Giselle’s POV:
The guy standing behind me was my past lover. He said I was boring when he cheated on me. I was unable to keep him interested. I was unable to satisfy him alone.
What if triplets began to feel the same?
When Tyler cheated on me with Nina, I promised myself that I would never date an Alpha ever again, but see the game of destiny, I mated to not only one or two, but three equally gorgeous Greek God Alphas!
I don’t know how I am going to keep three Alphas interested in me! The fear of losing triplets was killing me.
I guess the tension radiating from my body was evident, as Stefan began to pat my back and whispered in my ear, “What happened?”
“Nothing” I replied in barely a whisper.
My eyes fell on Riven, who was still standing there quietly. His eyes were stuck at me and he didn’t even blink or look away like he used to do whenever our eyes met.
I parted from Stefan and turned towards Riven. My back was still facing Tyler and the werewolves with him.
“Riven, you are fine?” I asked in a concerned tone.
I was keeping my distance as I knew Riven needed time to completely accept me and I was willing to make him comfortable with me first.
“I am okay, sweetheart” He replied, smiling.
Before I could say another word, Riven moved towards me and hugged me.
I felt like I was dreaming. How can Riven hug me like this? In front of so many people? Isn’t he the one who takes time to accept people? Does Riven loves me?
I heard, when he said he accepted his mate in front of that blondie leader of foxes, but I thought he was just lying to protect me, but right now, in his arms, those words feel more meaningful than ever.
“Gosh, I was afraid that they were going to hurt you” Riven spoke, but his voice was less cold, almost worried.
“I am fine. Are you feeling well?” I don’t know why I asked him ‘are you feeling well’ instead of ‘are you okay?’
But he didn’t seem to mind my question.
“Yeah, I am good”, he kissed my forehead while hugging me.
I felt like dancing. Riven could be super romantic if he wants to!
I was having the time of my life when a black cat had to cross my road.
“Ahem! Ahem! Giselle!” Tyler coughed to grab my attention.
I knew it because I know Tyler well. Whenever he needed my attention in the past, he used to cough or directly drag me away from people. The latter is not feasible for her at the moment. That’s why he used his old technique.
“What’s with your sudden cough? Do you want a glass of warm water?” I asked in an annoyed tone.
I was bothered to even turn towards her and saw his rotten member!
“Um. Nope! A bit of your attention will be it”, Tyler replied in his usual flirty tone.
I don’t know what I was thinking when I found this weird flirting technique of his charming in the past.
I was about to give him my peace of mind when my cold Alpha decided to speak to me.
“What the hell are you doing here in Texas, Alpha Tyler?” Riven asked in an ice-cold tone.
Riven didn’t use his aura, but his words could make a person shiver.
Tyler was an Alpha, hence, he was able to handle his tone.
“Why? Don’t I have permission to stay in Texas?” Tyler asked. I bet he must have raised his eyebrows by now.
He must be looking more ugly than he already is! That bloody cheater!
“It’s not your land, Tyler” I replied on behalf of my mate.
“Well, darling, if you have not forgotten, we are standing in my cousin’s territory right now. This land belongs to Alpha Dylan of Midnight Walker, my dear cousin!” He patted the big brown wolf standing next to him.
Damn! Right! This is Alpha Dylan’s land! Isn’t this where we had.. our first kiss?
