Third Person’s POV:
“Brothers! You came on time!” Stefan couldn’t help but shout, followed by a deep sigh of relief.
“Missed us, little Stef?” Kevin asked with a sly smile.
‘He just can’t miss a chance to show off in front of Giselle.’ Stefan thought with an eye roll.
“We had to come here. We can’t see you being crushed like a meshed potato now, can we?” Riven scoffed in reply.
‘This b*tch! he is still making fun of me in such a situation!’ Stefan glared at his brother.
He didn’t even need to give voice to his thoughts as his brothers could read his face and both of them chuckled in response.
“By the way, did you keep your cell phone on silent mode again?” Kevin asked in an agitated tone.
His playful mood was long gone.
‘Looks like I am in big trouble!’ Stefan thought while swallowing hard.
“Hehe.. that…” He tried to speak but the angry bird of their house cut him off instantly.
“For God’s sake Stefan, keep your cell phone at least in vibration mode. We have been trying to call you to inform you about this bloody attack for a while now!” Riven replied in a frustrated tone.
They felt like they heard something but didn’t bother to pay attention to it as they were busy arguing.
“Alright! Sorry! Giselle tried to call you but she couldn’t because this truck bumped into us!” Stefan replied while glancing at the truck he was still pushing.
On the other hand, Kevin and Riven were also holding the two trucks on the opposite side of their places while having a casual conversation with their brothers.
“Oh Gosh! Is Giselle okay?” Kevin asked in a frightened tone.
“I am fine, Kevin. Thank you very much for noticing me, I have been calling your names for three minutes here” She replied in a sarcastic tone from behind.
She was still standing in front of the same giant tree screaming their names for a while, but none of them paid attention to them.
“Aww, my cute little Luna!” Stefan couldn’t help but find her adorable when she was angry.
“Giselle, are you okay?” Riven asked in a worried tone.
“I am okay” She replied plainly.
All of them already knew that her plain response was solely directed towards Riven. She was still angry that after their fight in the morning, he left with Kevin rather than staying at the lake house and trying to persuade her.
“Stefan, how did you not notice them here by their scent? I was trying to inform you for a while but you didn’t reply!” She said frustratedly from behind.
Stefan remembered how busy he got in his own world while thinking about all the pros and cons of the situation. He thought talking about his thought process in front of these three angry beasts was not a good idea. Hence, he gave them the second valid reason.
“My whole attention was focused on stopping that truck, love. I guess that’s why my other senses were not working that well” he replied, while pushing the truck further behind.
It wasn’t a complete lie. Actually, his attention was on the truck and in his thoughts at the same time. That was the reason he didn’t notice his brother’s presence behind him.
“We get it, Stef! You must be really worried. Let’s get rid of these three miniature vehicles and beat the shit out of their foxy little drivers, then we can go home and talk about everything in detail”, Kevin said with a polite smile.
From the moment his brothers were standing with him on the battle field, Stefan was feeling ultimately powerful.
“Wait, these people are foxes?” Stefan asked in astonishment.
“Oh yeah! It’s that bloody creature again!” Riven replied plainly.
“I am going to beat the hell out of them today!” Stefan announced with the loud growl of an Alpha.
Even Giselle stumbled due to his sudden powerful growl.
‘Wow! That was hot!’ She thought, looking at her handsome men with hearts in her eyes.
She was touched by how Stefan reacted and took care of her today. He didn’t care about himself at all and only gave her life priority.
Every single girl in her lives dreams of a guy who keeps her as his first priority. Stefan has proved today that he deserves to be her mate.
She didn’t know about anything, but she was sure about one thing, that no matter what happened, she was never going to leave his hand till death consumes her.
Three of them pushed the trucks until two vehicles crashed into nearby trees and rocks, and one of them directly fell in the valley.
The two remaining drivers got off the truck and took their position in front of them.
The triplets were about to fight and end them in a fraction of seconds, when ten black-colored SUVs with no number plates stopped in front of them one by one, circling around them completely.
Simultaneously, the doors of every SUV opened, and an army of foxes jumped out of them.
“Uh-Oh!”
