOSS had gone to one of his smaller weibo numbers, which had nothing on it and had added no one.
Jonathan Tasis, using that smaller weibo of Tulio Moralez, said, “From now on this weibo will be mine.”
“Okay, boss.”
