Lareina bit her lips. Finally, she had known what real shamelessness was. Now, the person she hated most was definitely Robin Zhou. If Robin didn’t beat Dalton, nothing would have happened.
“Give me that coward’s car as interest. How can such a coward drive such an excellent car?” Fay said. She had noticed that Robin left without the car key just now.
Teeth gritted, Lareina handed Fay the key.
“Besides, when June comes back, ask her to send me 500, 000 yuan. Don’t play tricks!” Fay shouted. Since she had grabbed Lareina’s handle, she would get benefits.
Lareina’s eyes were flaming, but she had to agree. “OK, I’ll make it.”
“So be it.” Fay nodded with satisfaction. Dalton needed a car and a house when he married. Now, the car and house were both hopeful. That coward, Robin Zhou, was indeed her helper, Fay thought.
Robin felt depressed even when he rushed out.
People would have feelings to even a dog if he stayed with the dog for three years.
Not to mention an alive man!
Robin had treated John Brown and Lareina as his own parents in the past three years, but Lareina treat him worse than a dog!
“Robin.” At this moment, June ran to him.
Before Robin asked, June tightly hugged him.
“I’m sorry, Robin. I’m sorry.”
June’s eyes were red. She couldn’t imagine how much furious Robin had been when Lareina asked him to kneel and apologize.
“Never say sorry to me.” Robin tenderly touched June’s hair. June hadn’t done something wrong, and Robin would never put Lareina’s mistakes on June.
“But, my mother, she…” June sobbed.
“Forget it. Mom was angry before.” Robin comforted June. Though he knew clearly that Lareina’s words today were her real intentions, he didn’t want to pressure June. He had promised June to be the happiest woman in the world, so he had to make it!
“Robin, where shall we live tonight?” June asked.
“We?” Robin was stunned. “June, mom just kicked me out, not you…”
“No!” June interrupted him. “If mom doesn’t apologize to you this time, I’ll never go back.”
Robin felt warm. He knew June had made up her mind to fight against Lareina.
“How about living in Spring Hill?” Robin asked. He never slept in the villa he bought in Spring Hill. It was a good opportunity to give June a surprise.
“Spring Hill?” June frowned. “There is no hotel.”
“We don’t live in a hotel,” Robin said.
“So where should we live? Sleep on the road?” June was confused.
Robin touched June’s delicate nose. “We live in a villa.”
“Villa?” June pinched Robin angrily. “Don’t talk so big. Only nine villas are in Spring Hill, and all of them are sold already.”
“It’s true, dear. I have a villa in Spring Hill, containing about 500 square meters.” Robin smiled bitterly. He should expect that June wouldn’t believe him.
June stared at Robin. “Why don’t you say you have the whole Spring Hill?”
Robin opened his mouth but couldn’t say anything. To be honest, he indeed had the whole Spring Hill now.
“Well, don’t play jokes anymore. Let’s go to Laura’s house. Her house is big enough to keep us for several days.” June suggested.
“All right.” Robin had to agree.
Then they took a taxi to Laura Xu’s house.
Laura lived in a villa at the center of the city, where the house price was also high enough though it was cheaper than Spring Hill.
June told the matter to Laura, so Laura didn’t feel surprised when they arrived.
As they came into the house, June went to the bathroom. Laura took out a pair of slippers and then threw it by Robin’s feet.
“Your wife should sleep with me these days, so you sleep on the first floor,” Laura said.
Only a woman hooligan like Laura Xu could say such words.
“Besides, without my permission, you mustn’t go upstairs,” Laura warned Robin. She was afraid that Robin would take her advantages when Robin went upstairs to see June.
“Don’t worry. I won’t go upstairs.” Robin said. Though Laura was beautiful, he had no interest in her.
“Humph, you’d better keep your promise.” Laura humphed. Robin’s behaviors today made her surprised. It was impossible for Robin to fight against Lareina before.
Then Laura went upstairs.
Robin took out the mobile phone and prepared to ask Ben Zhou about the development of Spring Hill project.
“Knock! Knock! Knock!”
At this moment, a hurried sound of knocking door came over.
Robin opened the door. It was a big bunch of roses.
“Laura, marry me! I’ll make you happy!”
Robin didn’t know what happened but heard an exciting voice.
Robin’s expression looked complicated. It was a handsome young man in a white suit, who was getting down on one knee and raising the roses.
Perhaps the roses blocked his eyes, so the young man didn’t find that the person standing in front of him was not Laura, but a man in slippers.
“Laura, my love to you can be proved with anything…” The young man was impassioned, speaking the lover’s prattle in the same tone as in reciting a poem.
