Leo had been on a business trip for a week, but as soon as he heard that his wife, Rachel, was sick, he immediately wrapped up his trip and headed back home. The flight was a long one, but Leo’s mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Rachel. He considered getting her a gift, but he knew that she wasn’t a materialistic woman.
When he finally arrived at their home, her mother welcomed him inside. She made herself scarce, leaving Leo alone to be with his wife. He walked into the bedroom and placed the bouquet of flowers he had brought for Rachel on the bedside table. He then sat down on the edge of the bed and gazed at his sleeping wife.
Leo couldn’t help but smile as he looked at her. He had missed her so much. He gently brushed back a strand of her hair from her face and leaned in to kiss her. Suddenly, Rachel stirred in his arms and woke up.
She smiled at him and Leo leaned in to kiss her again, but this time she abruptly pulled back. “You shouldn’t be here,” she said, her voice full of irritation.
Leo was taken aback by her words. “I just wanted to check on you,” he said, trying to hide the hurt in his voice.
“You didn’t have to,” Rachel replied, her voice still full of annoyance. “I’m much better now.”
Leo tried to explain that he was worried about her, but Rachel was insistent that he leave. He could see the anger and frustration in her eyes, and he knew that he had no choice but to leave. He gathered up the bouquet of flowers and left the room, feeling hurt and angry.
As he walked out of the house, Leo couldn’t help but wonder why everything had gone so wrong between him and Rachel. He had thought that things were going well between them, but now it seemed like they were more distant than ever.
He didn’t know what to do, but he knew that he couldn’t just leave things like this. He would have to find a way to fix things with Rachel and try to win back her heart.

Celine sat in her kitchen, sipping her coffee and staring out the window, watching the leaves rustle in the wind. She had finally agreed to move in with William, and their life together was starting to settle into a beautiful routine. But as much as she was in love with her own life, her mind kept wandering back to her friend Rachel.
She had been so distant lately, and Celine knew that something was going on with her and Leo. She was worried about her friend, and the thought of her being so unhappy was too much for her to bear. She set down her coffee and sighed, knowing she needed to talk to William about this.
“Hey, can I talk to you about something?” Celine asked, as she joined William at the dinner table.
“Of course, love. What’s on your mind?” William replied, giving her a concerned look.
“It’s about Rachel and Leo. I think something is going on between them, and I’m worried about her,” Celine explained, as she pushed her food around her plate.
“I think you’re right. They’ve been distant lately, and I think it’s time we did something about it,” William said, reaching across the table to take Celine’s hand.
The two of them spent the next hour talking and brainstorming ways to bring the couple back together. They finally came up with an idea to have a meeting between both families to make plans to bring them closer.
The next day, both Rebecca and Madeline attended the meeting at Celine and William’s home. The atmosphere was a bit tense, as the families had never met before.
But as soon as the meeting started, the tension dissipated, and everyone was soon engrossed in discussing ideas to bring Rachel and Leo back together.
Some ideas were raised, and others were dropped, as they all knew that both Rachel and Leo were smart people and would see right through them if they were using their matchmaking skills on them. Finally, they all agreed to bring the couple closer by including them in Celine and William’s wedding.
The meeting ended on a high note, with everyone feeling hopeful about Rachel and Leo’s future together. As Celine and William hugged their guests goodbye, they both knew that they had made the right decision. They were all going to do everything in their power to bring the couple back together, and they were confident that their wedding would be the perfect opportunity to do so.
