It was a tense moment, but it didn’t take long before a tender voice broke the depressing atmosphere.
“Daddy, Daddy!” Sweety stretched her arms and smiled, running towards Hunter with her adorable round legs. She was so fast that Chester failed to stop her in time. When he figured out what she was about to do, the girl was already in the strange man’s arms.
“Daddy, Daddy!” Sweety really missed her new daddy. She kissed him on the cheek after he picked her up. Hunter’s heart melted into a puddle of soft mud. He became a slave to his daughter. Upon seeing that, Emily felt deeply troubled and didn’t know what to do.
Hunter was staring at her, and so did Chester, “Mommy, who is he?”
“Someone…unacquainted…”
“Your mommy is my wife.” Hunter put on a serious look on his face. Even though they were both Emily’s children, he was surprised by the boy’s presence.
Chester’s face darkened, and he was angry. “Don’t you dare to talk nonsense!”
“Nonsense?” Hunter frowned. The boy was the same age as Sweety, wasn’t he? Hunter was surprised by his vocabulary and choice of words.
“You seemed to know a lot,” he snorted.
Was that how Terry raised his son? The boy seemed so cold and expressionless, but why did he feel affection for the boy nonetheless?
Hunter’s suffered complicated feelings. He probably would not like the little boy with such a bad attitude, especially if he was Terry’s son. He stared at the boy’s face from every angle—he did not look like Terry at all. Instead, he looked like…
Suddenly, his heart trembled, and he patted Emily on the wrist. “He… He is…”
“He is Terry’s baby!” Emily’s face changed dramatically with fear, who was breathing heavily. Hunter squinted, but some thoughts gradually came to light.
“Woman, has anyone told you that you are not a good liar?”
“What nonsense are you talking about? I didn’t lie. He…he is the same as Sweety, both of them are Terry’s…”
“I will do a paternity test with them. I don’t need you to tell me this.”
Terry’s son? The boy looked exactly like him! They even had a similar vibe!
The child was quite knowledgeable for his age, who acted just like him when he was younger. Who else could the child have taken after?
“You want my children to call another man dad?” He was furious!
“Let go of my mom!” Chester ran towards them, but he did not attack Hunter because he knew he couldn’t beat Hunter up. Instead, he softened his tone. “Let go of mommy. Otherwise, Sweety will be unhappy.”
Hunter relaxed his fingers around Emily’s wrist immediately, but he was still outraged yet anxious. Not only did he have a daughter, but he also had a son.
“Boy, I can let go of your mommy, but you’ll have to call me Daddy now.” He looked down at the little toddler.
Chester would never accept threat. The little boy said with a gloomy face expressionlessly, “As long as my mommy agrees.”
Oh, they had taught his son well!
Hunter fixed on Emily’s face again. “How dare you let my children call Terry ‘Daddy’?”
“They are not yours.”
“Do you want to do the test now?” Money made it accessible to priority services at any time. Emily knew it clearly, but how could she deprive the kids of sleep at such late hours? She stomped angrily, but there was nothing she could do!
“Hunter, let me go!”
Hunter finally let go of her, because he had already seen the answer in her eyes. Sweety was his daughter! He was so moved that he almost shed tears.
He had a daughter! As for the arrogant boy, who didn’t seem to show much respect for his father, he looked just like Hunter. So, he had a daughter and a son; he felt like he was in paradise.
Emily was in a bad mood. What she had been worried for the past two years happened. Terry had left for a business trip, and that bastard interfered in and mess up her life.
“Daddy, Daddy.” Sweety liked her new daddy. She wrapped her arms around his neck, claiming that she did want to let him go.
Sweety was still young, but Chester was quite clever. In front of Chester, Emily did not know what to say.
Hunter took the initiative to clear his doubts. “Your mommy and I were engaged once, and she was pregnant with my child. Not long after, we quarreled because of some misunderstandings.”
“We did not expect Terry would take your mommy away when she was angry with me. After that, your mommy came here and gave birth to you. Terry took the advantage and lied to you that he was your father.”

Hunter looked at Chester, and then carried Sweety in his arms to the sofa.
“Sweety, what’s your full name?” he asked her in a gentle tone—a tone different from when he spoke to Chester. He was absolutely the gentlest father to his daughter.
Sweety blinked innocently at him; she could not answer the question. She was only a baby over one year old, so it was a difficult question for her. She was nothing like the brat who seemed to have a better grasp of knowledge.
“What about you? What’s your name?” He was a stern father when being with Chester.
“Chester.” Even though Chester did not treat him nicely, he was not hostile toward Hunter either, which could border on an amazing feat!
Chester… Hunter was pleased when he thought that his children carried his surname. Then he realized that Terry had the same family name as well. He was upset, but then he decided put this behind his mind for now.
As he looked at Emily, he asked, “Now, what else do you have to say?”
She had carried his babies and hid from him with another man. After the children were born, she even made Hunter’s kids call another man “father”. If she were another woman, he might have destroyed her already!
However, he would never have had children with another woman. He decided to let go of this given that Emily gave birth the kids.
“Come to Bentson with me tomorrow. I want my children to acknowledge their ancestors!”
More importantly, he wanted to give her a big wedding, as well.
“No!” Emily immediately shook her head in refusal. “I don’t want to go back to Bentson, and I won’t be with you! I won’t go anywhere with you!”
