Esteban Zaragosa, behind the pile of snow, was startled.
His eyesight is excellent and his hearing is equally good.
When Dulcina Calvo removed her scarf to expose her nose and beak, Esteban Zaragosa got a good look at the chubby little penguin’s face.
It is the face of the pilgrim.
Esteban Zaragosa was even so excited that he could not immediately get up from behind the pile of snow.
Just as Dulcina Calvo shouted for the second time, Esteban Zaragosa came out from behind the pile of snow, taking long strides.
Dulcina Calvo was turning her back to him until Esteban Zaragosa came up behind her, Dulcina Calvo hung her little head, looking at her new reflection reflected next to her own figure in the snow, panting slightly, her heart beating so fast that she even held her breath.
Is it Esteban Zaragosa?
He did not dare to turn around.
In case it isn’t, the odds of encountering a bad guy in this icy, barren world are much greater than encountering a good guy.
The shadow, arms outstretched, took her in a hug from behind, “Darling. ”
When Dulcina Calvo heard the familiar male voice, she turned quickly and threw herself into his arms, stretching out her own and hugging him tightly as well.
The emotion of meeting again after a farewell made Dulcina Calvo burst into tears, “Woo … I finally see you … I just thought I really couldn’t find you woo…. …”
The sound of crying in his arms made Esteban Zaragosa’s chest tremble.
Esteban Zaragosa slightly turned away from the person in his arms, “Let me look at you.”
Dulcina Calvo lifted her face, buried in his arms, and stared into his deep, dark eyes as he reached up and gently wiped the tears from her face with his fingers.
“Why have you avoided me?”
Esteban Zaragosa could not help himself: “With you dressed like that and showing only two eyes, I thought someone had been sent to assassinate me”.
Dulcina Calvo snarled, “And you laugh, would I be in a place like this if it weren’t for you?”
At the mention of it, Esteban Zaragosa asked, “How did you know I was here, and furthermore, who sent you?”
“It was your righteous father who sent me here.”
Esteban Zaragosa’s brow furrowed, why would his honored father do this?
Dulcina Calvo was the person closest to him, but Dulcina Calvo did not know her father very well and, given his character, would not have given anyone outside Ming’s organization any information about them or the location of their missions.
Dulcina Calvo put her little arms around him and pouted: “Anyway, I don’t care, I’m here, you can’t throw me out, even if…. even if you’re going to throw me out, at least let me see you for a few days before you let me go, I haven’t seen you for a month …. …”
Esteban Zaragosa lifted Dulcina Calvo with one arm and Dulcina Calvo threw her arms around his neck and looked at him with a smile on her face.
Her eyes were warm, full of love and missing.
Esteban Zaragosa’s heart was as soft as a sponge, and he could not refuse her request, his voice whispering one word: “Yes”.
Dulcina Calvo smiles even more sweetly, her watery eyes curving like crescent moons, her lips red and her teeth white in a way that makes Esteban Zaragosa’s heart flutter.
Driven by conscience, Esteban Zaragosa kissed his girl.
If one disregards Orlondo Marta’s intentions and purposes in sending Dulcina to him, looking only at the affair, Esteban Zaragosa is naturally glad that every day she is away, she misses him as much as he does, if not more.
She was well dressed and even softer in his arms, but Esteban Zaragosa wanted to hold her closer and, after releasing her, he reached up and rubbed her little head, his gaze deep and focused on her, a warm pampering smile finally spreading across the corners of his lips.
How wonderful, a thousand hills, that you have come to him so bravely.
Like a child, Dulcina Calvo threw herself back into his arms, her chubby arms in the comforter wrapped tightly around his waist, her face rubbing against his, never tiring.
“Sugar, have you finished eating?”
At the mention of the candy he left behind, Dulcina Calvo blew out her beard and glared at him, growled and said, “I ate all the candy you left behind long ago, and you said you’d be back after you ate it, you liar.”
“Then next time, I’ll leave two cans so there’s enough time and you don’t say I lied to you again.”
The girl frowned her white brow and a hint of sadness crossed her eyes, “Why do you keep more and more?”.
The more candy she leaves, the longer she stays out, but Dulcina Calvo doesn’t like it.
Esteban Zaragosa looked at the girl with a slight pain in his heart, “Okay, next time don’t go so far.”
Dulcina Calvo felt satisfied, even if she was only lying to him, and the next moment the girl boasted: “Look at me, you didn’t come back when the candy ran out, so I came looking for you and found you, you should appreciate it, look how hot your girlfriend is”.
He patted his chest with a proud look that was extremely endearing to Esteban Zaragosa’s eyes.
Esteban Zaragosa once again pulled the chubby penguin into his arms and hugged him tightly, their shadows stretched long and wide as they embraced in the snow.
In the firm, confident chest, the girl sighed in relief, “Esteban Zaragosa, what to do.”
“Hmm?”
“I seem to be falling more and more in love with you…”
So in love that he was willing to come to this icy hell even for her sake.
Esteban Zaragosa bent his head and kissed her hard on the forehead, taking her small, exposed, cold hand and stretching it between his arms.
