EPISODE SEVENTEEN
TITLE: THE ONLY WRONG SHE DID WAS SERVING HIM.
Onida didn’t step out of the room for the rest of the day.
She kept on sulking and crying in the bed.
Why is Azazel so mean and brutal to her?
The only wrong she did was serving him. How could he treat her like a piece of shit that is meant to be trampled on?
Shortly, before the sunset, She heard cart wheels and horses neighing as they were wheeled out of the Castle.
She sat up on the bed and peeped through the window, Azazel’s cart was in between the horses while Adriel’s horse was beside him.
A tear slipped down her eyes as she watched them leave.
She doesn’t know when the Master will be back, and Margaret will surely make life hell for her.
Eleanor entered the room without knocking on the door and Onida sat up immediately.
“Greetings”She mumbled under her breath and Eleanor stared at her for a while before going to the inner part of the room.
Shortly, she came out with some piles of clothes and was about to leave but Onida stopped her.
She rushed up to her and held her hands immediately.
“Is Margaret still in the dungeon?”She asked and Eleanor sighed.
“I don’t know”She replied simply and Onida drooped.
She let go of her hand and nodded before going back to the bed.
“The head of guards said she will soon be out, And you’re to serve as from now on, Make sure you don’t defy her orders because there will be no one to save you”
“I know, Thank you”She replied simply and watched Eleanor leave the room.
•
Azazel put on his robe back after he read the scrolls.
They were normal messages of corporations from the greedy humans and the organizations he ran.
He put on his bracelets and other costumes on himself before sending one of the guards in.
“Inform the head of the guards to bring Margaret to me”He ordered without sparing him a glance.
The latter nodded out of impulse and rushed out of the room to carry out his orders.
After a while, he arrived with Margaret.
The whole room was filled with the stench that came from her body, Conan, The head of the guards held his breath as he made her sit on the floor.
She looks so horrible and pitiful but Azazel felt nothing but anger towards her.
Her face was smeared with dirt and dung of animals, His jaw twitched as he walked closer to her.
“How was the trip to your comfort house?”He asked mockingly and she broke down in tears.
“It was terrible”She sobbed holding her bruised legs and Azazel scoffed.
“I will be out of the castle for a mission, I’m letting you out of the dungeon because the guards and other workers in the castle will never tend to you without my permission, When I’m back, I will decide what to do with you”
“Thank you”She cried out in pain and relief at the same time.
The past few days has been hell and torture for her.
She kept on having nightmares of her father.
The dirty memories of the past she pushed away came back to her.
Every night, she could feel her father’s rough hands on her laps. Her screams echoing in the hollow dungeon.
No one will be able to hear her, Azazel knew what he was doing when he threw her into the place.
For her to be able to learn her lessons but despite the amount of the torture and pains.
Her hate for Onida grew everyday, If she had the opportunity to rip her heart away from her body.
She will surely do that over and over again.
No one could understand how much she hates her.
“The slaves and Workers will be in charge of you, And the Old Rita will give you commands on how to treat them and listen to their complaints, Don’t treat them like they are your slaves, You’re in the same level with them, I’m just giving you the grace of two weeks to reminisce on your behaviors”
“Well understood, Master”She sobbed softly.
“Onida will be in your care too, Don’t you ever lay your hands on her, She will carry on with her daily activities, All you need to do is to make sure the guards doesn’t molest her”
“What?”She blurted in surprise and pressed her lips together the moment she knew the gravity of what she had done.
No one dared question Azazel.
“If anyone touch a strand of her hair, I will make sure I rip you into pieces before throwing you back to where you belong”
He threatened to grab her soiled hair.
Margaret nodded immediately, he yanked her hair so hard, making sure he pulled out a reasonable amount of strands before letting her go.
“Take her away”He ordered Conan and the latter dragged her out of the room like a dead animal.
•
She collapsed on the floor for the third time within the few seconds she was dragged in the room.
Rhoda cried out in pain and inaudibly begged for mercy.
“You ruined everything, We planned this for years, We put our trust in you but you failed us again you worthless animal!”He roared in anger and pressed his hard shoes to her face.
Rhoda whimpered and continued apologizing.
The rest of the council didn’t interfere with it, They dare not to.
Who dares talk when the head of the council is losing it just like now?
“Let her go”An old woman who just entered the room seconds ago.
She stretched her wand to their direction and cast some spells, Her feeble lips shook at intervals and suddenly, Rhoda was dragged to her feet.
“This won’t help, Torturing her will only delay us, We just need to strategize other plans”She mumbled before walking to her seat.
The head of the council walked up to her and took in a deep breath trying to control his anger.
He was very pissed off, and no one could have stopped him from killing her if not for his mother.
“Mother..”He called for no particular reason and she nodded.
“I know how angry you are. It’s expected, She ruined everything for us, But we can’t just give up at this stage”She pacified him and the rest of the council agreed with her.
The woman turned to Rhoda who was trying to raise her head from the floor and glared at her.
“Where’s the jade I gave to you?, I can’t feel it”she demanded and Rhoda burst into another round of tears.
“I lost it on the way,”she confessed.
“What?”The council chorused at once and they stared at themselves in turn.
“This is a bad omen”
“Another war is brewing”
“How could she be so careless”
They all whispered in low tones among themselves and the woman yelled immediately.
She stopped them from bickering and once again, the whole room was quiet.
“Call one of the guards here”She ordered no one in particular and the youngest among them went to call the guard.
Shortly, he came back with a young man and the latter paid homage to the council members.
“Take her to the cell, I don’t want to see her for now”
