Andrianne’s heart was racing as she approached Lucas’s room with his medication. It had been two weeks since she decided to stay with him until he regained his memory, and every day had been a struggle. Seeing him every day, yet him not remembering anything about their past together, had been heartbreaking for Andrianne.
As she entered his room, she saw Lucas sitting on the bed, looking out of the window. He turned his head as she entered and gave her a small smile.
“Good morning, Andrianne,” he said softly.
“Good morning, Lucas,” she replied, trying to keep her voice steady.
Andrianne walked over to his bedside and placed the medication on the table next to his bed.
“How are you feeling this morning?” she asked, hoping to make small talk.
“I’m feeling okay, thanks for asking,” he replied.
There was a moment of silence between them before Lucas spoke up again.
“Andrianne, can I ask you something?” he said hesitantly.
“Of course,” she replied, turning to face him.
“Have we ever kissed before?” he asked, looking into her eyes.
Andrianne’s heart skipped a beat. Was he starting to remember?
“We have,” she said softly.
Lucas looked at her for a moment before slowly getting up from the bed. Andrianne watched as he walked over to her, his eyes locked on hers.
“I don’t remember anything about us, Andrianne, but there’s something about you that makes me feel like I’ve known you my whole life,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Andrianne’s heart was racing as Lucas reached out and took her hand in his. She could feel the warmth of his touch and the electricity that sparked between them. And then, before she could react, Lucas pulled her towards him and kissed her passionately.
It was as if a fire had been ignited between them. Andrianne felt a rush of emotions flood her as they kissed. She had missed him so much, missed the feel of his lips on hers, and the way his touch made her feel alive.
As they broke the kiss, Lucas pulled back and looked at Andrianne with a mix of confusion and wonder in his eyes.
“I don’t know why I did that,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Andrianne smiled at him, trying to keep her emotions in check.
“It’s okay, Lucas,” she said softly. “It’s just a kiss.”
But Andrianne knew that it was much more than just a kiss. It was a sign that Lucas was starting to remember, that their past was slowly coming back to him.
As they sat there in silence, Andrianne felt a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, Lucas would remember everything soon and they could finally be together again.
The cool evening breeze gently blew through the windows of Lucas’ mansion, creating a peaceful atmosphere as Andrianne entered Lucas’ room to check on him. She had been taking care of him for weeks now, watching over him as he slowly regained his memory. She was about to leave the room after placing his medication on the table when suddenly, Lucas screamed and fell to the ground.
Andrianne quickly rushed over to him, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to figure out what was happening. She held onto him tightly, trying to calm him down as he shook uncontrollably.
Suddenly, Lucas’ eyes opened wide, and he looked up at Andrianne with a look of recognition. “Andrianne,” he whispered, “I remember you.”
Andrianne’s heart leaped with joy as she looked into his eyes, seeing the familiar spark that had been missing for so long. She took his hand and held it tightly, tears of relief streaming down her face.
Lucas tried to sit up, but Andrianne gently pushed him back down, telling him to take it easy. “I’m sorry,” he said, his voice still weak. “I don’t know what happened.”
Andrianne brushed a strand of hair from his forehead, smiling down at him with tears in her eyes. “It’s okay,” she whispered. “You’re okay now.”
Lucas looked up at her with a mixture of confusion and wonder. “I’m so sorry for everything,” he said, his voice cracking with emotion. “For not remembering you, for hurting you.”
Andrianne hushed him, placing a finger on his lips. “It’s okay,” she said softly. “You don’t have to apologize.”
Lucas took her hand and held it tightly, his eyes searching hers. “But I want to,” he said, his voice filled with emotion. “I want to make things right. I love you, Andrianne. I’ve always loved you, even when I didn’t remember you.”
Andrianne felt her heart swell with emotion, hearing Lucas say those words after all they had been through. She leaned down and kissed him gently on the lips, feeling a wave of love and happiness wash over her.
As they parted, Andrianne smiled down at Lucas, feeling a sense of relief and happiness she hadn’t felt in months. “I love you too,” she whispered, her voice filled with emotion. “More than anything.”
Lucas smiled up at her, his eyes shining with love and happiness. For a moment, they simply sat there, holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes, feeling the weight of everything they had gone through slowly lifting from their shoulders.
Finally, Lucas spoke up. “What happened to Emily?” he asked, his voice laced with concern.
Andrianne’s smile faded, remembering the pain and heartache that Emily had caused. “I don’t know,” she said softly. “She’s gone. I haven’t seen or heard from her since I moved in here with you.”
Lucas looked up at her, his eyes filled with sadness. “I’m sorry,” he said softly. “I know she caused you a lot of pain.”
Andrianne shook her head, reaching out to touch his face gently. “It’s okay,” she said softly. “We’re together now, and that’s all that matters.”
Lucas smiled up at her, his eyes filled with love and happiness. “Together,” he repeated softly, as if savoring the word. “Forever.”
