He was close to Emily.
Her face changed in shock as she felt his closeness.
Bastard! It was in the morning. And the children were around. How could he be so bold.
He had…
“Let me go!” She whispered and pulled his arms around her.
“I’ve missed you for two years, and I apologize that I couldn’t help myself.”
Hunter did not want to be so presumptuous in front of the children. He just lost his control.
“Mommy,” Sweety called out from the bathroom.
Emily pushed Hunter with and said, “Let go out of me right now. Sweety is calling me.”
He finally let go of her and followed her into the bathroom.
Emily helped Sweety to clean up and then brushed her teeth. Then, she passed a new toothbrush to Hunter and said, “Clean yourself.”
“Do you not help me?”
“Piss off!”
“…” Hunter was speechless. She became more and more daring.
However, Hunter behaved well today, going to the bathroom with the new toothbrush to freshen himself.
Ten minutes later, Hunter and his children sat at the table silently.
Emily carried four bowls of congee, a fried noodles and homemade fried dough from the kitchen.
She fed Sweety her breakfast and left Hunter and her son to take care of themselves.
Hunter felt nostalgic when he ate his congee. When he tasted Emily’s cooking, he felt satisfied.
It was breakfast with plain congee and fried noodles that he would not usually eat. However, he felt that it was the best breakfast in his life.
Apart from his success, all he wanted to do at the end of the day were to return to his family.
It was also great to having breakfast with his family and chat about the plan, which was a perfect life.
After Emily fed Sweety, she carried the empty bowls and utensils back to the kitchen.
Hunter cleaned up the rest of the table and headed to the kitchen. But he heard Emily said on the phone call, “Yes, I’m really sorry. The nanny has taken the day off, and nobody could take care of the kids…”
He didn’t know what the other person said, he just heard she apologizing all the time, “When I find a new nanny, I will add a few more shifts to catch up with work. In the meantime, I will keep working even though I’m at home. Director, please don’t worry, I will never become a burden.”
She even wanted to hire another nanny.
Hunter was dispirited.
It seemed that she did not want to go back to Bentson with him. And she did not pay any attention to what he had told her the night before.
After Emily hung up, she turned around and saw Hunter standing at the kitchen.
“Oh…” She was so surprised that she did not know how to tell him.
“You go to work. I’ll take care of them.” He went in and put the bowls in the sink.
He wanted to wash the dishes, but he did not know how to do it.
Emily picked up the washing sponge and stood next to him, starting to wash the bowls.
“You don’t know how to wash the bowls and how can I leave the kids with you?”
Hunter stopped with his attempts to help with the cleaning. He changed his method and held her from her behind.
“You…” Emily started to struggle. Yet, he put his face on she neck and smelled she sweet smell, “Come back to me; wouldn’t that be good?”
“No, that wouldn’t be good.” Emily tried to break out of his arms. But he hugged Emily too tightly.
“Hunter, don’t be so presumptuous. We have no any relationship.”
Hunter stayed quiet and continued to hold her. He closed his eyes.
Emily hoped she could kick him out of the house. How was he so dense?!
“Let’s bring the kids out to have some fun later. What do you think?” He had never had a family life.
As for the son, they could leave him in the kindergarten. He had to train the son not to be too reliant on them from a young age.
After all, Chester would only involve little time in his family when he grew up.
Hunter had planned the future for them.
Their son would earn money. And they would spoil their daughter as she would not need to do anything in her life.
As for his wife, he would also spoil her, providing whatever she needed.
Emily was moved.
She had never imagined that she would be able to bring her children out with Hunter.
She wanted to do that and they would really feel like a real family.
However, she felt anxious when she thought they were a family.
She felt she would let Terry down.
“I’m not free today.” She pushed against him, but she was still in his embrace.
“Didn’t you take a day off?” Hunter suddenly let go of her and walked to the living room, looking at Sweety who sat on the chair.
“Daddy and Mommy will take you to have fun today. Is it fine?”
“Yes!” Sweety smiled!
Emily got out of the kitchen and saw Hunter held Sweety, both of whom were staring at her.
“Sweety said she wants to go out to play. Otherwise, she will cry.”
“She wouldn’t cry.” Emily rolled her eyes at him.
Sweety had never been a cry baby; and she had always been a good girl.
But she did not expect that Sweety would cry, “I want to play!”
Emily was shocked. Did he already spoil her daughter? Why would she cry so quickly?
Hunter immediately comforted Sweety, “Don’t cry. We’ll go out and play, Mommy has agreed to it.”
Sweety sniffed and looked at Emily, which was full of hope.
Emily was tempted to strangle the innocent man. He must have taught her daughter to throw a tantrum to get her way!
“You will spoil her!” Emily frowned and stared at him.
“Sweety is such a good girl, and she wouldn’t turn rotten.” Hunter lowered his head and kissed Sweety’s forehead. “So, yes or no?”
“Sweety, be a good girl.” Hunter talked with Sweety, which was even more efficient than her .
She had taken care of Sweety for more than a year, but she could not even handle Sweety’s emotions in such an efficient way. How did Hunter manage that?
They had a rapport together!
There was an old saying, ‘the daughter is the father’s lover in the past life’. Had that been true?
