At the outdoor pool, Estrella Berrocal accompanies Paulita for a dip in the pool.
Paulita holds a small yellow duck swim ring and wears a matching yellow cartoon swim cap, with her two short little paws stomping in the pool.
Although the pool was not deep and Paulita was swimming a bit on three legs and wearing a kiddie swim ring, Estrella Berrocal was still unsure and kept an eye on her.
Adam Rouco, standing by the floor-to-ceiling window after answering Esteban Zaragosa’s call, looks at his wife and daughter in the pool with a loving gaze.
The man leaves the house and walks long-legged toward the pool.
But Paulita and Estrella Berrocal were in the pool with their backs to him and did not see him coming. In a rare moment of jocularity, Adam Rouco knelt down, grabbed a handful of water and sprayed it on Estrella Berrocal and Paulita.
Estrella Berrocal and Paulita were inexplicably splashed from behind and when they turned their heads, they saw Adam Rouco looking at them playfully.
Paulita swam up to them with her little legs glaring, “Daddy you’re bad! Daddy has snuck up behind us.”
Paulita came up and slapped her little hands against the water, splashing Adam Rouco all over.
Estrella Berrocal came out of the water and plopped down on the shore, looking up at him, “What are you doing, not coming down to swim with us?”
Adam Rouco’s dark eyes seared her, “If Paulita is not here, I can swim with you.”
Estrella Berrocal didn’t answer for a moment, but Paulita tilted her little face and asked, “Daddy, why don’t you come down and swim with Estrella and me when I’m here?”
“It’s more fun for me to swim with Estrella, it’s no fun to take you with a bag of boobs.”
Estrella Berrocal’s cheeks were slightly hot, man!
Estrella Berrocal reached out and poured a handful of water over Adam Rouco.
“Adam Rouco, it’s not spring!”
Paulita cocked her little head to one side and wondered what she could do in the spring … spring.
Adam Rouco reached out and took Estrella Berrocal by the arm, drawing her to his side and saying in a voice only the two of them could hear, “Do you need a season to be `coquettish’ with your wife?”
The man’s handsome face, his dark eyes, were full of emotion.
Estrella Berrocal, thin-skinned and a little embarrassed, jerked away from his grip on her arm, “No more talk, I’m going to take a bath with Paulita. ”
But Adam Rouco caught her again, “Let me tell you something.”
“What is it? If you’re immodest again, I’ll throw you in the water.”
Adam Rouco looked amused at his young wife, “It’s only been less than two years of marriage and Estrella, why are you moving in the direction of a tough woman?”
Estrella Berrocal shot him a sour look, “If I am the harpy, you are the harpy.”
Adam Rouco crouched by the pool, reached out and touched her wet face, his eyes suddenly serious, and said, “I have to go on a business trip first thing in the morning.”
“Business trip? Where are you going on a business trip? For how long?”
“To Z.”
Estrella Berrocal frowned, “Since when did Fu’s business expand to Z? Why haven’t I heard him mention it before.”
“It happened suddenly, it may take some time and he won’t be back soon.”
Estrella Berrocal had a look of reluctance in her eyes, “Then take care of yourself while you’re away on business, Paulita and I will miss you.”
Adam Rouco looked at her watery face and his eyes deepened slightly, “That’s it?”.
Estrella Berrocal knew exactly what the man meant, and as Paulita played in the water on the other side of the pool, the woman wrapped her slender arms around his neck, pulled his face down and kissed him on his thin, pink lips.
“So, is that enough?”
“Not enough.”
Not enough.
Adam Rouco pulled her out of the pool and scooped her up in his arms and into The Villas at Repulse Bay.
Estrella Berrocal exclaimed, “Hey, what are you doing, Paulita is still in the pool.”
Upon entering the villa, Cari ran into Adam Rouco hugging Estrella Berrocal and felt slightly embarrassed.
However, Adam Rouco, with a calm face, ordered, “Cari, Paulita is still in the pool, keep an eye on her, let Paulita play for half an hour more and come up later.”
Cari nodded, “Yes, sir.”
Adam Rouco carries Estrella Berrocal in his arms and strides upstairs to the second floor bedroom.
Cari: What’s the hurry, sir?
