CH 63.
Lucas couldn’t help but feel an intense desire for his wife as he watched her sleep. Her peaceful expression and soft breathing made him want to hold her close and never let go. He had never felt this way before, not even when he was with other women.
He recalled the night before, how they had somehow ended up sleeping together in his room. He didn’t regret it, but he also knew that they needed to talk about it. They had been married for months but they had never been intimate with each other until last night.
Lucas had always been reserved when it came to physical intimacy. He had been hurt before and was afraid of opening himself up to that kind of vulnerability again. But with Andrianne, he felt like he could let his guard down.
As he continued to gaze at her, he couldn’t help but wonder if she felt the same way he did. Did she want him as much as he wanted her? Or was he just projecting his own desires onto her?
He brushed a strand of hair away from her face, and she stirred slightly in her sleep. He watched as she slowly opened her eyes and blinked a few times before focusing on him. Her lips curled into a small smile as she saw him looking at her.
“Good morning,” she said softly, her voice still husky from sleep.
“Good morning,” he replied, returning her smile. “Did you sleep well?”
She nodded and sat up, pulling the sheet up to cover her chest. He couldn’t help but notice how the fabric clung to her curves, and he quickly averted his gaze.
“Lucas, about last night…” she began, looking down at her hands in her lap.
“I know,” he interrupted, reaching out to take her hand. “We need to talk about it.”
She looked up at him, her eyes searching his face for any signs of regret or discomfort. He gave her a reassuring smile, squeezing her hand gently.
“I don’t regret it, Andrianne,” he said earnestly. “I just want to make sure we’re both on the same page.”
She nodded, her expression softening. “I feel the same way, Lucas,” she replied. “I’ve been wanting to be closer to you for a while now.”
He felt a surge of relief and happiness wash over him at her words. They sat in silence for a few moments, just enjoying each other’s company and basking in the warmth of their newfound intimacy.
“I love you, Andrianne,” he finally said, unable to contain his feelings any longer.
“I love you too, Lucas,” she replied, leaning in to kiss him softly.
As they pulled away from each other, they both knew that their relationship had taken a new turn. They were no longer just husband and wife, but lovers as well. And Lucas knew that he had never been happier.
Lucas stepped out of the bathroom feeling refreshed after his shower. As he walked towards his wardrobe, he couldn’t help but smile at the thought of his wife, Andrianne, who was still sleeping soundly in his bed. He quickly dressed up in a casual outfit and made his way downstairs to the kitchen.
As he entered the kitchen, he was greeted by the tantalizing aroma of coffee and bacon. Andrianne was standing by the stove, wearing one of his t-shirts and a pair of shorts, her long hair tied up in a messy bun. Lucas couldn’t help but appreciate how beautiful she looked even in her casual attire.
“It’s a good thing you’re dressed for work, come over here,” she said as she turned around, a smile forming on her lips as she saw him. “Come have your sit,”
Lucas walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him. “Thank you.”he replied, holding back himself from blushing as he looked into her beautiful brown eyes.
“I made breakfast, I hope you enjoy it, it” she replied, resting her head on his chest.
Lucas planted a soft kiss on the top of her head, inhaling her sweet scent. “What are you making?” he asked, as he released her from his embrace and took a seat at the kitchen table.
“Breakfast,” she replied, flashing him a smile. “I thought I’d make us some bacon and eggs with toast. And of course, coffee.”
Lucas smiled and watched as she bustled around the kitchen, putting the finishing touches on their breakfast. He couldn’t help but feel grateful for having her in his life. They had been through so much together, and yet here they were, enjoying a peaceful morning together.
As Andrianne served up their breakfast, Lucas couldn’t help but admire her culinary skills. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the eggs were fluffy and the toast was perfectly toasted. He couldn’t wait to dig in.
As they sat down to eat, they engaged in light conversation, talking about their plans for the day and reminiscing about their time together. Lucas couldn’t help but feel content as he ate his breakfast, knowing that he had found his soulmate in Andrianne.
After they had finished eating, Andrianne cleared up the table and Lucas helped her with the dishes. As they worked together, Lucas couldn’t help but steal glances at his wife, feeling a sense of longing for her.
But he knew that their relationship was more than just physical desire. They had a deep emotional connection that had only grown stronger with time. And Lucas knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Andrianne, by his side.
As they finished up in the kitchen, Lucas took Andrianne’s hand and led her to the living room. They sat down on the couch, with Lucas pulling her close to him, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
“I love you,” he said, looking into her eyes.
“I love you too,” she replied, her eyes shining with affection.
Lucas leaned in and kissed her softly, savoring the taste of her lips. He knew that their love was real and that he would do anything to protect it.
