Chapter 451 Extremely Familiar

Book:My Most Precious Wife Published:2024-5-1

“Little one, would you like a balloon?” That person had set the bunch of balloons down.
Their hearts ached when they saw a familiar face appear in front of them.
Emily’s eyes welled after she recovered from the initial shock.
“Joe! Why… Why are you here?”
No one could have imagined the man behind the balloons was Joe.
They had not seen each other for two years, and that little brat had matured into a young man.
“Why can’t I be here? You and Terry had secretly given birth to a daughter, but you still prevented us from seeing you!”
Joe pretended to be angry.
However, as soon as he saw Sweety, he had a bright smile on his face, and his anger was gone.
The little girl looked exactly like Emily. Not only did she look like her mother, but she was also more attractive than Terry.
She was only a year old, and she was already a little beauty. She would be incredibly beautiful when she grew up!
Joe’s word caused Emily to glance at Terry inadvertently. Terry also looked at her at the same time.
Something rippled in their minds, and they laughed. There was a hint of helplessness, but there was no longer any awkwardness.
“Little girl…”
“Her name is Sweety,” Emily said.
“Sweety, would you like a balloon?” Joe waved the balloons in his hand.
“Bobo, bobo…” Sweety stretched her arms, but she could not reach them. She got frustrated and stomped her feet. “Bobo!”
Joe hurriedly crouched and handed a balloon to her. “Come, come. Don’t get angry. Uncle will give you one. Uncle will give all of it to you.”
“When did you arrive?” Emily asked Joe, who was still teasing and playing with Sweety.
“This afternoon,” Joe answered without even looking up at her.
“Alone?”
“Yup, alone.” Joe had spent a tremendous effort to locate them, and he would not risk Emily’s anger by bringing other people with him.
What if she got spooked and decided to run again, what would he do then?
“Don’t worry. I did not tell anyone. Not even Sally or Lois. I swear.”
“I didn’t say that I didn’t believe you.” Emily glanced at Terry.
“Alright, let’s get into the car, and we’ll go pick up Chester,” Terry said.
“Chester?” Joe was a little perplexed. Who was Chester?
They had been there for two years, did they already have many close friends?
Emily smiled but remained silent as she picked up Sweety.
Terry glanced at her, laughed, and said, “Emily is amazing. She had twins.”

Chester Jackson and Sweety Jackson had completely different personalities.
Chester was a small boy, not even a year and a half years old. However, his face darkened when he saw Joe, an outsider, with his family.
One would find it hard to imagine how a toddler could glare at another person so coldly. Joe felt as if he had been stabbed by pins repeatedly.
That look was so familiar; he felt as if he had seen it before. Not to mention that sense of anxiety. It was as if someone had bullied him a similar way, but where had he seen it before?
“I’m not a bad person, I’m…”
“Get out.” Chester seemed to have a more extensive vocabulary than his sister, and they had only been born ten minutes apart.
Did he ask Joe to get out?
What? Was he serious?
“Chester, I’m…”
“Get lost!”
Joe was speechless when he finally recalled why it had seemed familiar. That brat sounded like the other big bully, Hunter! Not only the look in his eyes, but the tone of his speech was similar to the Eldest Young Master Jackson!
How could Emily have given birth to a son so similar to Hunter? It’s too outrageous!
“Chester, this is Mommy’s good friend.”
Emily knew that it would be hard to suppress her son’s temper when it flared.
He was already like that when he was a toddler, what would become of him when he got older?
“Chester, you must be polite to Uncle. He doesn’t mean you any harm.”
However, Chester continued to glare at Joe, who carried Sweety in his arms. It was as if the toddler wanted to rip the man’s arms off.
Joe felt immense pressure.
“Chester, are you upset because I’m carrying your sister?”
Joe was reluctant to let the little girl go. He had only held her for ten minutes.
“Yes!” Chester did not bother with manners to speak his mind.
However, Joe was embarrassed that a little brat had bullied him.
“Emily, I would like to hold her for a little while longer.” He looked at Emily in the front passenger seat.
“This…” Emily frowned and looked to Terry for help.
“She’s not your daughter. Let her go.” Terry’s answer was the same as his son.
Joe wanted to strangle his friend!
“Let go!” Chester might sound like a child, but he was serious about his request. It scared Joe so much that he quickly let go of Sweety.
“Bobo.” The balloon slipped out of Sweety’s hands and rolled onto the ground.
Chester picked it up for her, strode his tiny body into the car, and then sat in between Joe and Sweety. He fastened the seat belt for Sweety and then did his own.
Joe was dumbfounded. That little guy was amazing!
If he were not clumsy when he got into the car, Joe would not have believed that he was only a little more than a year old.
“What are you looking at?” Chester did not treat him politely either.
He would not be polite to those who paid attention to his sister, especially men.
Joe pouted his and shrunk into the corner of the car; he decided not to let his gaze wander.
As the car started to move, Chester opened a little book and began to teach Sweety some words. “This is a bird. This is a fish. This is a tiger…”
Joe felt as if his knowledge had been expanded.
He looked at Emily. “This… I have a question…”
“They are really twins—fraternal twins. They do not look alike.” Emily almost laughed.
Joe’s question was a common one that many others had asked. Everyone wanted to know if they were the same age, or why Chester was more mature than his sister?
Emily had no
All she could say was that she gave birth to a genius son. He started to speak when he was eight months old, memorized classical poems when he was a year old, and then started to use the computer three months after that.
It was as if he had godlike powers.
Terry smiled proudly. “It’s all thanks to my teaching…”
“Come on. Your son doesn’t even listen to you.” Emily rolled her eyes at him.
Joe looked at the two of them. He still had a lot of questions, but he could not ask them in front of the children.
It had only been two years since Emily left, and the twins she had with Terry were already more than a year old. Perhaps they had gotten together immediately after their disappearance.
However, was she not with Hunter at that time?
Why was she suddenly together with Terry?
