“Eldest Young Master Williams ditched you for her?” The leader’s fingers gripped Elena’s lower jaw. Elena felt a sharp pain, but she was helpless as he lifted her face.
The leader turned to look at Ava, and then back at Elena. The two women—one pure and plain, the other flirtatious and fake—any man would favor one over the other.
More importantly, the plain-looking one was much prettier than the elder sister. No one would believe that Eldest Young Master Williams had chosen to dump her for that terrified woman at the corner of the room.
“When did Eldest Young Master Williams break off his engagement with you?” The leader stared into Elena’s eyes as a smile formed on his face.
Things had become more apparent to him. Elena remained silent and stared at him with indifference.
One of the men said, “If I recalled correctly, it was the morning after we returned the other one.”
“Ah!” A smile broke on the leader’s face. He understood why Michael had done that.
Others might have believed it was for their family’s reputation. One did not have to get engaged or break up solely for personal reasons.
Therefore, when Michael terminated the engagement, no one would have guessed it was for something so trivial. It was something very insignificant to the outsiders. However, Michael had done it for significant reasons.
“He broke off the engagement because he wanted to protect you?” How interesting!
Only Eldest Young Master Williams would have the courage to do such a thing!
“What are you talking about?” Ava could not accept what she had just heard.
She exclaimed angrily, “He terminated the engagement because he did not want this hideous woman!”
“Hideous?” The leader laughed; he did not even glance at her.
“If she’s hideous, then I’m afraid there are no beautiful women in all of Bentson.”
Ava wanted to argue with the man, but one of the henchmen slapped her across her face. Ava screamed loudly and burst into tears, “I am Eldest Young Master Williams’s woman! He had cast her aside!”
“You would dare to treat me this way? When Eldest Young Master Williams arrives, he will—Argh!”
The man slapped her again.
Ava was knocked onto the ground. She no longer had the strength to get up and could only continue to weep desolately on the ground.
Elena continued to stare at the man in front of her. The man’s mask had completely concealed his face. His voice was also deliberately lowered so that you could not hear its original tone.

The leader curled his lips. His eyes were filled with an uneasy luster. “I shall let you see him. You’ll get to see him very soon.”
“What do you want?” Elena’s eyebrows tightened. She struggled but was unable to budge.
“Take a guess!”
The man seemed to be in a good mood. With a wave of his hand, the two henchmen immediately escorted Elena out of the cabin.
“What the hell do you want? Let me go!”
Elena became more and more uneasy. However, she was not worried about her safety. She did not know anything about their primary objective, but she did know they had targeted Michael.

“Eldest Young Master, it seemed like they had stopped at the island up ahead.”

He had expected trouble from Paradise Island ever since he took Elena from them last time. However, he did not expect that they would still go after Elena even after he canceled their engagement.
“It’s good that Eldest Young Master Williams does not like to beat around the bush. Very forthright!” The leader waved his hand. He strode up to them with a glass of wine in his hands.
“Eldest Young Master Williams, the wine in this glass has been laced with some potent drug. Would you dare to drink it?”
Another henchman stepped forward and shoved a mobile phone at Michael’s face. On the screen, he saw two men had pinned Elena to the ground. They had not done anything to her, but it looked like they wanted to rip off her clothes.
Elena struggled frantically, but she could not break free…
Michael shut his eyes before he stepped forward abruptly and grabbed the glass from the man’s hands.
Both Levi and Ewan exclaimed, “Eldest Young Master Williams!”
