“There is nothing to be glad about.” Nathan grumbled without looking up at the Alpha. Nathan is the only one who counters their discerning attitude and couldn’t care less about what they think.
Adrian continued. “Anyways, we have someone who has in the interest of the pack willingly offered his daughter to us. And we would forever be grateful for his generosity.”
“What sane person would leave his daughter to be married to a monster?” Nathan queried as he stared square faced at Adrian.
“No one asked you to bring your daughter, Nathan. Don’t act like you care that much.” Adrian bit back.
“Well it would have been none of my business if it’s you all paying for your crimes and not the poor girl.” He pointed out, looking at the others for support but none of them met his eyes.
Ava kissed her teeth in annoyance. “Should we have taken your daughter instead?”
“There is no need to do that, we can just invest and make a good turn for our pack. But it’s obvious no one wants to act right.” Nathan hissed.
“Don’t make me have them toss you out Nathan.” Adrian threatened.
