Chapter 16

It turned out to be June Maine, who wore black tulle pajamas, making her much more attractive and sexy. Her boobs looked perkier as if they were going to come out.
Perhaps it was because of the shower, June blushed as red as a rose. She was so gorgeous. Robin could not get his eyes off her.
“What’s going on?” Robin asked curiously. Usually, June wouldn’t come to him at night.
“Um… the lights in my bedroom were broken.” June tried to say naturally, but somehow, she felt it so hard.
“Ah, I’ll check it. Perhaps I can help.” Robin said, disappointed. This was not what he expected.
“Well, Ok,” she said in a pretty low voice. June’s face turned a bright red. She was so nervous that she was keeping playing with her fingers, over and over again.
When she realized Robin was about to go to her room instantly, June got bashful but somewhat annoyed.
“Wait. Do you mind me sleeping in the same bed with you tonight?” June said shyly. But later, she flushed more the moment she realized that she seemingly took the initiative on this stuff.
Robin was shocked but shook his head, saying, “Or, I fix your lamp and go back to your room. I am no stranger to mending lights. I used to do that job when I was in school. ”
“No. Never mind. I can do that by myself.” June said coldly and then went out, slamming the door.
“Hey…” Robin was confused. It was she who came to him to fix the lights. So weird.
This night, Robin slept deeply.
However, June stayed up all night. Then early the next morning, she came out of the bedroom with dark circles around her eyes. She ignored Robin.
Robin felt embarrassed. “What happened to her?” Robin thought.
After he made breakfast, Robin went to the hospital to visit John Brown. After all, John should have experienced a car accident without Robin. He felt guilty.
After the operation, John woke up from a coma. He was still semiconscious, so Robin did not talk too much with him.
Having left the hospital, Robin opened the note someone gave him just now.
“Little lord, two groups of people are targeting you recently.”
“Gary Shen’s group is investigating your background.”
“The other is Eric Zhou’s. The Ghost is monitoring you. They are so alarmed that I couldn’t nose into too much.”
“Be careful!”
After reading it, Robin tore the paper secretly.
He had expected that Gary would look into him. Since the day he met Gary, he knew the man was much more careful and cautious than he appeared. Even so, Zhou’s Family would not let him get any useful information.
What bothered him was The Ghost from Eric. He had heard a lot about The Group, which was a dominant force controlled by Eric. He got a little worried.
Although he had been Brown’s Family for three years, Eric didn’t let his guard down. He was too hard to deal with.
He had some forces, but he knew that compared with Eric’s, that was nothing.
The only way for him was to proceed with caution.

After he returned home, Robin drove June to the company as always. He asked Ben to put the Koenigsegg in the villa located in Spring Hill and bought a new electric car.
“Why, are you still angry?” Robin asked with a smile.
June rolled her eyes and said coldly, “Nope. Why do you ask that? Should I be angry?”
“Well. Never mind.” Robin smiled bitterly. He could not figure out why June treated him this way. Perhaps it’s just her period.
Then they approached the company. Robin heard a voice of amusement when he was about to leave.
“Hello, Robin, where is your stupid car? Can’t you afford the rent?” Aimee Brown walked toward Robin, twisting at her waist.
Robin rolled his eyes–he had no word with this stupid woman.
“Huh, what about your face?” June said, smirking.
Heard this, Aimee’s face turned pale. No doubt, June’s words got her, making her think of being slapped by them yesterday.
But Aimee adjusted herself quickly and said, “June, here’s good news for you. You’d be expelled from the Project of the Spring Hill.”
June was shocked, frowning. What did Aimee mean by that? She had made a deal with the Group of Pinnacle.
Robin squinted his eyes slightly. He had predicted this before.
Marcus Brown, it’s so you!
“Huh, idiot!” Aimee snorted coldly.
“What do you mean? Where’s grandpa?” June realized something. She needed to have a word with Marcus.
“Grandpa went to Jinzhou to celebrate his friend’s birthday,” Marcy appeared.
“Besides, before he left, grandpa made me run the project. So, June, you’re out.” Marcy said proudly. As Carl Brown expected, Marcus gave him the project after Marcy apologized to him sincerely.
“What? That’s mine. He has no right to do that.”
June flew into a rage. She made efforts to deal with the Group of Pinnacle. Suddenly, someone told her she was out. What’s worse, her rival took over her project.
Brown Hao smiled disdainfully and said, “You should know that I am born to be the heir of Brown’s Family. You’re out all the time!”
June was too angry to get any words out. Why? No matter how hard-working she was, Marcus never praised her. The only one he cared for was the grandson—Marcy.
