“What are you doing here?”
Wendy pushed Emily toward a big tree, and Emily did not fight her. Her body hit the tree trunk behind her with a loud thud.
“Nothing to say? I thought you were quite bold just now? Have you lost courage now that you know that Eldest Young Master Jackson is with me?”
Wendy felt so proud when she realized that Hunter supported her. She had become so arrogant! Emily only looked at her and did not say anything else.
Wendy narrowed her eyes at her sister. “Don’t think that I don’t know what you’re thinking. You are jealous of me, aren’t you?”
“I’m warning you now. If you want your friend to survive, you had better disappear quickly!”
“How could I disappear when Eldest Young Master Jackson was the one who brought me here?” Emily blinked; she did not even look afraid.

“You!” Wendy thought Emily allowed her to drag her and did not refute her because she had been afraid. Why was she so calm? Was she not scared of Hunter’s anger?
“Hunter will not let you go if you go against me. Didn’t you hear him just now?”
“Oh, I didn’t hear him clearly. Why don’t you get Eldest Young Master Jackson to explain it again to me?”

“You… What are you talking about?” Wendy panicked, and her eyes flashed. Emily narrowed her eyes and stepped forward to close the distance between them.
“I said that I would expose your crimes and let everyone see your true colors!”
Wendy was frightened. She subconsciously retreated, but each backward step she took, Emily would take one forward. If she only had speculations, then she would prove her hypothesis soon!
“Wendy, you are a liar! You are not the Gale family’s granddaughter!”
“What are you talking about?” Wendy almost screamed. “Grandfather and I did the DNA test. How dare you say such vicious things!”
They did take the DNA identification test… However, Wendy’s reaction clearly showed that she was guilty.
Emily sneered. “Well, let’s go find Grandfather and repeat that test.”
“Emily, what do you want? What does it have to do with you?”
That b*tch, had she found out about their scheme? Wendy had a murderous look in her eyes. She should not have let Emily survive! She should have known that as long as Emily was alive, the truth would surface sooner or later. Wendy calmed down and squeezed her palms as she stared at Emily coldly.
“Don’t think that just because Grandfather likes you, you can do whatever you want. Grandfather likes you because he thinks that you are my sister!”
When she was finally calmed, she had a murderous look on her face. She wanted to kill Emily. However, Emily stared back at her. They were at the Gu’s mansion, and Wendy had lived there for more than a month. She was familiar with the surroundings. It might not be impossible for her to create an ‘accident’ to send her to her death.
“Oh, now you’re afraid?” Wendy took another step forward with a cold smile.
“Grandfather personally took me to the hospital for the test. Do you know the Gale family? Who do you think Grandfather is?
“If he were not sure, would he bring me home with him? Would he transfer ten percent of Gale Corporation’s shares to me?”
Emily squeezed her fists and stared at her sister, momentarily. Ten percent of shares was a humongous amount. If that were the case, no one would be able to match Wendy’s status in the Gale family. During their confrontation, Emily’s cell phone suddenly rang. She took out her mobile phone and was about to answer the call. Wendy suddenly pounced on her and pressed her hand against the back of Emily’s hand.
“What do you want to do?” Emily glared at her, and she was ready to protect herself.
“What are you scared of? Are you afraid that I would kill you?”
Wendy was pleased. “Oh, why should I kill you for no reason at all?”
“Let me go!” Emily threw her hands away before she picked up the call. “Yes?”
“No.” Joe whispered on the other end of the phone.
“Emily, no, you are not the old master’s granddaughter, the DNA report is out.”
“What did you say?” Her phone almost slipped off her fingers. How could she be wrong about it?
“It’s true, Emily. The two strands of hair that you left at the front desk counter were sent to the hospital as soon as I got them. I paid a lot of money and got the result as soon as I could.”
He had just received the report, and he had not expected the results.
“Emily, I know that you might not want to hear this, but…”
Joe was silent for a moment before he said, “We might have gotten it wrong from the beginning.”
Emily hung up the phone with a blank expression. She looked at Wendy again, and she noticed her sister’s puzzled stare. Emily felt like she wanted to laugh out loud, but she was unsure if she should laugh at all. Should she laugh at her own stupidity?
When she knew that she would visit the Gale family in City L, she immediately sent a message to Joe and asked him to take the same flight to follow their trail. She wanted him to help her with her DNA test with Old Master Gale when they had a chance. She wondered about the issue for more than a month, and she could not do anything about it while trapped in WongRiver Pavilion.
