If there was a man in the world who could command a woman’s attention like, it would be Eldest Young Master Williams. Elena tried to look away, but she could not resist the urge to check him out.
He wore a white casual outfit that day. His tall and slender figure was exceptionally dazzling under the sunlight. A pair of sunglasses sat on the bridge of his nose. It was nothing fashionable, but it had looked rather sophisticated when it was on him.
The many men and women around him could only resign to secondary characters’ fate when he was around. He looked nobler than the highest king in the world. The whirlwind of his majestic aura engulfed the people around him.
“Eldest Young Master Williams?” Lois and Layla stared at him with their mouths wide open.
Layla loathed the man. He was the one who had abandoned Elena. However, no matter how much she hated him, she could not take her eyes off him. She watched him once, twice, and then again and again. Damn it! The man was too good looking.
Dylan furrowed his eyebrows tightly. He had no idea that his eldest brother had also planned a trip out to the sea that day.
“It’s Eldest Young Master,” Dylan’s assistant reminded him.
Dylan’s eyes dimmed, and he glanced at Elena. “Do you mind? If you do, then let’s go somewhere else.”
It looked like Second Young Master Williams had changed, indeed. He was different from who he was before; he had learned to give in.
Elena shook her head. “We would look petty if we were to leave now. It is also inappropriate as you are Second Young Master Williams.”
Elena also noticed that Michael was not the only person from the Williams family who was there that day.
Snowy and her friends, as well as Tabby and her friends, were all at the beach. It was apparent that the Williams family had organized the outing, and it would be inappropriate for Dylan, as the second young master in the family, to walk away.
“You would care about my dignity?” Finally, Dylan recovered a little confidence, and his eyes shone brightly when he looked at her.
Elena did not want to reply to that question. She had explained her motivations for their interactions. If he still insisted on the wrong idea, there was nothing much she could do about it. Dylan knew that his hopes were too high, but Elena’s words did make him feel a lot better.
“Since you don’t mind, then let’s go,” he said.
Elena nodded and walked by his side. Second Young Master Williams had arrived with Eldest Young Master Williams’s ex-fiancée! Everyone was stunned when they saw them. If Snowy had not called out her name, most of them would not even know that she was Elena. That gorgeous woman had turned out to be Elena, Eldest Young Master Williams’s ex-fiancée?
“Elena, what are you doing here?” Snowy was angry when she saw her.
Even though their grandfather had ruled their grandmother’s death as an accident, no one knew the truth about it. After all, Elena was the only person around her when the accident happened. She was only suspect! Whenever Snowy saw Elena, she saw a murderer. How she wished that she could tear Elena into pieces and bury her with her grandmother!
“I invited her.” Dylan did not want to cause a scene or to embarrass Elena.
He looked at Snowy and announced, “She is my friend. If you have any opinion about it, you can deal with me.”
“Second Brother!” Snowy was so angry when he said that!
He wanted her to go to him if she had any opinion about it? He was her second elder brother! What could she do with him?
Furthermore, there were many outsiders at the scene. Siblings should not fight in public, right?
“Snowy, since she is Second Young Master’s friend, then she is also our guest. Just let them board the cruise.”
Ava had stood next to Michael as if she was his woman.
Snowy was unwilling to submit to her; her face immediately turned ashen. “It is not your call to decide if she is a guest or not. What does it have to do with you, an outsider?”
Elena had been Michael’s fiancée, and so she was part of the family. Who was Ava? Her brother had never acknowledged Ava’s status with him either. Ava had taken over Elena’s place when Michael had dumped her, and Snowy had no respect for a woman like that. She might have hated Elena, but she hated Ava even more!
Ava did not expect Snowy to embarrass her right in front of Eldest Young Master Williams! Such insolence! Eldest Young Master Williams was always disgusted with futile arguments among women, so he would never stand up for her. Ava had nowhere to vent her anger.
People around them snickered when they heard what Snowy had said. Ava posted on social media daily to publicly display the affection between Eldest Young Master Williams and herself. Still, Snowy pointed out that she was not part of the Williams family, and she was only an outsider. Everyone was only too happy to hear about that, and some even gloated in delight! They were sick of her daily show off!
Eldest Young Master Williams had never responded to any of her posts on Weibo. Even though they were jealous and envious that she could live at the WongRiver Pavilion, who knew if there was something fishy about it? Eldest Young Master Williams belonged to everyone, and no one was willing to admit that he was the man of that evil woman!
Ava was aggrieved, but she could only hide pitifully behind Michael. It seemed like everyone had made fun of him when she hid behind him. Who would dare to be so willful and arrogant around him? Even Snowy could only be angry in silence. Did she want trouble with her eldest brother? She had no courage to do that. Hence, she could only channel all her anger toward Elena.
“Second Brother, don’t you remember what this woman did to our family? Why did you bring her to our party?”
“She didn’t do anything wrong.”
Dylan wanted to hold Elena’s hand to protect her. However, she did not seem to need his protection; she could stand up tall by herself. Dylan felt discouraged, but he was the one who brought her there, so he had to protect her.
“Snowy, I hope that you won’t repeat those groundless claims. Stop with this nonsense. Otherwise, I will tell Grandfather.”
“Second Brother! You!” Snowy stomped her feet angrily.
Grandfather had made it clear that it was an accident, and he had forbidden anyone from bringing up the matter. He would not forgive them easily if anyone were to stir up the issue again! If Old Master Williams had heard Snowy, he would definitely be furious with her.
Snowy bit her lip and crimsoned with anger. “I won’t allow this woman at our party!”
“I don’t plan to bring Elena to the party.”
Dylan felt uncomfortable that Elena was attacked. Even though he was the second young master, and his family was the host of the event, he would not have allowed it if Elena was bullied. Furthermore, he had wanted to spend a relaxing and enjoyable day with Elena.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know…” Dylan looked at Elena awkwardly. He regretted that their outing had turned out like that.
“Shall we go on another cruise ship?”
